In reply to: Woo Commerce Product Archive Layout
December 9, 2018 at 2:21 am #210290Additionally there is a confusion which template is used. There is the possibility of assigning templates via the Woo Commerce “products (here the templates are build via Elementor) and then the “Template Builder of Woo Commerce” or the Templates via “Kadence Woo Templates” (here you use Page Builder). Obviously the ones assigen via “Product” are stronger and override the “Kadence Woo Templates”. On Top of that you can also customize some of the properties via the “Theme Design” and “Woo Extra”. Very confusing which is influencing which. Can you give me some advise on the hirarchy?
Additionally only some of the elements seem to work. I created a “Single Product Page” with Elementor and assigned it as the Standard Template. It does not display “upselleing” or related “Products” and also it is impossible to configure the “Product Tabs” Element in terms of (some of) the color/display options or the way the elements (Description, Rating) are designed…
I send you again the user/pw as an extra private post. My feeling is, that may different plugins/features are working against each other…
Thanks!
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Team,
Please could you help with some CSS for this site?On pages like this for screenwidths below 420px, I have my Woocommerce buttons “Go to Order” & “Checkout” crashing my Testimonial slider in a “Above Footer” widget.
I have tried to enforce a margin-top, but this has had no effect on the problem. Here’s the code:
@media only screen and (max-width: 420px) {
div.clearfix.kt_footer_sitewide_shortcode {
margin-top: 15px;
}
}Please could you help me enforce a gap?
Thanks,
Phil.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Elementor and Virtue Split content
Hi Ben,
Thanks for the fix. I tried re-loading the page and the {table id] still show.
On a similar vein, the [btn] shortcode can display the button code, rather than the button itself. I am using the Virtue button shortcode in a pre-configured Elementor drop-in block. Again, I might be doing something wrong, and my Internet is really slow.
I’m really glad that I tried Elementor and Virtue together. Interactive editing is good and there are a lot of pre-built layouts.
Thanks again for all the assistance.

December 8, 2018 at 1:58 pm #210268Hey,
You can add this css as a temp fix but I’ll update this with the next version:.elementor-edit-mode .kt-animate-fade-in-right { opacity:1; right: 0; } .elementor-edit-mode .kt-animate-fade-in-left { opacity:1; left: 0; }As for the checkbox not staying checked I have an update for that as well.
I’m not sure about tablepress, If you reload the edit page does it show?

Hey,
1. Create a page and set the page template to blog. Then, once the page has refreshed, you should see a Blog Options tab. From there you can select “Grid with first post as standard” from the Post output style dropdown. Then, under your Page Title and Subtitle tab you can upload an image and add a title and subtitle. No need to use Canva.
2. Yes, just set the Post output style ti Photo and the number of columns to 3.
3. Which editor are you using? Or are you using a page builder? You can add a call to action widget on top of any image background (if using a page builder plugin this is easy).
4. Do you mean the demos? You can open the image in a new tab by right clicking then save the image. Or you can find tons of free stock photos here: https://unsplash.com/
Hope that’s helpful!

December 8, 2018 at 10:30 am #210250Hey Hannah/Ben/Kevin
🙂 Thanks for the feedback. What I want to do is the following:
Change my HOME page:
1). How can I change my Page to look exactly like the Ascend Wanderlust (Our Blog) page? Must I have a BLOG page? Can’t I just add all the Posts so if you hover over HOME or BLOG the subtitles open (I hope it makes sense)? How do I get the Wording on Image (do I have to use Canva or other)?2). Secondly Is it possible to alter my existing Posts to show as on Blog style – Photo-Ascend But 3 next to each other?
link:- http://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium-2/blog-style-photo/Similar to the Main page of the following Blog: https://www.adventureinyou.com
combination of what I currently have (image with a bit of description below just like on their website).3). How can I add a Call to action button on an Image? (I know it is stupid but I can’t get it right)?
4.). Is it possible to download and use some of your images on other themes and how do I go by downloading them?
Thanks in advance

A quick update. In Elementor, a shortcode for TablePress in a text editor widget is not showing the table. It shows [table id=1 /], but page works correctly online.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this related to Elementor not displaying the Virtue split content widget?
Thanks!
In forum: Ascend ThemeDecember 8, 2018 at 2:55 am #210237Hi,
I am looking for a way to customize the look of the Woo Commerce Product Archive, especially the products. WheI try to customize via the page builder I can “drill down” to the “Woo Archive: Main Loop” but I did not find a way to customize the look of the products displayed. For example I would like to add a short description or when you hover over the item the text is cut off and the color of the shipping cost link is white….In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Pop up problem
December 7, 2018 at 10:43 pm #210223To add, You should not load the same form twice on a page, Make sure your footer form is different from the popup form.

