Hey Nigel,
There’s an option to do this in your pages using the feature template, but not in your posts. Sorry. You can make your revolution slider show at the top of your posts by setting the head content to shortcode under standard post option in your post edit page.

Hi,

On my regular pages I have a full-width Revolution slider across the top with “move above header” switched on. I need to be able to recreate that same look on posts. I have tried adding a shortcode in the “Head content” but I can see no way of moving it above the header. Am I missing something?

I just meant marking your thread as a private reply. Looks like you figured it out:)
I’m not sure what’s causing your issue. When I created a new page the visual editor widget worked without issue. Have you tried re-creating your “How to start a Blog” page? I would suggest doing so. Let me know if the same issue occurs. Also, be sure to update to the latest version of Ascend.

Hi, since yesterday I have a problem ok yes since yesterday afternoon when I want to work (edit) a page (new page but not published yet), it throws me out the moment I go to visual editor – ?

it is the How to start a blog page (new page) immediately goes out of the site and the following message is the only one that appears on a blank screen

Hi guys,

First I want to thank Ben and Kevin for replying to me so fast on this topic. I discovered the option of having the pages content width as full width or content. I loved the width style and wanted to use it, but noticed that the titles and other things were not as wide as the rest of the content. I also wanted to have the entire website pages wide so I asked for some help and got the following codes that helped me fix the issue.

.container {width: 100%;padding-left:5%;padding-right:5%;}

.contactform input.full, .contactform textarea {max-width: 100%;}

.sidebar .form-search {width: 100%;max-width: none;}

The website I’m working on is earthxplorer.ro

I still have some issues I would like to change / fix and I could use some help:

1. The search widget in the header it’s not acting properly when clicked ( the search in the main menu icon ),
2. The blog featured images are a little strange and I would like them to cover the box as they normally do,
3. There is any way to change the height of the portrait featured image as now with the wide content it’s way too high,
4. If in the main menu I add more than six items, when I minimize the browser page to a smaller resolutions, the menu items are acting strange as well.

Thank you in advance for all the support. The website started looking as I want to, and it’s the same for my two other websites.

1. Have you tried deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting? I would suggest doing so. Let me know if there’s no change.

2. I viewed your cart page and removed the css you added using the inspect tool and I didn’t see a difference. Can you link to the page this is happening? And also send a screenshot? https://postimage.org/

Unfortunately don’t have the page in an online environment. I’m just taking about the dropdown menus used by woocommerce as posted in the screen shot. You can find them with product variations or also on the catalog page (drop down to filter the results).

Hey,
I’m not sure how you got your iPhone to play the demo on mobile but mobile browsers have always blocked this. It’s not something new.

If you just want a video on your home page I suggest adding a video. The slider is set up to add a background video so you can place text on top. If your only goal is to play the video as a video in the size of the video then I suggest simply adding the video to your site and not using a slider.

The slider won’t play a background video on mobile because it’s not a video player it’s a background video option for the primary purpose of being a slider and mobile browsers don’t allow background videos to autoplay so the slider will always show the image on mobile.

In pagebuilder click on the edit row and increase your top and bottom padding for the row.

You don’t need to use the call to action just add an editor widget and place your title into that. But if you really want to use the call to action widget there is an option to change the align from center to left in the widget settings.

It’s possible but you would have to code it out. I can help with that but just you would need to setup the tabs. Use pagebuilder and add the virtue: tab widget and build out your tabs with normal titles.

Then post back here with a login make sure to be clear as to what Icons you want to use.

Hey,
1. Firefox doesn’t show that part as green. It’s not an issue it’s how the browser decides to show it. Look at google in firefox.

2. Pages are not posts. That structure would work for posts but pages would remain the same. If you want something custom for pages edit each page and set it in your page.
