sorry… forgot to add the link:

    It is this page:
    https://kloekkefotografie.nl/

Buttons are added with a shortcode in a visual builder widget.

I would like to have them all in the same width: 3 rows with 2 buttons in each row.

I created three sidebars for separate pages but none show up in the list under page attributes, only primary sidebar. I had two of the sidebars working prior to converting to gutenberg. Now they are not there. And when I convert to block from classic, everything is converted to html code and/or shortcodes block. What is going on?

Thanks for the quick response. This is a decent temporary fix, but does not do exactly as I was hoping nor what I had working originally. I understand what you’re talking about where the static page in Settings will cause the page template to override what I have set as the page template directly in the edit page screen. However, the blog posts were displaying originally and I don’t understand what changed that made it stop working.

I had originally had the homepage set as a static page with a page created using the blog grid page template. It displayed the posts in a column of 3 and it was the image on top with excerpt text below and staggered height (Pinterest-style). It would display all the blog posts, not just the max of 8 with the latest blog posts module (also this module only allows a max of 2 columns) you’re referring to.

If I were to create a page template for the home page “page-home.php” (in this case the page is called “Home” with slug of “home”) and copy the code from “page-blog-grid.php” into it that should override the default home page template, right? Will it use the settings from the Theme Options->Blog Options screen?

Hi kevin, its through some code from an affiliate hypnosis download website, I have put the code into a custom html widget in page builder

    #215178

This has to do with the search form that you’ve placed on the page. It is not resizing in mobile and is throwing off the page layout. How exactly are you adding the search hypnosis box? Is it through a plugin?

I’m in the process of putting together a Portfolio page and when I’m looking at the Preview (it’s not published yet) the Featured Image is very blurry. It almost seems like it’s being saved at smaller dimensions, but I know that’s not the case.

Is there anything in the recent update that could be causing the issue?

I’m leery of publishing the post with the Featured image looking so bad.

    Thanks,
    Dean

    Hello,

You can create as many sidebars as you like in Theme Options> Misc Settings.

Then assign the widgets in Appearance> widgets.

Then navigate to the page you want this sidebar to show on, and assign it to the page.

    Hello,

In settings> Reading, are you setting your home page as a static page? When assigning as a static page, the theme automatically uses the home page template and will override your blog grid settings.

Try going to Theme Options> home Layout, and set the “latest blog posts” to show where you want. Then you can scroll down to “Home Blog Settings” to configure these posts.

    does that work for you?

Is there a way to have a different sidebar for one page? I see in widgets that there is a sidebar3. But it doesn’t show up in the list of templates for that page. Don’t want to add another plugin if possible.

I have designed a site ( ) using Gutenberg and virtue premium. It is a single-page site that the only page being used is set as the home page. It also uses the Blog Grid page template. When I first created it, it was showing blog posts after all the content like it’s supposed to. Recently my client emailed me to say the blog posts aren’t showing up. There’s no error message with WP_DEBUG set to true. My client and I have not made any changes between it working and not. Any ideas?

    Hi Hannah,

Well I tried that and I couldn’t get it to work, it changed the proportion of the kadence block on the other side and didn’t cooperate.

What I was trying to do was have a main image on one side of the split with a caption and then on the other side a tabs block. So I’ve given up on that, and now am back to wrangling with these tabs. How do I get it to look like your tabs in the shortcodes page here; http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/shortcodes/

I’m having difficulty getting a picture to stay up in the corner with the text on the right like that. I tried inserting an image, an inline image and creating split content on the tab entry. Can you tell me how you got that effect on your tabs example?

    Thanks,

    Susan

    Hi,

Can you assign more than one customized sidebar to the category/archive pages?

    Thank You.

Looks like you are using a plugin and not the theme animation options in pagebuilder. Switch to the theme options and I can offer a css way to do this. There isn’t a way with css to use your current plugin.

    Hello,

If you want to switch from a page to post, I think the easiest way is just to create a new page or post, then go to the one that you’re wanting to convert, hit CNTRL+A or CMMND+A to select all the content, and copy it to your clipboard. Then just paste the content to your new page or post.

    Does that work for you?

    Hi,
with Hutenberg the only plugin I find to change post/page type seems to not work…is there a way to switch a page to post with Gutenberg?

    Thx

This isn’t controlled by the theme.

Woocommerce creates the user once you click the large bottom button on your checkout page. If you are using most modern checkout payment options that should include the payment gateway which doesn’t solve the issue entirely because the payment could still fail but with the modern paypal integrations a customer has a login and set up PayPal before that button is pressed. If they are being redirected to something like PayPal you will get more that drop out.

However, if you want a more consistent way then allow guests to check out at your site and create an account after purchase:

    https://usersinsights.com/woocommerce-auto-register-users/

That, however, may not work well with most subscription extensions because many require an account.

So the final option to bring up is using a plugin like: https://automatewoo.com/

Which can trigger an event if/when the payment fails and that would allow you to remove the user account or at least change the users permissions.

    I hope that helps,

    Ben

If you’re using the page title and subtitle area, you can actually upload the image directly to those settings. Try assign the “background image” under the title settings, and let me know if that works for you.

Hi Hannah, thank you for the help.

I found the issue. I don’t need to change it one page anymore….because it’s the body text sizing as a whole.

I need to keep the body text a different size than the sidebar text. I have set up the body text through Theme Options> Typograhy. When I enlarge that font, it enlarges the body font in the side bar. <cheesy grin>

Also, I need a little more spacing between lines in blog posts, and excerpts of blog post on homepage.

Are these requests possible with custom CSS?

    Thank you,
    Pam

    Hello,

How exactly are you adding the buttons? You should be able to add them to columns in a page builder or the block editor to have more control over the exact look.

Please include a link to your page with each support request so we can see how things are setup.

    Thanks!
