In reply to: Creating a new section on Main Menu
You should be able to do that by creating a blog or portfolio with a page title “Destinations.” You can add this page to your main menu in Appearance> menus.
Assign this page the correct template, either blog or portfolio depending on what you choose. Assign it the correct category as well so only the posts that you want to show will display on this page. (a category or type called “destinations” will probably work for you)
Then create posts that contain the information that you want to show, and assign them the correct category.
Hopefully I explained that in a way that makes sense!

Pinnacle Premium / Woo Extras / Woo TemplatesHi there,
I’m using WooTemplates for my archive pages and would like to add a link to the parent category or breadcrumbs.
For example on this pageEnabling “Show Breadcrumbs on Archives” in Theme Options doesn’t affect the custom templates.
And I don’t see a widget that would add this.Any ideas?
Thanks,

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: analytics UA code in header
Hi
I have noticerd that the UA code from analytics is showing – along with a white line at the top of all my web pages.

I have tried removing tracking code from theme settings, and uninstalling various plug ins but still there. I am usig Pinnacle premium. Any help welcome
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Andrew,
After some time I’m seeing your sliders show on the page which makes me think it’s a loading issue. Have you compressed your images?
I would also suggest deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting. That could be the reason for your images not showing on the category page. Let me know if there’s no change.Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Kevin,
I have to admit I’m not an expert, this is a managed WP sit and there’s a ‘clear cache’ option, which I assume means I am caching(?).
On my browsers I try reloading and sometimes the first sliders appear but not all seven. I’m still not getting any images on category page on any browser…
Andrew.In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I have just published a new post which contains a total of 7 Kadence sliders. Maybe this is just too many, because they aren’t all appearing in my post: *Login to see link
Also, I no longer see the thumbnails in the category page that the post belongs to *Login to see link
Are the two things connected and is this because there are just too many images/ sliders?
I would really appreciate your help, a lot of work has gone into this post!
Andrew.

Can you send login info for your staging site? You can set as a private reply.
If you wanted a different slider for mobile you could do this by adding both sliders to your page then hiding one on desktop and showing the other with some css, and then visa versa.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Kadence slider buttons display tiny on a mobile
It’s a staging site on a live server hosted with SiteGround. I am using Kadence Slider Pro. As far as I can see, the only option that is specific to mobile is the Mobile Minimum Height in the slider settings. There is nothing specific to mobile on the button options.
Each slider is currently set up identically but with a different background image. It’a single static slide with a button in the bottom right corner. I have the grid height set to 300 and the grid width set to 1140. (it’s set to 200 for mobile). I set it to 1140 as I took a screengrab of the page and this appeared to be the width of the slider. (I have the site layout style set to boxed in the main settings in the theme options).
Is it possible to create one slider for mobile and one for desktop for the same page?
Would it be easier to wait for me to push it live? I can’t go live for another month or two.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: too much on the sides
hi,
my search bar, and my basket are too much in the center as you can see on the top bar of the website
*Login to see linkexcept on the home page where the header is in fullwidth, all the rest of the website is centered and with a lot of margin on both sides.
i would like it to be “normal” 🙂 so that it takes all the width of the screen.
can you telle me how to fix that ?
Thanks
In forum: Virtue ThemeHey, I added pictures to my home page slider but they didn’t show on my website. I tried to add my logo but it didn’t work. I have had problems with it. The home page was different then what I created. Color change, no logo and the slider was gone but i was able to get that back on with only one picture. The 3 bottom pictures under the slider, the first one is not lined up with the other 2 pictures. Under the slider it says’Home Sweet Spot Chocolate Shop’ I have no idea how that got there.

Thanks for your response. Does that mean that I should go to either the blogs or portfolio feature, create a new page, and my question would be then, how could I make those pages appear separately in a different section on my main menu lets say under Destinations, so then I have the Portfolio, Blog, About Me, Contact, and the new section called Destinations. I apologize in advance if my questions dont make a lot of sense, I’m very new to the whole making a website craft.
ThanksIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi! I had a problem where I was trying to display my image menu on the home page(s) so it would display 2 items across on mobile devices. You supplied some code that worked great until a recent update – honestly not sure when it broke because it only affects how it is displayed on mobile devices. Here is the code you previously provided:
@media (max-width: 780px){
#pg-7-0 .panel-grid-cell {
width:50% !important;
float:left !important;
text-align:center;
padding:0 5px !important;
}
#pg-7-0> .panel-row-style {
display: block;
padding:0 5px !important;
}Since the update this creates a conflict. It still displays 2 columns like we want, however it corrupts the next 2 sections which are now compressed on a mobile device. This is a multi-site and I have left one of the sites with the above code so that you can see how it displays since the update: *Login to see link
I have removed the above code from the other location sites. You can see how it displays without the code here: *Login to see link
I understand your policy and realize you cannot be writing code for websites. However, since this involves previous code I’m really hoping we can identify the problem easily. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. -
