Hi,

I have been trying to make the site fill the full page and have done this on the theme options>main settings but it still has alot of white space on either side of the screen.

Sure, Can you post a link to the site? you would just need to adjust the css so there is less padding between each item.

Sorry again for been a pain. The menu on one of the sites I’m creating is spanning onto 2 lines and I dont want this. Is there anyway how I can change the CSS so this does not happen?

Hi everyone,

Sorry to be a pain again! I’m juggling 4 freelance projects at the moment to help me to get a grad job as a web developer.

One of the sites that I’m doing the client wants a list of all employers with the company, where you can click either on the photo or the name and it takes the user to a portfolio/ bio page.

I just want to know how I can do this? Is there a plugin in that can help me to do this? Is the plugin advanced custom fields plug in will help?

I just deactivate Ithemes security wordpress plugin which should protect my site. And now it works. You know if i need a protecting plugin for my site in wordpress tho?

Seems in your setting for the site you have the site url set with no www. It’s important that you follow that throughout everything your doing.

Hey there.

I dont know if it is your theme that is getting in trouble with my sitemap created by google yoast. But suddenly i couldn’t see my sitemap anymore.
I use W3Cache, and have seen my sitemap also with this.

the sitemap is http://www.altdetbedste.dk/sitemap_index.xml really hope that you can help me getting build up my sitemap again so my SEO wont get too bad.

It only show 6 of my pages if i go into the html code for the site.

Hey,
Yes that is your mobile and desktop. Because it’s under display:none it’s not going to effect your SEO negatively. (not that two menus really would it’s quite common for that in sites).

Hi,
the website reference *Login to see link and the issue is that you can see on the home page bottom i hace added vedio clips (with the embeded codes) of you tube, vemio etc, so when press the play button the video plays with the screen size mention in the vedio clip slides but when you try to make it full size the screen flickers and the video disappear with blank window. in order to put the video clips i have used the Custom Carousel option in the theme.
is their any solution to fix this, thank you in advance for your support.

Hi just looking at my source code, I se that the horizontal menue appears twice in code, I have messed around with my template, but after looking at this site, I see yous ite also ahs the menu appear twice in the source code.

Im thinking this will have a negtive impace on SEO? because I now have twice as many liks going to the same pages.

Im cnot concerned about the links but more the text in the links appearing twice to google, messsing up my keyword frequeny.

I looked at your site,ad mine with google cache and see that it is the same for this site,

Is there a way to an if else or serve up a different version that dosent display the menue twice. Im assuming its one for regular browser, and one for mobile??

I have been trying to improve the page speed of my website the past few days. One of the steps google page speed insights suggests, is to Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content. I have little to no knowledge in coding so I tried a couple plugins to accomplish this. They didn’t seem to work, so I deleted them and kept searching for ways to do this.

Today I have discovered that *Login to see link seems to not be loading JavaScript and is causing the site to look weird.
Here is the http:// version for reference: *Login to see link

I have no idea if the plugins I tried using are the culprit to this problem or not.

Looking at the code it seems to me that all the code that involves javascript looks like this:

<script src="*Login to see link type="text/javascript"></script>

isn’t working because it specifies http:// instead of https://
Like I said I don’t know what I’m talking about but according to this *Login to see link I need to make the links relative.

How would I go about doing this if that is the correct way to fix this issue.

Hey,
1. When you build a slider using the revolution, Kadence or cyclone slider you are given a “shortcode” that you can place into any page content area and it will show that slider.

Please can you give me more details as to what you mean with the slider deactivating?

2. If your wanting a german site then you need to first set the language in your settings > general to german. Once you do then wordpress will give you the option to download the german language files for wordpress and it will start looking for the german language files for the theme.

You can edit the language files all you want using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

Do no go an make a new installation of wordpress, yes that would indeed start you all over.
