Hey,
There is no way to turn comments off based on which page they are shown on. And there is no connection between the pages comment settings and the posts. If you have some posts that you do not want comments on then you would have to manually turn them off on a page by page basis.

I am using the Inspect Element Tool on Safari and for the “Logged in as Admin. Logout?”, all it is showing is “p”, so I used the style attribute “p.logged-in-as”:

p.logged-in-as {
font-style: italic;
}

The above did not seem to work and I ended up with text displaying in a different font-family on the entire blog page post, then the entire site, so ended up removing the above code.

I have an extension loaded into chrome which enlargens all images … works fine everywhere in wordpress except on the blog grid post pages … cannot see why the images there are not being enlarged

Hey,
The theme doesn’t change any of what wordpress core adds. Updating won’t cause any issue. You will want to regardless for security reasons. The update to images is for how they are adding in pages and posts (this works now). Eventually they will be added to images like featured images for blog posts (sections that the theme creates) This is coming and I’m just still working out all the issues.

Edge is the worst so it wouldn’t surprise me if they have some crazy bug but I’ve not heard of this.

With a link I can make sure something isn’t conflicting.

Ben, thanks a bunch for the reply. Between the time I posted and now I actually did use one of my <h> codes to alter the size. The speed attribute is something I can use to slow things down a little.

If you would consider adding a pause after the sentences that would certainly be a helpful option for me or anybody else who uses that shortcode as a “secret message” like I’m doing.

One other thing I ran into was the animation bumping the page text up and down if it wraps. I think I can fix this if I put it in a container of a fixed size.

I tried that but the carousel didn’t seem to show up as the image based slider from the blog style demo.. And I didn’t see an area edit it? It had excerpts from the posts next to the images instead of the clean image by image of the demo style.

You can make a page using a defualt template then using page-builder add a carousel widget to the page which has a post option. Is that what your thinking?

Hey,
1. You can use css to force to a size but I would recommend uploading at the size you want. If you can post a link I can tell you the css though.

2. Aligning center is possible just post a link so I can see what height the css should be.

3. There isn’t a way to make it always scrolling sorry,
