Hi. I’ve recently created a new site using the latest versions. I need a tool that will allow a search on a variety of categories which I believe the plugin Search & Filter By Designs & Code should work *Login to see link I’ve downloaded and activated but it only shows the plugin name with a page that offers technical support. It does not offer the option to add a new search form in the sub menu as shown here *Login to see link I can’t see any issues in their support forum so I think it may be an issue with the Virtue Theme. Do you have any ideas? Alternatively do you know of any similar plugins that will allow multiple search options using categories?

Hello!

Is there any way to add a menu on a page? Instead of using tabs I want to have a menu that will link to the content throughout the page (through IDs) and look like tabs (so that the entire content can be scroled without going back to tabs headers, which is better for mobile devices).
The effect I want to achieve would be similar to what you can see on this page, for example:
*Login to see link
(Experiences, map, articles, etc).
I thought of using IDs to link to the content. But I have one issue when using the IDs and linking to them on the page. The top line gets covered because of the sticky menu. Example:

Is there any way to fix it other then manually reassigning IDs to different lines below the header?

Hey,
Have you published your slider? Have you tested it on a page? Try doing that and then send the link to that page so we can take a look. Also, are you using all updated versions (theme/wordpress/plugins)?

I have noticed that I have some problems. I googled around and found it could be a conflict with a theme as well as many other things. I have virtue for a long time, but I have to say I am totally desperate.
I tried my hosting tech support, but they just gave up as they could not resolve the issue.
At the moment I am unable to log in into my dashboard as well create any new accounts. Or log in into any account.
I have a multi site and it works via one, but not the other.
So I can’t log in via: *Login to see link
or *Login to see link
or password reset , though I do not need to reset the password. I have done that via different routes and It never works. It is just that no matter what I try, whether it is registering new account or logging in, the page will just refresh.
I can, however log in through the rdbroyal.com/wp-admin and then I stay logged in when I go to .SK domain, but that is more of a workaround and it does not solve the issue.

If you can help me, I will probably build a statue in your honor.
Just let me know what you need.

Hey Ben,

That is a relief, thank you.
I’ve signed up for free Moz trial and their notification confirmed 102 crawl issues and a loooooong list of speed issues (more than 1 page).
For me it came as a shock.

I’ve installed total Cache and Smush. I know I still have a lot to learn and ‘time’ is a problem, therefore I might ask ‘stupid’ things.
I’ll rather ask than keep quiet 🙂

Hi Hannah, if you look at this category page: https://phprescription.com/product-category/whole-house-water-filters/

All the black tanks are 1600 x 2400 and they are cut off. The longest one, which I will soon replace is 334 x 729, so I don’t get what’s happening.

I just need everything to resize so the entire tanks show and they can be reduced to fit in the square.

Thanks for the quick response!

1. I’ll see if my client is ok with adding the topbar info to the menu for mobile. When I turned off the simple mobile header the topbar/header was totally messed up.

2. I adjusted some settings and it looks a little better – I don’t think there’s anything that can really be done beyond that because of the way my client wants the lines of text.

3. I have tried about 20 different settings for the mobile margin within the widget and there are literally no changes when I refresh the page on mobile. So I’m not sure if I have a setting somewhere else that is overriding the widget settings or what might be the problem? Also, is there a way to have the text size shrink a bit on mobile? The headings of each flip box are way too big on mobile.

4. that worked for the navigation portion, but is it possible to also center the copyright info under the navigation?

5. That didn’t affect the alignment of the widget at all. And the flip boxes still overlap (on horizontal mobile and vertical tablet)

6. That didn’t change the page title alignment on mobile or vertical tablet (horizontal table it is center aligned)

What happened, to now have their bottoms cut off, was I had to change (on theme options, shop settings, “Product Image Aspect Ratio to Landscape 4:3 because they had new product images made and some were portrait and some were more landscape. So the product pages were resizing for portrait and cutting off the sides. After I did this then on the carousel it was cutting off some of the bottoms.

I really don’t know what to do anymore with these pictures. No matter the size they need to fit in the product and carousel box.

Those are prebuilt and not templates, it’s a different type of template. You have to go to products > product templates in your admin. There you can build templates that would be selectable on individual products pages.

You can always just use the products elemetor and not work with a template by selecting that in your product template settings.

I’m trying to add some content above the existing top bar content. Essentially, a “free shipping” or other type message like you could find with this type of plugin: free-shipping-bar.

The problem I run into is that I can’t just push the topbar/page content down by the size of the plugin’s message because it’s dynamic – sometimes the message will appear and sometimes it won’t depending on page, cart totals, user location, current promos, ect.

So what I’m looking for is a way to push the existing top bar down when the message exists. Otherwise, they sit on top of each other as they both go in the top bar spot.
