    This CSS will get rid of those lines for you. Copy and paste the code from this forum to Theme Options> Custom CSS.

    .postfooterarea {
        display: none;
    }

    Let me know if that works for you!

    Hi,

    When you select “Normal post Excerpt” under every post there are two lines making a box shape. Is possible to hide this lines? especially line down with curved edges.

    Hello!

    When I view your site, all of the testimonial widgets seem to be displaying properly. Would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

    Thanks.

    Hey Martin,
    Do you mind posting a link? That way I can provide accurate css.
    Thanks!

    Hiya,

    Take a look at

    On the pages the testimonials widgets seem fine but on the sidebar and footer of posts I get a script showing?
    Can you advise?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    Can you tell me if it’s possible to add a custom field to all portfolio items that is a button which links to a specific URL?
    So below the content in a portfolio item I want there to be a button linking elsewhere, but I don’t want my client to have to add code to each portfolio post. It would be great if it was just another custom field and all the client had to do was pop in the words and URL.

    Thanks,
    Natalie

    Hi,
    I’ve built my homepage using the widgets in Theme Options –> Home Layout but I can’t work out how to control the amount of blank space between the various widgets.

    In Homepage Layout Manager I have enabled:
    – Custom Carousel (added several images as slides)
    – Page Content (just a few lines of plain text)
    – Image Menu (3 rows of 3 slides, set to Height = 140)
    – Home Widget Area (which has a ‘Visual Editor’ widget with a few paragraphs of plain text, using the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, Then a ‘Pinnacle:Recent Posts’ widget and a couple of ‘Pinnacle:Image Menu’ widgets)

    There’s no custom CSS, I haven’t changed any HTML surrounding the plain text in the editor, and I haven’t used SiteOrigin PageBuilder on this page. There are also no blank slides in the Custom Carousel or Image Menu that might throw out the spacing.

    I’d like to reduce the amount of blank space above and below the Image Menu widget in particular, as it seems too much to me. I think this might be div.home-padding.home-margin (trying to guess using the Inspect Element in Firefox)

    I’d also like to reduce the space around Page Content (might be div.homecontent.clearfix.home-margin).

    And then within the Home Widget Area a big chunk of space gets inserted around the Visual Editor widget, yet the space between Pinnacle:Recent Posts and the Pinnacle:Image Menu widgets is nice and tight, but I can’t work out what div this might be.

    Is there a way to adjust these spacings with some custom CSS?

    Thanks for the response. Permalink settings are:
    Common – Post Name
    Product Permalinks – Default (https://test.holdsterit.com/product/sample-product/)

    Should Product Permalink be set to: “Shop base with category” (https://test.holdsterit.com/shop/product-category/sample-product/)

    Please advise, thanks.

    1. If you go to Theme Options> Main Settings> Header Style> Choose header style, you can select Center Logo Menus on Sides, you can enable two primary menus. There are a few options as to how your menus will display as well.

    2. This can be accomplished with some CSS. Try using this CSS and let me know if it works for you. Copy and paste the code from the forum to Theme Options> Advanced Settings.

    .home section#cat_nav {
        display: none;
    }

    If that CSS doesn’t work, then post a link to your site and I’ll be able to give you the correct code.

    Hey Judy,
    Using a shortcode is going to be your best bet here. You can use a default template page and add your content into the visual editor as normal then add a shortcode like this below it: [portfolio_posts orderby=date excerpt=false columns=4 items=4 height=200 lightbox=true showtypes=true cat=photos]
    Hope that helps!

    Here is some shortcode that will allow you to place a latest blog section on your page.

    Give it a try and let me know if this is what you want!

    [blog_posts orderby=date items=2 word_count=30]

    #90530

    I am using the default page option and it should show there and it’s not showing the sidebar options when I am creating a new page. I have just gone back to my backup before the update and it is still doing the same thing. It normally shows above the call to action section where the mouse icon is in this pic No Sidebar Options

    is there a way i can give you access to the site so you can see for yourself?

    #90524

    Is there a short code recreating “latest blog post” feature found when using home page layout tool?

    Looks like in your single portfolio post settings you need to set the layout to three rows.. not above.
