Hi there,

What I am after is a site where, say, five horse videos per day were posted. I would have 6-7 categories.

So I what I want to be able to do is just paste in the url of the video – mostly from YouTube – and it would populate the video, title, description etc. automatically.

I have investigated several plugins but they are clunky and or don’t work very well. Should I just build a template for the posts in Virtue? Has anyone used a good plugin with Virtue for this purpose? Other ideas?

I am after something that is really quick to do on a daily basis – just post a video url in a post and save, if possible.

Your WooCommerce thumbnail size is set in WooCommerce> Settings> Products> Display.

You can control the size of it there.

I have them set to 75×75 and have the hard crop feature enabled and they display well on my demo site.

I’m trying to make images as exact as possible, from what they look like in the editor, to what appears on the website.

One issue I’m seeing, that is affecting the placement of images and objects around there, is the padding images receive.

Looking at Google Inspect Elements, I’m seeing the biggest culprit is this:

[class*=wp-image] {
display: block;
/* padding: 10px; */
margin: 0;
line-height: 20px;

Where the padding of 10px is a nuisance.

What do I need to add to the Advanced CSS in order to get rid of the padding? All the other settings seem fine, it’s just that padding I need be rid of. 🙂

He has added in a image when I inspect the element its called virtue_banner but I cannot find this in the options menu.

Can someone please help before I rip someones head off!

I hate to say it, but I find Virtue pull-quotes a tad…lackluster. But that’s the first time I’ve seen that with any Virtue function!

I just want the quotes to ‘pop’ more. With virtue, you can hardly see them. But with ‘Simple Pull Quote’ plugin, they really stand out.

Preferably, I’d like the pull quotes to be in squares that float on the side (that’s what Simple Pull-quotes offer.) But actually, if that wasn’t possible with virtue, I’d be happy just having two quotation marks (one to open and one to close) and changing the colour to my sites red (#89291a).

Is that a simple thing to do you think?

Hi Jesper,

1. The search menu function only works with the default header style (Theme Options > Site Header). If you wanted to use a child theme we could give you code to hook this function into the right menu.

2. The recent posts widget was built more for a sidebar or footer. I would suggest enabling the Latest Blog Posts from Theme Options > Home Layout.

3. If you use the Home Image Menu from Theme Options > Home Layout there is already an option to change the font color.

Can you pls assist me with the 3 following queries.
I would like to make narrower the submenu view dropdown in the topbar menu, so it does not take up that much space can you help me plse
I am also using slider revolution, and would like to remove the topbar menu,logo and icons menu, from my landing page but want them displayed when I enter the site.
I would also like the logo to be 2-3 Px lower, aswel as have some writing next to the logo, is this possible?

My website looks great on my laptop but when looking at it on a larger screen I noticed the header,footer and kadence slider were all full size but the portfolio and icons are smaller, could you please take a look and advise of some CSS to make the website look identical on a larger screen.

I’ve just begun building my second wordpress site and using Pinnacle this time. However I have a few problems.

I have manually added a revolution slider to each of my home pages ( not thru theme options) , one in english and one in dutch.
I haven’t used wpml to translate them.

As usual, there is a little bit of default white space below my sliders.
Could you please give me the css to remove it?

Hey Steve,
1. I’m not seeing a topbar on your site? Regardless, this css should work to remove from only the homepage:

.home #topbar {
    display: none;
}

2. There isn’t an option for this, sorry. In Theme Options > Slider Settings you can move the slider above the header if that works for you!
