    Topic: Virtue theme has failed

    Hi there

    I have used Virtue on so many sites and it has never let me down. All of a sudden, today (launch day) it is consistantly causing an HTTP500 error on a site hosted at GoDaddy Managed WordPres site. WordPress itself seems to be working fine as I am able to work within dashboard, no problem.

    Before uninstalling/reinstalling the theme, I deactivated all plugins. Still the same error message. But the site displays using the default WP themes (for example twentysixteen, twentyfifteen) but not with Virtue.

    This is very frustrating, not to mention embarrassing as it is Launch day and the site has been working perfectly for months. PLEASE HELP!

    Hi
    I am using the primary and secondary menus for two different areas of my website. I would like to be able to hide the primary on several pages and hide the secondary on the other pages. I have all the page IDs and have used .page-id-214 #nav-seond { display:none; } to hide the secondary menu and .page-id-267 #nav-main { display:none; } to hide the primary menu. I’ve tried doing a comma delineated list to add more pages, without success. Is there a way to do this without repeating the above for every page? I’m using the Virtue Premium theme and my URL is

    Hey,
    The error shows that you already have a folder called “revslider” in the plugins area but it’s not updating so this would mean that it’s possible that folder is empty and was just not removed from something else.

    You would need to access your site through a web file manager like through cpanel. Then you would go to wp-content/plugins/ and remove the “revslider” folder then reinstall.

    Hello supporter,

    I bought a virtue premium and never use any coding on wordpress plaform(I don’t know how to use coding too)

    I set up head content as carousel slider in post option but the result didn’t turn it as I wish.

    The page keep running, didn’t shows the image. It happened on those page, kindly assist the action, urgently needed thanks. The site can’t really work now.

    Hello

    On my site ostlyngbjerke.no
    I am displaying a portfoliocarousel on my front page.

    I would really like the images in this carousel to align/ show from the top ogf the image (i.e. the head of the people) in stead of centering the images.
    Is this possible?

    I’m trying to add a Google Map to my site and am having problems with the heading in the marker’s info box. I’ve used the following CSS to change the text colour, but the heading is unaffected. Can anyone help?

    Hi there,

    I keep getting this message on the WordPress admin site:

    Your theme (Virtue – Premium) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

    How can this be fixed please? Will you be updating your theme?

    Hey,

    i tried to implement an SVG Logo for the pinnacle theme on the website:
    Because there have been security issues, i installed the wordpress plugin (
    I was able to upload the SVG to wordpress. But when I try to use them as theme logo nothing is showing up.

    Any suggestions?

    I need to update the email address associated with my API license key, which is defunct… I updated my account email but the API key email doesn’t change. Is there another way to edit that on the My Account section of your support site?

    That means your max memory is 268mb.

    That should be plenty on most sites but I know nothing about the plugin your using and how much it needs.

    Either way most likely you need to set the memory limit inside wordpress to match the server. add this to the wp-config.php file.

    For precision, in portfolio item page, I use Pagebuilder to create a page title. But the siteOrigin Page builder option does not display in the body container of a Portfolio type page.

    Are you adding the api Key and the email that was set up with the Kadence Themes account?

    Can you one of you send a temp login using Set as private reply, I’d be happy to take a look.

    Good morning Hannah,

    Please help! I called GoDaddy last night and they have increased my php memory to 1024 megs but it has not changed anything. I tried to contact the WC Fields Factory plugin creators but I have not heard back from them yet.

    Using this plugin, I basically preset the select size menu sizes to carry over for all new products being created in all categories. I recall that I was also able to choose which categories to exclude the menus from showing up, but the plugin has encountered this “Fatal Error” due to lack of memory, and I can’t access those settings within the plugin to make any changes.

    The same issue also affected another plugin I rely on greatly called WC Gold Price, but I was lucky to be able to find a workaround for that. The plugin creators did not help and GoDaddy could not do much either.

    All I want to do is to finish adding the products in the final category (Tungsten Carbide) which happen to have different size availability than all of the other 1500+ items I have added. This issue is not allowing me to finally finish the site’s product entries so I can finally launch it.

    Hi Ben,

    I am in the process of doing some Search Engine Optimization and would like to improve my upload time.

    Based on some presentations from Google, they prefer an upload time of 1 second or below.

    I have measured the upload time of my site and it can take somewhere from 4 – 9 seconds to upload.

    I know there are many factors that can influence the upload time but is there any way for me to optimize the upload time by making some changes to my settings and configurations of Virtue Premium Theme?

    Something strange happened today. We had problem with the site and the pages went blank. I then deactivated the plugins via FTP. I managed to get the site back up and I started to activate the plugins one by one. I activated Woocommerce, but the category pages just wouldn’t show up. I have checked in the menus and the URL seems to be ok. The product pages in Woo are working just fine. Any idea what might have happened and do you have a “cure”?

    (The category pages are the ones in the lower menu, e.g. “Display & expo”)

    Hello Ben,
    The “Orange” menu icon appears when you view the site with small browser width, then open up the menu drop-down then scroll down << at first the menu icon appeared as set in the primary color but suddenly after you scroll down it turns orange.
    I don’t know how to post picture in this but I also wish to change that orange color as well.
