In forum: Pinnacle ThemeApril 17, 2016 at 10:41 pm #91153Hey,
This is hilariously bad support from site ground… but I guess it’s to be expected at times.. Let me go through this with you but first I need to help you understand why I say that.So when the support guy changed your site to a default theme and ran GTMatrix he didn’t even bother to see what was actually loading on your site… This is the funny(but not funny part). If you look at the screen shot of the link you sent you can see that the only thing that loaded was an error.. No site actually loaded just 1 line of text that said you had a fatal error with a plugin (hard to read but I believe that was to do with a paid membership pro). So your site is taking 1.2 seconds to load 1 line of text that is an error and not even loading a page using a basic theme… Hopefully you can see the issue but to make it super clear 1.2 seconds to load an error is really bad and that fact that they blame the theme because that got this great 1.2 second time is even more bad because they weren’t even loading a normal theme.
Ok know et me show you that this isn’t a slow theme. see this site here: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/deMfa8/http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/
That is the demo site, pay close attention to the loading time… (which by the way is the only grade you want to be concerned with in the end).
But lets dig further.. your link shows a 1.2 second load… with 2 requests(because nothing ran) and 378 bytes (because nothing loaded)The demo has 66 requests and 1.8MB of page size.
I hope I’m showing this clear.
So here is my post about page speed: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/
There you can see a lot of great tips.
But what you most need to fix is actually this:
https://www.seo101.net/apntrack.js Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUTWhatever you have added to make this script load on your site it’s causing your big issues. (you had lots of places to improve but this will save you from the realm of minutes.) So if you didn’t add yourself then start deactivating plugins until you find the one that is and there you will find the main big issue.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeI’ve been searching here to find a solution and used the code given in replies, but my site title still cuts off on tablet and mobile devices. I’m using Pinnacle Premium, downloaded today and my url is awesomecampinggear.com
Another issue I’ve been having is my blog posts are underneath the header, 10 of them, then the posts repeat again as you scroll down my page. Any way to only have the 10 below the header without it repeating? I’ve gone through almost every option on the theme over the past 7 hours. This newbie needs some help. Thanks.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Review Tab and Additional Info Tab
Hey Kumar,
The additional information tab will only appear if you have added additional information such as shipping information, etc. The reviews tab should be appearing if you have product tabs enabled in Theme Options > Product Settings. Can you post a link?Hannah

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Where to add Testimonials?
This seems like a really obvious question, but where can I add testimonials in order to show up on the testimonial grid page? From researching the forums, it sounds like I should have an option under posts that is specifically a testimonial post. I can’t find this anywhere. Am I missing something simple?
I am using version 3.5.9 of Virtue Premium.
Thanks!

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I do not see the review tab and the additional info tab in my single product detail page. I see Description & two custom tabs I activate from theme options -> product setting.
Where do I enable review tab and additional info tab ? I am using wordpress in multisite and in admin settings -> discussions, Allow people to post comments on new articles is checked.
Thanks.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Custom 404 – Request for this Feature in Virtue
April 16, 2016 at 11:47 pm #91072Marco, thanks for the post, I’ll add to my feature requests.
Jurgen, I think something like that where you are showing a plugins output would require a child theme so you can in some way call in the plugins results.
For 404.php file in the theme would be the one to target.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Two secondary menus
It would be several pages, actually, (please see my original post #90608). All of the commercial pages would need to hide the primary menu; this is just one of the pages Commercial Systems and all of the residential pages would need to hide the secondary menu; here is one of those pages Residential Systems. With the previous theme I used, it was done through custom fields. The site is in maintenance mode so login credentials are UN: 3WControl5; PW: 2Re_claim10
Thanks for your help!

April 15, 2016 at 6:13 pm #90981You would have to use css for that.
can you post to the page where you want to hide a menu.

April 15, 2016 at 2:54 pm #90961You can change the testimonial posts to output the full content instead of just a certain amount of words. Else you would need to use a different social plugin that gave you these options.

April 15, 2016 at 2:04 pm #90950Hey,
1. Unless you have ratings turned off you will want to post the review from the front end so you can leave a rating from the back end you would only have a comment box. I’m not sure I understand why you would want to be in the back end though?2. You can set the moderation in your wordpress discussion settings.
