    thanks for all the help.

    What I’m doing is creating a Base Virtue Premium wordpress site that I want to clone to another client.
    Meaning it has all my standard plugins and such in there, and a base styling of Virtue Premium which is a version of DEMO COPY 1 or two I forget.

    Anyway, is it better to do it with plugins, like DUPLICATOR and then Better search and replace.

    Or go totally OLD SCHOOL and use FTP and then FEARFULLY dropping into phpmyadmin and trying to change the tables and the URL ETC
    and then changing the config.

    Seems should be OK to do the first one.
    I’m really working to make sure you have more licenses as gratitude for all the support.

    Hi,

    I’m doing some profiling on my site, and the theme appears to be adding a large delay to my page load times (compared to the likes of TwentySixteen, which, yes, isn’t as pretty… but is objectively faster)

    My setup is fairly lightweight – theme, WooCommerce, bbPress, main menu and mobile menu (the same actual menu, though) with about 2o items, and a few images.

    One query which seems to be run on every page load is SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROMwp_options, and this is taking approximately 0.25 seconds each page load.

    It also appears to be updating the Options table regarding Woocommerce_enable_lightbox following this query, which appears too to be another slow database call.

    These queries aren’t run when using another theme, which of course means a lesser delay in page loading.

    Any insight you can provide into this or a code optimisation will be greatly appreciated!

    I was using the Free theme prior to the Premium theme, and I can’t find any Theme Options in Premium regarding the WooCommerce lightbox – might this be a hang-over from using the Free theme?

    1. You can’t and shouldn’t choose 0. (that would break things in wordpress) If you don’t want an excerpt just add this css:

    .postlist .entry-content {
    display: none;
}

    2. In your theme options > site header you can define a default for yes to transparent or no. If you have it on then it will be one for categories.

    You can set what colors you want the transparent header to have right there.

    In your theme options > page title area you can set the default background (currently you have it set to be transparent).

    Finally you can edit the category and set specific stuff for each category in the edit page.

    On the website I have an issue with my menu becoming too compressed at the 992px media width breakpoint. I’m looking for advice on how to alleviate this. I am concerned with too much upheaval of the core CSS for fear of update conflicts. Thanks for your help!

    I had to work on the website as new.alarch-skylights.com as advised by my webmaster (server) since we had an old website and kept it up until today.

    We redirected the old website to the new which is now called: http://www.alarch-skylights.com but there are still pages that contain new..

    The webmaster pointed me to these references via unix search:

    In my blog page, I added a row and a Categories Widget.
    However, the Widget is not centered in the page.
    Even I chose 1, 2, 3 ou 4 columns.
    How can I center this widget?
    I tried to find some option to center it, but I did not found.

    And how can I delete the widget title/name “Categorias” ?

    Not with the way your site is configured. You would have to change your body font through Theme Options> Typography Settings to black in order for it to effect the text, and that would effect your entire site.

    Another option would be to change the background of your contact forms to be black or a darker color so that your text is visible, but that too would require a bit of CSS.

    Hi.

    My website is

    I have two issues in this subject.

    The first one is related to the Post excerpt length.
    When I choose one category, I have the Featured image, Autor Logo, Info about post and the Post excerpt.
    In Theme Options -> Blog Options -> Blog Category/Archive Defaults I chose Normal Post excerpt. I like the the configuration, except the length of excerpt text.
    I don’t want any text.
    In Post Excerpt Length section, the minimum is 20 words.
    How can I choose Zero words? No excerpt text (but the same configuration).

    The second one is related with Page Title, Menu, Logo.
    For each post, I select the option “Hide Page Title” in Blog Page.
    How can I do the same for pages when I select one category.
    Explanation: When I select one category to see all posts related to that category, I don’t see the menu.
    And it will be interesting if it’s possible to see the Page Title with the name of chosen category.

    That’s odd. It works on my test site. Are you adding it with the quotation marks? If so, you should remove them.

    If you have already done that, then could you place the mailto address back into the button’s link attribute so I can see how it’s behaving?
    Also be sure to clear your cache after adding the mailto link.

    I found your site through your other thread, so let me update my answer.

    1. This font will be controlled via Theme Options> Typography Settings> H4. If you want to be more specific, then you can use CSS to effect only that one h4 element. Let me know if you want to go that route and I’ll update the CSS.

    2. The above answer still applies and should work on your site.

    It depends on how the item height is set for each of those widgets. If it’s set by image, then this CSS wont work. If it is set by a fixed height, then you can use this.

}

    This will go into Theme Options> Custom CSS. If you can post a link to your site, that will be helpful in determining the best way to solve this for you.

    Im using a kadence slider as a header and within the page we use also a kadence slide.
    But when you look at the page the slide from within the page is cropped.
