I split the text widget into two instead of 2 top and bottom. Don’t know which would work better.

It looks like the added “asc” and “desc” codes worked. But the number of portfolio types didn’t. Should have 4 on the left and 3 on the right. And hopefully images are a little larger and titles fit within each box.

Attached is an homepage image of how I would like it to look possibly. If not, then two rows, which may work better using 2 rows of split text widgets. Thanks for your help as always.

Hi Dan,
Have you tried using the landing page template within the theme? That hides the footer as well as the header. Let me know if it doesn’t work for you.

I’ve been looking into lazy loading solutions so that offscreen images are only fetched once the get into the view. This is a Google Audit Performance (page speed insights and lighthouse) recommendation and at least for Mobile with not too fast connectivity this makes pages load much faster.

Do you have some recommendation here? I’d guess than when using image carousels and galleries (like we do) this could cause side-effects.

Looking through all those lazy loading plugins I’d say that up to now I’d prefer Lazy Loader (plugin link, github link) which is more or less a wrapper around lazysizes (*Login to see link

So since this is just a wrapper around the lazysizes JS library I wonder if some kind of lazyloading is already included in Virtue Premium. Or if something like this is planned as an option.

HI, after I updated Revo slider with the new theme release, the page where I show the slider with the template “slider revolution blank template” now shows the header and below the slider the blog roll.

Am looking for a template to show a complete empty page (landingpage template only hides header), and if I am correct “slider revolution blank template” did that so far.

Is “slider revolution blank template” the optimal template to only show fullscreen slider?

You can’t center align a grid. So you can add two shortcodes but the bottom one will be larger since you would be setting the columns two a lower amount or they would be aligned left.

I supposed you could use page builder create three rows and place your second shortcode in the center row and since it’s smaller with the columns set to three it would fill less space and not be as large but there is no way to make it exactly the same size as the grid items above.

In terms of the shortcode you would need to flip the order. So for the top it would be order="asc" and the bottom order="desc" which means your last item will be first in the second row. So it’s not perfect but could allow to to use two shortcodes.

It seems that you’re adding the header with a page builder header builder, and not the theme. Take a look at the page edit screen, and find “Page Title and Subtitle.” The header image is set by selecting your “Background Image” by uploading your photo or selecting one from your media library.

Using the theme defined page title settings will work better, since it will be what works with your theme options default settings. I also suggest uploading the images without adding the page title first and using the theme generated page title. This will be better for your SEO.

Let me know if that makes sense.

Sorry, I’m confused. What happens in the page when you add the image as your header background and enable the page title and configure it as you have for the other pages?

Hey,

Try adding this CSS to Theme Options> Advanced Settings:

@media (max-width: 400px) {
.kt-ctaw .kt-call-to-action-title {
    font-size: 20px !important;
}}

The issue is just that the h2 font size is too large for the page in mobile. Let me know if that works for you!

I’m working on a site for a client and when I test the homepage using my mobile, I find I’m able to scroll right slightly, with an empty looking space running down the entire right side of the page.

I thought it was likely an issue I’d created on my own so loaded up the demo page I’ve based the site on, and the issue seems to be present there too.

I’m not sure but I think the ‘scroll to top’ arrow that appears may be the thing causing the page to ‘grow’. (it doesn’t appear to fully fit my devices’ screen space)

Apologies if there is already an option for this, but is there somewhere I can disable the ‘scroll to top’ button for mobile devices?
And, if that isn’t the cause – Do you have any ideas on what else might be causing it?
