Can I add sidebars other wise then with WooSidebars, it would be no problem to deactivate it but since I upgraded to Virtue Premium 1.9.3 I only have the Primary Sidebar (used to have Sidebar1 as well) – actually I would only need two sidebars, one for the site and one for the shop.

Thank you Ben, I’ll try to deactivate WooSidebars and see what happens.

So woosidebars are different than normal sidebars. I actually haven’t tested with that plugin. You can create as many sidebars as you want in the theme options panel though?

And if a normal sidebar isn’t working on product pages my guess is it’s a conflict with woosidebars.

As for setting a default. yes you are right, gonna add in.

I have created another sidebar with WooSidebars and I would like to display it on the web shop pages.

ps. it would be helpful to have an option to select default sidebar with all the products instead of selecting on each one.

What threw me off was that after I upgraded it I checked the widgets when I noticed the problem and everything was right where it was supposed to be. That was until I logged out and logged back in again, then all of the widgets showed up as inactive. No big deal easily fixable.

Hmm, I’ll have to update, part of the css is specific to the footer or sidebar, When I added support for the home widget area I didn’t update the css. I’ll get an update out tomorrow or monday!

It didn’t delete them, it just made them inactive along with the stuff in the new Home Widget Area.

It figures as soon as I email you I see the problem. For some reason when I upgraded the theme it deleted everything in the sidebar.

Hi Ben,

I tried using the Virtue Recent Posts widget in the Home Widget Area but for some reason it doesn’t look the same as when it is in the sidebar widget or the footer widget. When its in the Home Widget Area, a bullet comes before the image post and the spacing becomes off.

Can you please advise? I used it with the latest version of Virtue and WordPress 3.8.

It’s showing that it’s loading but there isn’t anything in the primary sidebar widget area… can you check that then send me a temp login so I can see.
