Sorry, I was looking at the h2 in the about page and totally misunderstood.

Try changing the page titles to this:
    <span class="firstcharacter">C</span>ircus

    And the CSS should work.

    Hi there,

I am using the accordion widget to create an FAQ section on this page:

I would like the questions to be written using H4 font, but it is currently pulling H5 font. I tried using <h4> tags inside the accordian title, but it didn’t work.

Do you have a suggestion for another way to change this font?

    Thank you in advance!

I have a new client, and I am using Ascend Premium Child theme. And want to import content one step at a time. My first is a media XML file. The WP doesn’t seem to have a specific importer for just that. Am I missing something here? Or do I simply go to media and choose Add file? Any suggestions? This is a first for me doing this.

I will be importing posts and other things but want to be selective. Here is what is currently available to use as importers in WP admin:
Blogger-Import posts, comments, and users from a Blogger blog
Blogroll Import links in OPML format.
Categories and Tags Converter – Convert existing categories to tags or tags to categories, selectively.
LiveJournal -Import posts from LiveJournal using their API.
Movable Type and TypePad-Import posts and comments from a Movable Type or TypePad blog.
RSS-Import posts from an RSS feed.
Tumblr-Import posts & media from Tumblr using their API.
WordPress-Import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.

Not sure what boxed layout means other than setting the page template.

Is there another place you are referring to?

So, if my ‘body background’ is white and
my ‘main content background’ is black then
my webpage should look like a piece of white paper sitting on a black desk.
    Is that right?

    Hello,

    1. The body background sets the color behind your page content. This is most clearly visible when using a boxed layout or a transparent header.

    2. Feature background is more there for backward compatibility, it is a class that you can assign to rows so they all have the same background it also can be for the home page models.

    Hopefully that helps!

    Hello,

    1. Are you using page builder on your site? If so, you can add a row that contains a search for your site to the top of your page.

    2. Same as above. You should be able to add a “categories” widget to the row and it will display above the posts.

    Does that work for you?

    Hey John,
You really need to update your plugins and the theme. Not updating can result in incompatibility issues.
You need to reenable page builder on your homepage. It looks like you’ve switched to the visual editor? Just be aware that when you reenable page builder you will have to reset your settings.

    Hi John,
You can just go into your “new-tours” edit page and copy the code added to the visual editor widget. Then you can paste it wherever you want and replace the information with your own. Does that work for you?

    Hi there.

I’m working using Ascend and also the Kadence Galleries plugin.

I have a batch of images that are ALL 2:1 ratio (the same) – a bunch of logos for a “Members” page.

All just about OK.. but I’ve noticed that (regardless of which “Gallery Image Style” I choose, they are usually either a) Cropped off (no good..) or b) Distorted (squashed).

The closest I can get is with “Wide Landscape” – but they are squashed still, so I’m failing brand guidelines (as major motor brands e.g. Volkswagen).

Is there a way I can enforce that the images on Kadence Galleries are NOT in any way distored?

    Thanks! John.

    Hello,

I suggest using page builder to add the content. In your footer widget area, use a “layout builder” widget. Then add your content to a row, and make sure that the row’s layout is set to “fullwidth stretched.”

    Does that work for you?

    Hello,

If you need to change that string in your language, then I suggest this plugin:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/translating-theme-strings-locotranslate/

In Theme Options> Theme Extensions, are you using a custom 404 page? If so, you just need to edit the page you’ve assigned and remove that shortcode.

If you’re unable to edit it, please post a link so I can take a look at your site.

    Hi Luke,
Have you tried clearing your cache after adding the divider? Or have you added a divider to another page to test? I would suggest trying both of those. Let me know how it goes!

    Good Afternoon,

I’ve been trying to add an image above the footer that is full width however when using the Extra footer widget area or the footer layout with above the footer widget area they are never quite full width.

I can do this easily on a page however I’m wanting this to be site wide and not have to add it to every page.

Hope I’ve explained ok and that you can help.

    Many thanks,
    Anthony

    Hi,
in this test site http://165.227.22.252/categoria-producto/tijeras/tijeras-bordar-costura/ I set a new category page layout. The aim I want is to have like this layout: an attribute list filter but in horizontal orientation

    Brand: Brand1 Brand2 Brand3 Brand4 …. etc etc…
Color: Red Green Blue etc etc . etc….
    Size: 41 43 44 55 ….

I am nearly there but i cannot do the final step that is put the different filter widget one per row and not all in one row as they appear right now in the page…. … do you have a css suggestion to apply?

    thank you very much
    Angelo
