Topic: Feature Image Not Showing
Hi there,
Do you mind taking a look at the most recent post on my home page on “Flytographer”. For some reason the feature image is not showing even though it is showing to me as set. Thank you. *Login to see link .

1. Looks like that’s your image caption. If you got to Media from the admin panel and edit the image do you see that written in the caption tab?2. Try adding this css:

In your admin panel you should see a Staff tab. Click that then click Add New. Be sure to give each staff member a featured image. The Staff Grid template will pull the featured image from each staff post.

guess you are looking for “breadcrumbs” 🙂
You can enable those in your Theme Options > Breadcrumbs
… and choose where you want them to show, like Pages, or Blogposts, etc.if you need further assistance please also provide a link to the site.

I’ve searched through the forum for this topic and have found some previous answers, but they don’t make sense.
I need to create staff posts and am following the Staff Grid Page Template tutorial. I’ve created a page and have set its template to Staff Grid with 3 columns, etc. Now for the puzzle: how do I get any content in there? I’m supposed to make posts but where does that happen? If I go to Posts under the Dashboard and say Add New it goes into the Blog.
I tried pasting photos and text directly into the edit box, but all this does is create a longer and longer list which never breaks up into nice little boxes.

Tabby.css is not from the theme either is the class you mentioned above. What tab plugin are you using? If you trying to style it you may need to contact the plugin author. For sure at least post a link and we can see if we can help with the plugin styles.Ben

If you set the home page to be the latest post page in your settings > reading then you can enable “page content” instead of “latest posts” to show the blog post. With page content you can have them show as a list.
Or you can use a shortcode to add posts:

I would like to display my video blog posts on the home page and I want the video image to display as it does here *Login to see link But it seems the only way to get a blog post to display with an image on the homepage is to add a featured image.
Is there a way to have the video show on the homepage?

This most likely means your javascript is not correct. Where are you getting this from? Can you post a login so I an see how you are adding it?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIs there a way to keep my clients as authors but give them capability of moderating comments. As admin I’m the only one right now and would prefer the authors who are my clients to moderate their posts and comments both. The editor role does that and much more. Would prefer my clients don’t have access to deleting pages, files, changing layout/design, etc. Any ideas beside changing their role to editor?

I’ve been trying to fix the padding on my “Posts” and “Portfolio” for mobile devices. The issue seems to be that there is additional default padding to the left and right of the body content for Posts and Portfolios, yet this default padding does not exist for Pages (which I prefer). I don’t like the extra gap that is making content very narrow on Posts and Portfolios when viewing on smartphones.

No, and I really am trying. It must be in the translating because this isn’t a real sentence: “so for example i have a page pictures but i have a blog side on my website i whant to show that pictures page within the blog side”
And what I’m trying to perceive from that makes no sense based on what you have said. It might be best if you speak dutch just to post a nice long and detailed explanation in dutch then let me use a translate tool.
Else posting a link with an example would be helpful.
I’ve read through your posts 10 times and my best guess is that for some reason you want to place a gallery which you have added into a page also into a post but what I don’t understand (if that is the case) is why you wouldn’t just add the gallery into the post. Why would you be wanting to loop a page content into a post? If my guess is somehow correct then you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/pagepost-content-shortcode/

Hey! In order to get your header to stay in place like on the demo site, you’ll simply want to go to
Theme Options> Main Settings> >Header Style> and turn Enable Sticky Header to the ON position.
This CSS that I found on another post seems to do the trick for adding arrows to the drop down menus.

This is really where the issue is “186 errors were detected in the table « wp_postmeta”I suggest on your local site you to a database repair in the php-admin. Then try using the duplicator plugin (It is the best method.)
