1. This is something that would have to be done via a child theme and edits on the php files of your site. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to locate the correct area to get the slider to speed up on my demo site, but I am sure that this is not a built in feature of the theme.

2. This is something that you would also need to dig into the php files to accomplish. The default template is where the options you’re seeing are coming from, so as it is, you’ll have to just make sure that each post’s options are matched to what you’d like them to be.

Is there a way to make some static pages on the site only visible to people who have logged in? I realize a user can create an account that can used with the WooCommerce for shopping, but I’m also wondering if it can give them access to additional pages only visible to those logged in.

Hi Hannah
Well…I’ve tried many many different ways, and plug ins. Currently I’m using the Post Meta Video Widget.
And now that the post options are there, I’m selecting everything Kevin told me to. (anything that can be set to video, lol)

I added that video image to try and placate my client..but we want the video to appear and play automatically.

I’m sure one problem is that I’m forced to choose a video source, and it’s none of the sources on the list. It’s just a link from a new website.

Hi Hannah,

So you can see the problem, I posted a screen shot at com.iscsoftware.com/devops/. It looks great when playing with the size of the screen on my computer, but when I open it up on an iPad, this is what I get. This is a screen shot taken with devtools on Chrome, but it’s exactly what I see when I surf the site on my iPad.

I have had problems updating to 3.4.5 on a site currently using version 3.3.5 with wordpress 4.4.1 and child theme activated with pagebuilder updated to latest version.

Update was not showing in dashboard so I updated manually by deleting via ftp and uploading the latest version in my account. Unfortunately the home page displayed incorrectly when reactivating with duplicated, incorrectly formatted content and heading missing at top as also reported in this post: *Login to see link

I tried disabling plugins but issue remained so deleted update and reverted to 3.3.5 again from backup and the site displays normally again.

Also updates have not been showing as available in the dashboard for some time. I submitted a ticket previously about this: *Login to see link

I have a site running Virtue – PremiumVersion: 2.9.4 and want to update to the latest version but the theme update option is not available, do you have a problem with the update server or is this version too old to update automatically?
If I need to update manually whats the procedure to keep all the customisations intact.

Hi there,

Thanks. I implemented that here, but it seems that the anchor links are not behaving as instructed. I am using SiteOrigin PageBuilder and adding a text widget before the header I want to link to.

Hello Hanna,
My host is Bigrock. I have tried to resolve the issue by deleting and re-installing from dash board and from C panel too. Surprisingly it works perfectly on my other 2 sites. The only issue is with home page in artshelvez.com. It is fun to work with Vitrue and siteorigin plugin but I am missing it for my own site, other two sites are of my clients.

I have managed to restore my site after a fairly rocky time, but still have a few niggles i have to spend some time working through, part of it is being mentally out of touch with it all as have put web design and future plans on the back burner, however after updating everything i am getting this message from woocommerce ‘Your theme (Virtue – Premium) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme’
My question therefore, does this mean that i am not up to date with the premium theme? i seem to remember an overide tick box to let either woocommerce or virtue templates have priority, do i need to play with these settings perhaps to see if they affect some of the niggles i’m getting

Hi Hannah,

I smushed all the images using wp-smushit, but the page is still slow.
mywebsite/?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments, waiting time for this is 3.2 sec, html document waiting time is 3.4 sec according to pingdom.
What else could I do?

What happened leading up to this? Did you make any updates? Install any plugins? Can you post a link to your site? Your host should have back-up files. I would suggest contacting them.

Hey Jamie,

You have this in your css

that ^ isn’t css and should be removed. it’s breaking the output of your css.

You also have this css:

.website-care-plans #containerfooter {
    display: none;

and it’s missing the closing bracket. Add that in and the css hannah posted will work.

In terms of the issue with the cart. I this has to do with the ajax auto redirect to cart that is set for your products, woocommerce saves that add data in the page load so when you update cart it’s wanting to reload the add product data even through your trying to update as 0. It’s an odd issue and I can’t seem to recreate it on a local so it may have to do with some caching plugin that your running on your site. I think if you just turn off ajax cart and leave on the auto redirect you should be set. If not can you post a temp login so I can take a look at your settings?