In forum: Virtue ThemeDecember 7, 2018 at 5:43 pm #210209Hey,
1. I suggest if you feel that you need to have all Heading tags to add a Heading 4 tag into your content. From everything I have been told about SEO you don’t need all tags on a page.Otherwise, if you don’t feel comfortable using a child theme (we can help but you still have to manage) you would need to hire a developer.
2. There is not really part of the way WordPress works so you would have to use a custom function through a child theme ( I’ve not ever seen a plugin offer this).
The only other option would be to create your own excerpts. Using the custom excerpt box and there adding your own read more links manually.
Then in the theme options > blog options be sure to turn off the “Add “read more” link to custom excerpts?”

In forum: Ascend ThemeI have a kadence slider on homepage. Can’t figure out why two images I added don’t show. And when I try to edit the other two images that do show, the editing fields won’t come up when I click the image.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hannah,
Thank you, the first css code took care of the shipping methods issue. The second css code moved the Place Order button to the right hand side. Though it does look better there, I kinda still don’t the set-up and structuring of that page and I can’t recall what this particular page looked like before to give you a comparison or whether this page even existed at all before. I don’t recall the site diving an order number prior to the last step of the purchase process which is after the credit card has been entered and ran and a confirmation is generated. I hope I’m making sense.-Gary
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
1. this would require the use of a child theme and some coding to change the actual output to an h4. If your just wanting to adopt the styling of an h5 to the h4 elements on that page, then I can give you some CSS for that.
2. This would require use of a child theme as well, if it’s even possible. How many different variations of the read more are you looking to have? Do you want to change it so it’s custom for each post?

Good morning Ben and Hannah,
I’m having a few issues with the site which begins after an item is added to the cart:
1). Before, when I added an item to the cart, it displayed a thumbnail image of the item and item info and stated that this item is in your cart. Would you like to continue with your purchase or continue to shop? Now, I’m noticing that after I add an item to the cart, the site displays texts that states “Your cart is currently empty” with a [Return to Shop] button under it. However, it does show the item in the cart at the top right cart icon in the black menu bar, and when I refresh my screen, it populates and displays the item on the screen as it should. How can we fix it?
2). I had chosen Flat rate shipping methods and the shipping menu does display all the methods for the shoppers to select… However, at the bottom of the shipping methods selection it states, “This is only an estimate. Prices will be updated during checkout”. Can that be erased, or can that entire table be omitted from being displayed once the item is added to the cart? Because after you click on the Proceed to Checkout button and your on the address and personal information fill-out page, the shipping menu is there as well, but it does not state that this is an estimate like it does on the previous page.
3). After you’re done filling out the address and personal information in the cart and select the Credit Card payment method instead of PayPal, it takes you to a random looking page where is displays the Order Number, Payment Method, Date, and Total in a scattered layout which was not there before. There is also a Place Order button in the center which takes you to the Stripe.com icon where you’d enter your credit card number exp date and code then click on Submit for the final step of the check out.
Are these theme issues or a woocommerce issues? I can provide you with screen shots if you’d like.
Thank you,
Gary
Webite: http://www.GroomsRing.comIn forum: Virtue ThemeHey guys,
I am using elementor and split content, and the widget is blank in the elementor display field. The widget editing field works, and if I go to the page I am editing live on the internet, the content appears. But the elementor display is blank white, and it stays blank when I click the red left/right arrow to display the whole page. So interactive editing doesn’t work.
Virtual call-to-action does work.
I turned off my content block for the site.
Any ideas?
In forum: Ascend ThemeHey guys!

Individual event page (Belle Wang and Sage Binder), shows ticket form and works OK: Individual event page
Events list view, “Buy Now” button should be just to the right of the ticket prices ($10-$15.00) for Wang and Bender: https://www.musicanovaaz.com/events/
Does that work for you?
December 6, 2018 at 3:56 pm #210086I’m using Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus to sell tickets on my site through WooCommerce. The ticket sales form shows up and works correctly on the event page (), but a “Buy Now” button that should appear just to the right of the ticket price range doesn’t show up in the events list () in Virtue Premium. When I switch to the standard theme Twenty Seventeen, the button does appear.
Events Calendar tech support reported this:
Looking at the markup on your site, it appears you are using a custom template of some sort? I see the components wrapped in unfamiliar markup.
If you did not add any custom templates, it’s possible that there are some included in your theme.Please advise. Any Virtue Premium settings I can adjust, edit or add CSS, or other action to fix this?
