Hy there,

As you can see some products from my website have a discount marker (in can be seen in the top left corner of a product immage-a pink square with “Promotie” written over it). Is there a way to create a page that automaticly adds and removes these products (if annother discounted product is added to the site it’s immediately added to the “Discount page” or if a product doesn’t have a discount anymore it will be automaticly removed from the “Discount page”)?
Furthermore i want the products on the page to be shown in grid view with 4 products/images on a row.

Hi!

Searched the forum but couldn’t find anything on this.

I want to display different Portfolio Types in the navigation but can’t figure out how to do it.
You obviously get to create a slug for each type but the slug only generates a 404 for me.

Should the URL look like this:
website.com/portfolio/portfolio-type
or
website.com/portfolio-type
?

Hi Ben,

Thanks very much. I am using a ‘Site Origin Editor’ widget to place my Contact form 7 entry at bottom of page. I turned this to text view and added Google conversion tracker at bottom. This is correct?

Hi Ben, I’ll show you a couple pieces of code I’ve tried. They’re pretty much wild guesses based on a few examples I found online of people who wanted to add custom fields within shortcodes (other shortcodes, not accordions) to their templates. Method #1 breaks my website whereas Method #2 produces an accordion with nothing in it.

Oh! Haha, I never thought of that!

Since you told me that I have to backup all my settings, then upgrade to Premium and reinstall the backup, I realised I’d have to set aside a whole day, just in case something went wrong and my site fell apart, a free day which I haven’t had yet.

For sure, as soon as I have that free day, I’ll upgrade and will then input this script.

Ok, movnig from html site to a wordpress site you may want to consider using some templates to be able to write with code.
But really most people move to wordpress so they can get away from coding.
Using things like pagebuilder or the virtue shortcodes. And items like the modal in the “virtue shortcodes” all allow you to do the same things without you having to write any js or html.

Might be worth considering.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the reply. I’m cleaning it up right now and got rid of most of the mess. I’m importing the code from a html/css site and never used WordPress before. I’m catching hell understanding all these plugins, etc. :-). The DIV’s work fine without WordPress. I’ll have it all done by 10:00PM.

I can not get the activation code but i can use it, right?

– Yes, activation is only for direct customers.

Can i update it?

Updates come through the theme. So for example update the theme to 3.5.5 and you can go to apperance > theme recommended plguins and there update to the latest version.
If you are using a version pre 3.4.0 then you will need to manually update: https://www.kadencewp.com/manually-updating-a-theme/

should be buy the activation code?

If you want direct licensing and there direct customer items but that’s up to what you want.

Without activation code can i use it always

Hey,
About 3 months ago we switch update api because our previous provider stopped responding to emails. There was about a month where you could update from within the dashboard and then you would have had the newer versions of the theme that looked to the new api. Then the old API went offline. Since your so far back and you’ve not updated when that was taking place your using a version that is looking at an api that is offline for it’s updates. So that’s why you need to manually update. Takes about 2 minutes. The tutorial above should explain. Let me know if you have trouble or if you prefer I can update your site for you if you send a login.

When I look at your site I don’t see the woocommerce search widget? There is a built in one with woocommerce. It looks like you’re using a different plugins?

I think I fixed it so a link would no lnger show the space. I used something Hanna posted for another kind of slider and it seems to have worked for the cyclone slider as well. I just thought that it would have been tight to the menu anyways?? Below is what I added.
