    To whom it may concern,

    As seen in the image/link below, my customers can’t checkout. The checkout page is loading forever.

    I’m using WordPress + WooCommerce + Vertue Premium 4.6.8

    I have tried:

    – Newest version of Virtue Theme (4.6.8)
    – Reset all options in Virtue Theme
    – Update all plugins
    – Disable and enable different payment options
    – Disable and enable alle the plugins one by one.

    Please help me!

    We have the site set as a boxed display. When we add an image as Background it displays fine. The right and left of the website ( when in a larger browser) display the image.
    But, when you click on other pages the background image seems to zoom or otherwise display differently. MUCH differently in some cases. I could leave the site like that so sending a link may not help, so here are screenshots of assorted pages.

    Landing Page:

    About:

    Spa:

    I’ve tried other images and still the same results.
    Any Ideas?

    I don’t know of any good way that you could do this and it be both secure and reliable. I’m not aware of any plugin that would do this.

    Off the top of my head I would suggest a link that isn’t in your sitemap and isn’t linked to on your site where these referrals land, then I would have them create an account from there that is free and gives them the right access.

    Else you could add a cookie to the users browser from that landing page that you then looked for on other pages and if it were there you showed content but that would all be custom code and assumes memberpress has hooks you can use to change visibility. I’ve not used that one so I can’t say for sure but I would guess so. It’s not very reliable though since people can turn off cookies. Also means you can’t run any page caching because you would always have to look for that cookie.

    I’m not sure I have any other suggestions.

    I’m utilizing the Blog Post Quote format for a client’s employee recognition feature and have a couple of questions:

    1. Let me start by saying I’ve set up a main Post category of Highlights & Recognition, which is the parent of 2 sub-categories (Employee Highlights and Peer-to-Peer Recognition), and I’ve created a page called Highlights & Recognition which uses the Blog Template assigned with the H & R Blog Category. The aim is to have both sub-categories display when you visit the main H&R page, which does happen, except the post quotes don’t display the categories, title or date posted like the standard post does (at the moment there’s only one of those, but 10 or so of the post quotes).

    2. The post quotes themselves aren’t clickable – am I missing something or were they never meant to be clicked on?

    3. For the longer quotes where the text wraps to the next line, the white background behind the text at the end of the first line and beginning of the second doesn’t have any padding – is there a way to correct this so it doesn’t look chopped off? (btw, I just noticed it only does this in Firefox and displays fine in Chrome and Safari. Haven’t had a chance to check IE)

    Thanks for your help – hopefully this all makes sense!

    I see, had to do with the sanitation of vs "

    ” was being treated as code… I updated your page and I’ll update the theme with a way to handle this better.

    Hi,

    I just upgraded to the latest version of this plugin, and am getting this notice on pages that use size charts:
    Undefined variable: chart in /wp-content/plugins/kadence-woo-extras/lib/sizechart/kt-size-chart.php on line 368

    Thanks,

    Ben helped me configure a right sidebar using a child theme so I could use 2 sidebars on that site. To be fair, he make it clear that customizations could be iffy. I have one question relating to customizing things a bit, but the other is related to quirky behavior.

    First, the site is HERE.

    I’m trying to add a vertical divider line that runs the full length of the content area using code similar to what I use for the standard left sidebar, but the divider only extends as far as this “artificial” right sidebar. Here’s the CSS I’m using:

    @media
    (min-width: 992px){
    #content #ktsidebar-second {
    border-left: 2px solid #e8e8e8;
    }
    }

    Not sure if there’s anything we can do about that given the nature of the best.

    The 2nd problem, however, can be seen if you visit the Membership page HERE.

    In situations where the page content is shorter than this right sidebar, the sidebar goes busting through the footer and the bottom of the page. I’m hoping we can do something about that other than padding out the content.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Hannah, not really. It used to be better in the past without the cropping of the images. I will consider purchasing your WOO extra plugin if I can “regain control” over the look and feel of these WOOcommerce pages.

    Hey Alastair,
    There isn’t a built-in function to change the single product page layout. You could use a plugin like this to create custom templates for your product pages: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woo-template-builder/
    Or, if you’re using Elementor page builder you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/kadence-woocommerce-elementor/
    Would either of those plugins work for you?

    Hi there,

    We love your sliders and have been using them on our portfolio pages like so:

    However when we try to use them in the Woo products templates, they always appear below the product even when they are placed at the top of the page in the visual editor. For consistency, we’d like them to appear up top as in the above page. Can you advise the best way of achieving this?

    Many thanks!

    Hey Lynne,
    Using a page builder is likely the simplest solution here. In the Virtue Shortcodes tab within the visual editor there is a columns option, but I personally find it much easier to use a page builder. What exactly will you be showcasing? Can you post a link?

    I am building an affiliate marketing website and need to set up a page in grid format to showcase some items. I do not see a grid-themed option under page attributes while using the Virtual Premium theme.
    It looks like I can get what I want using Page Builder, but I’m hoping there is an easier way?
    Thanks in advance,
    Lynne
    (PS: I am a novice, so any advice using coding will not help me)

    Hey Liz,
    You can select a sidebar template for any of your pages. Under the Page Attributes tab in your edit page. Is that what you mean?

    Hi,
    Are you using page builder by site origin? If so, a workaround could be to use the two column layout, then use css to make the first column full width. Then add the layout builder widget to the first column and create the layout you’re wanting. This is the css you would need:

    .col-md-6.col-sm-6.footercol1 {
        width: 100%;
        margin: auto;
    }

    Let me know if that will work for you!

    Hi Adrien,
    Have you tried re-creating these on a text page? Would you mind sending login info so we can take a look? You can set as a private reply.
