A touch device doesn’t have “hover” the same way that a device with a mouse does.

I can see your site. What are you not seeing? I see the red text on hover?

You will want to add this css:

}

Keep the topbar mobile totally hidden.

Hey Gerard!

Are you using the “Virtue: Social Links” widget in your topbar? If so, you should only have to type the URL to your sites and the icon with a link should be created for you. If not, you can accomplish this via Theme Options> Top Bar Settings> click “Enable widget area in right of Topbar?” to the ON position.

Then go into Appearance> Widgets> and set Virtue: Social Links to reside in your “Top Bar Widget” Area.
There, you’ll simply copy and paste the URL from your sites.

If you want the styling of your icon menu to be changed, this should be doable via CSS. If you would like to post a link to your site, I should be able to write it out for you after you get the Virtue: Social Links widget placed.

hey,

I try to add Facebook and Google+ icons on the left of the top bar. I have two problems :

First : in the item for selecting the icons I have no problem to select the first icon. But when I try to add a second icon, in the second rectangle window, there is no “Select the icon” available (just “upload icon”, “title”, “description” ?!
Perhaps that’s a bug as if I close the tab with the site and re-open it again then I can select an icon for the second one. But impossible to add a third icon !

Second : The icons are displayed on the right near the WooCommerce items. I would like to place them on the left side close to the search item. Is it possible ?

hey,

When the mouse move over a menu (main) the background color change (green rectangle in my case). That’s Ok but when the sub-menu unwind with also a green background it comes that the width of the sub-menu rectangle is not the same as the one of the rectangle of the menu.

The site is 321fleurs.com if I am not clear enough.

Is it possible to have the same width for rectangles of the menus and sub-menus ?

Hi Hannah & Ben,

Thanks for the responses. I disabled plugins with no change. I have tried both Icons & Text options and the Original icons option with Jetpack (the latter I have on the site at the moment). These work with no problems. Ben, it is a Page but I do not have the Jetpack Publicize plugin selected for Pages. The Page uses the Blog template, which is I expect is adding the icons to each post. I will stick with the Original icons for now and open a ticket with Jetpack also.

Hey,
So theme options > footer

then you will see the footer sitewide shortcode.

Make sure you have the latest version of the theme.

You can edit rows in pagebuilder in the layout add 0 for the margin bottom.

Could you help me with a bit more styling on this? it looks good from steps 1 to 3, but on the 4th step, it changes its appearance. I have come to terms with it having to change, but i was wondering if you could help me (with steps 4-6)..

i was hoping that the images on the right would be a bit larger.. right now, they are at 80px, but i would like them to be closer to about 180px. i cant figure out how to do that without all of the content to the side being forced down..

also, is it possible to kill the links on those images? right now they link to the image page, but when that happens, it completely disrupts the process… i would like that function gone…

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion but now I am a bit short with the script memory on the server and I try not to use too much plugins meanwhile an extension.
A short time ago using site origin page builder I succeeded in introducing a contact form in a row without any plugin. But I don’t remember how and the old page has been deleted ! If you have an idea how that has been possible ….

I take the opportunity of this topic to ask you something about plugins. If I use for instance site origin page builder plugin to build a page is it necessary to maintain it activited permanently or is it possible to desactivate it after that the page has been made ?
For revolution slider plugin I guess that it has to run permanently ?

Hi Walter,

guess you are looking for “breadcrumbs” 🙂

You can enable those in your Theme Options > Breadcrumbs
… and choose where you want them to show, like Pages, or Blogposts, etc.

I would like to display my video blog posts on the home page and I want the video image to display as it does here *Login to see link But it seems the only way to get a blog post to display with an image on the homepage is to add a featured image.

Some slight issues with the contact/vcard module. The example is at this site in footer column 2.

The module seems to be oriented to a personal blog, not a commercial entity. We don’t really need mobile in this case, just fixed phone. Then add a Fax field. There is no icon for Fax I think. Then also have the option for phone to be an anchor tag with href=”tel:5555551234″, for mobile visitors to call easily.

No, and I really am trying. It must be in the translating because this isn’t a real sentence: “so for example i have a page pictures but i have a blog side on my website i whant to show that pictures page within the blog side”

And what I’m trying to perceive from that makes no sense based on what you have said. It might be best if you speak dutch just to post a nice long and detailed explanation in dutch then let me use a translate tool.

Else posting a link with an example would be helpful.

I’ve read through your posts 10 times and my best guess is that for some reason you want to place a gallery which you have added into a page also into a post but what I don’t understand (if that is the case) is why you wouldn’t just add the gallery into the post. Why would you be wanting to loop a page content into a post? If my guess is somehow correct then you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/pagepost-content-shortcode/

Hey,
The footer is designed to be in the boxed layout just like the header and there isn’t a way to change this with only css.

I was going to say you need to add a div closing tag at the top of your templates/footer.php file, but I think I thought of an easy workaround. In your theme options > footer section add this into the footer sitewide shortcode.

I am having an issue where the page titles of my site are running into the site title (missing space). For example:

<title>IdeasUrsinus College Idea Exchange</title>
<title>Idea CategoriesPhiladelphia ExperienceUrsinus College Idea Exchange</title>
