Hey Heather,
Since the latest version of wordpress now when you add an image to a post/page other sizes of the image are also added. see here: https://make.wordpress.org/core/2015/11/10/responsive-images-in-wordpress-4-4/

The http setting should follow whatever your setting as the site url in your settings > general for your sites url.

my website takes a long time to load, I have activated browser cache and did website compression using W3 Total Cache.
I reduced the image sizes, too. After this, I have retested the site using pingdom and it seems to have some problem but I have no idea how I could fix this…
Could you please help me with this? The shop site seems to take most time…

Yes, I have done this. And images are just not coming out right.

I did find this on WooCommerce website:

“Find out the size your theme renders thumbnails..
Since the theme you have chosen delegates how big the pictures will be, the first step to fixing any distorted image is to find the dimensions your theme renders them in.”

Hey Caroline,
Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

.siteorigin-panels-stretch.kt-panel-row-full-stretch.panel-row-style {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
}
.contentclass {
    padding-top: 0;
}
.home .contentclass {
    padding-top: 15px !important;
}

I don’t think having it on a subdomain would effect it. Did you try re-downloading? https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/
Do you have any plugins activated on your subdomain that are not on your other site?

Kind of made it worse? That does make a smaller image. But my problem is not with the size of the image so much as WHAT is in the picture.
I’m using screen shots of websites and in the lightbox, and portfolio item images they are resized, but not cropped per se. However the grid item images are cropped a lot. Is it possible to have the same image(screenshot) just a smaller version of it?
Sorry about that other link turning into that sort of display, didn’y know that would happen.

Thanks for checking. I just tried it again and now when I remove an item and go back and add another it adds both products at the same time and I can’t remove either one. I am using a Blackberry Classic using OS10. I also tried the site in the mobile device mode in the chrome developer tools and it does the same error of not removing the item when set to 0 and updating the cart. Hopefully the developer knows what is going on.

Hi, i encountered an error namely i cannot edit or view pages/posts from the dashboard, when clicking on edit or view pages it gives me a blank screen. WP log viewer shows: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted, now I use WP all import to import pages and the issues started right after however they were only temporary. I disabled all plugins …still the same, when i switch themes with all plugins running , it showed the pages and i could edit them. i have a feeling its something is in conflict between the theme and the all importer plugin. Any suggestions? website wegotego.com

You should be getting a notice in the WP-Admin area that you are missing it. I just deleted it from my test site, and immediately, I got this message, “This theme comes packaged with the following premium plugin: Kadence Slider. Plugin is not required.” on the top of the dashboard.

If you click on the links within that notification, you should be able to install again.
