Can you send me the shortcode you’re using? Is there a reason you’re not using the staff grid page template?
Hannah
Thanks Hannah,
I had actually tried using page builder but even there you can only vertically-align the whole cell, not the separate widgets in one cell…
Maybe I’ll just use the split content shortcode instead, it looks somewhat similar. One question about this shortcode: Is there a way to already have it collapse to one column for screens under 992px? By default, the collapse to one at 767px.
Thanks!
I would like to make the entries for each staff person cut off at the same height so that the social icons line up on the bottom of each row. Is there Custom CSS for this?
Here’s the page: *Login to see link

Thanks, yes that makes sense, but that’s not quite the issue. I’m able to get a sidebar to display on my pages, but I want to be able to populate it with sibling pages only. So for our site (saintmarks.ecwwblog.org), for example under “ABOUT” I would want the page for “Who We Are” to have “History, Become a Member, Clergy” etc. as the menu options on that sidebar. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!
Liz
Hi,
I am having a padding issue. It is present on every page.

Here are all of my Custom CSS entries also. It might be something I have done here.
.footercredits {
text-align: center;
padding-top: 0px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
}
.footercredits p {
font-size: 12px;
color: #000;
border: 1px solid #000;
padding: 5px 10px;
display:inline-block;
}
.kad-header-style-three #nav-main ul.sf-menu>li>a {
padding: 0 6px;
}
.contentclass {
padding-bottom: 30px;
padding-top: 15px;
width: 100%;
}
.home [class*=wp-image] {
padding: 0;
width: 100%;
}
div#content {
width: 100%;
}
@media (min-width: 992px) {
.kad-header-left {
width: 20%;
}
.kad-header-right {
width: 80%;
}
.kad-header-style-three #nav-main ul.sf-menu>li>a {
padding: 0 6px;
}
#pgc-51-0-0 input[type="image"] {
float: none;
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
display: block;
}
/* center Paypal button */
input.wpedon_paypalbuttonimage {
display: block;
margin: 0 auto;
}
Thanks.
Can you link to the page? Are you clearing your server cache?
Ben

Hi there,
After last, a few days ago Ascend theme update I’m having a problem with infinite loading on my shop page:
*Login to see link dio/store/
It loads with the huge gap in about 2000 px.
Could you help me with that?
Thank you so much!
Max
Hmm, that comes from internal information. I’ll update the theme so that it pulls from the object label which would be translatable based on who is creating the custom post type so the product would be a woocommerce string, page and post would be core strings.
Ben
Hello Hannah.
When I first got to the page it appeared to be working. The background stayed purple and the logo had a jumpy transition from logo with text to logo with no text.
Then, I cleared my cache, refreshed the page, and the changes were gone. I checked in Theme Options > Custom CSS and the additional code you referenced is gone.
Not sure what’s happening…
Thanks for all your help!

I had some home widgets in place that have disappeared following an update of the theme and WordPress. Has this been a widespread issue?
Previously, I could go to Appearance > Widgets and see three items I had saved in the Home Widget Area (three call to action images). The Home Widget Area is still there but it contains no content.
Similarly, if I go to Theme Options > Home Layout there is text present in the Home Call To Action Settings > Call to Action Text but after the updates that text is no longer displaying on the home page.
It would be great to get some help recovering these items.
Thanks!
I will submit another private post with the WP login credentials. Feel free to login to investigate.
I’m trying get the cart icon in the header but can’t get it to show up. I can add a widget, but then it just adds the word “CART” in an awkward spot but I’d rather just have the cart icon. I know it was there when I built the site a couple months ago, we just weren’t ready to add a shop to the page until now.

Hi Andrea,
There isn’t a built-in function to bottom align text. Using the Virtue spacing shortcode you could add padding above your text to push it down. Though this would not look good on mobile. I think would recommend using a page builder plugin such as Elementor page builder. This will give you an option to adjust the padding for both mobile and desktop.
Let me know if you need further help setting that up!

Hi!
Is there a way to have a monthly archive that only displays the articles of a single category? I’d like to make that happen in the sidebar of a blog page that only shows articles belonging to one category, but the default archive widget only seems to list every article in the entire website. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Hey,
Are you using the staff grid page template? Can you post a link?
Thanks!
Hannah
Hi Guys,
I am having some difficulty getting my staff page to show 3 images side by side. It is the same in the testimonials page with 3 columns in the short code but only 2 showing on my laptop. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Dion
