Lets try some testing.
Have you tried deactivating other plguins?

Because the footer isn’t there it seems to mean that your site is crashing at some point in the page. So could be that your hitting a max limit in the hosting.

Have you checked with your host and looked at error logs?

If you right click and choose to view source what is the last line of your source text.

The latest version of the theme in your account is 3.5.4 (you can update to 3.5.5 in the admin of your site).

The slider plugin version is not the same as the theme.

It’s impossible for you to have had version 4.6.4 of the theme, that hasn’t been created yet.

The slider however is on version 5.2

You can update the slider as soon as you have the latest version of the theme

Just go to apperance > theme recommended plugins.. There you will see an option to update.

Hi Hannah,

I figured that it was inheriting the color from the global body text color from the typography section. The issue is that my global body text is suited for a black or very dark bg color which is the bulk of my site, however the bg color of the Google Maps address “text bubble” is a very light or white color. So essentially I get light text on a light background and it doesn’t work well visually.

Hi, I had to go to a backup of my site. Now that it is recovered, my primary menu is acting like there are large margins on either side. I want them to stretch across the page.

I do not want to make the fonts smaller.

Is there a way to make that line with the logo and primary menu stretch across the page so it won’t put “contact me” and the search icon on a second line?

Greetings, I am having an issue with a Shortcode that I am inserting into a product page that utilizes the Google Maps feature. When I add the map to the page, the address is displayed in a font color that is too light to read well. I have had a lot of problems with this because it seems that Pinnacle was not designed for a dark background themed site like mine. I have been making a considerable amount of CSS edits to fix this problem, however, the CSS to change the highlighted address on a the Google Maps Shortcode has left me with a problem.

When I change the color, it affects the copy text as well. I do not know how they are being connected, but I have two screenshots that you can use to see the problem that is occurring. “How can I get the address text to change color without affecting the body text as well?”

Also, I recall being able to attach screenshots here in the past, was that feature removed?

The issue is happening under the “Location Tab”, click on the dropped pin and the text bubble will appear with the text that is too light to read against the background color of the text bubble.

I’m not seeing a home carousel on your site. Do you mean the portfolio posts? If so, this css should work:

UPD: there are 2 version of each image available for simple product page. one is simple, and 2nd is ‘@2x’ for retina display, it is seems. But as i can see in the html code now, web site gives us usual version for Retina, not @2x. Think this is a problem. So my question is still actual for me. Please guys if you have any ideas let me know how to fix this

Hello Ben,

I’ve tried two different ways thinking I had the right password, but to no avail. I’ve read the FAQ about the username and password. It states that the password of the localsite is the password to use for the new site. I am using it. I have closed down the local site and I am able to reopen it. I’ve checked, many time, in keychain access the username and password. It is again the same one I am using on both sites. I have a minimum of 10 times tried to get past this login and I am out of ideas. What can possibly be wrong? I haven’t restarted the Mac Pro for a day or two for fear of the worse, but I will restart it and see what happens.The whole process seems so simple but the outcome is not that. Perhaps you have some ideas?

I see what you’re talking about now. It’s definitely slightly blurred, but I honestly couldn’t tell when I first viewed your page.

I checked on my test site, and it appears that the same thing is going on there. It must be some compression that the plugin/theme does to each image in your product page, but I haven’t been able to find any information about it.

The theme developer will have more insight when he sees this thread.

I tried to deactivate ALL the plugins. Site fast again.
Reactivated plugins I use, site works fast.

What happened ? I don’t know 🙂
