In reply to: Fixed Sidebar for products during scrolling
January 25, 2016 at 10:27 am #77606Hey,
This isn’t something the theme adds. And because your sidebar is so long not something I would suggest. You can look at adding a plugin but I’m not aware of one that does this well. You can certainly try to implement what the tutorial suggest but this isn’t something that support can do for you. see support policy: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/support-policy/?view=allBen

January 25, 2016 at 10:23 am #776032. You are adding this css:
@media (min-width: 1200px) { a.select2-choice { width: 365px; } }Please remove that.
3. You are adding this?
.products div.product { margin-bottom: 100px; }Why? please remove that.
4. I don’t see a blue so you can add this and change the color to what you want :
.sidebar .widget-inner .menu li a { padding:0 5px; display: block; } .sidebar .widget-inner .menu li a:hover { color: white; background: blue; display: block; }5. Get good hosting. That accounts for most hacks. Use a security plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/sucuri-scanner/
Use strong passwords. Limit what plugins you use and make sure they are well coded plugins.Ben

January 25, 2016 at 9:47 am #77587Hi Ben,
I don’t actually have a Home Page set in my Pages, I only have two things enabled in my Home Layout and that’s Image Menu, then Latest Posts. I also have the Sidebar Widget as well.
Should I create a homepage and will that substitute the “Latest Post” module?
Right now, when I remove “latest post” from the Home Layout – the entire area is blank.
Thank you!

In my case I use WooCommerce and WC Vendor.
That means a user with a role as vendor can create a product. A product post is just another type of post type. If the meta options is available, vendor can change the layout of a single product page, for example: by adding a sidebar. But I want every single product page don’t have a sidebar.
This is where I find the problem.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Sidebar plugin issue

Hello,
I’m using woosidebars plugin to create different sidebars.
This works well as long as I am using a single language.
Although I can translate the sidebars in WPML, they dont show up in the second language, and it goes to the default sidebar. If I set them in the second language ….they disappear from the first language …
Could this have something to do with the theme? I have asked a query in WPML too and am waiting for their response.
Also there seems to be a bug in the Woocommerce product search widget. Even if you remove the title from the widget, it tends to show up. Could this be linked to WPML sync or something …. I have noticed if I refresh the widget page at times, it again shows up in all my widgets, although I have manually removed all the Search Titles just a few minutes before.
Your help would be appreciated.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Image Menu on Homepage
Thanks Ben and Kevin. I have used the Text Widget to create a title, but now still have the problem of the order of the page. Ideally, I need the Image Menu item below the Portfolios on the Home Page. Is there a way of doing this? I can’t share the website as it’s on localhost at the moment. In summary what I am trying to achieve in the main body of the page is the order of Text, then below this Portfolios, then below this Image Menu (Headers/footers, sidebars etc around all of this). Any ideas would be very gratefully received! Thanks!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Product Category me
Hi,
I wonder if you might have some css-tricks, etc, for the Product Category menu (that is placed in the product category widget)I seek for a solution to mark the category/subcategory that is chosen for the moment – to have it marked in bold and color it.
And also not showing all subcategories at the same time, but only the active part.The page is: solarieshop . se
Best regards
FredrikI found this to create indent for sub categories, which works great:
.sidebar ul.children {
padding-left: 15px;
}Hi, I use a child theme of Pinnacle Premium.
I would like the background of the text of certain specific pages, including the home page, to be white like if it was an image of a letter signed by someone, and the other to be light grey. The sidebar on those pages need to remain light grey.
If I do nothing, all the pages and the sidebar have a light grey background, which is fine.
To modify certain pages, I went in Advanced Styling -> Body Background -> Post Background and select color #ffffff. Now, all my pages text section (excluding the sidebar) have a white background except my home page. Not what I am looking for, as I want this just on certain pages..
How can I achieve a white background on just certain pages, like page id 5, and on the home page? The best would be to also have the top and the bottom of the “letter” to be also light grey as the rest of the page as if it was a “letter” showed, but I can do without.
Thanks!In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Product Category menu

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: fullwidth feature image
Dear Hannah and Ben,
I tried both options but they do not seem to work. Check for yourself
1. feature sidebar page template and you have the feature options set to image you should be able to make it fullwidth with this css: http://bailalma.com/test-feature-sidebar/
2. pagebuilder inside your portfolio post and add a full – stretched row and place an image in that: http://bailalma.com/test-stretched-row/Both pages use an image that is 1920 × 372 px just for tesing purpose.
Please let me know what you think.
Greetings
Fabrizio

sorry to be annoying Hannah and Ben, I’m a beginner and this is all new to me.I added a sidebar through home layout but it hasn’t changed anything. Sorry to be annoying
This is what our current site looks like when people visit from their phone or ipad with simple buttons to select options. Is this something that I can set up on this site with your theme?

January 21, 2016 at 10:56 am #77008OK, I see, you have added a sidebar to the page using page builder. Because page builder moves to one column on mobile your added sidebar is above because it’s added in the left column.
Here is what I suggest. Use your real sidebar (the widget area in appernace> widgets) as your left sidebar. You can do this using this css:
@media (min-width: 992px) { body .main.col-lg-9 {float:right;} }then in page builder add your extra column as the right sidebar and not the left. Then both sidebars will move below your content on mobile.
css can be added in your theme options > advanced settings.
