In reply to: Display Different Font Styles in Select Menu
December 10, 2015 at 11:21 pm #70918In terms of a dropdown with a select box that has different fonts showing you can do that. Everything else that the site is doing is very custom to that type of site. Woocommerce has some extensions that can help you have an input field but the layout of that would be how woocommerce output variations so it would be different.
See here for product variations: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/variable-product/
Once you have the variations added I can help with the css for the select box.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the quick reply… I’m new to WP and a lot of these terms and techniques are still unfamiliar to me. Plus, I’m worried that I may do something wrong and brake the website. I hope you can help me with this customization. I’m basically trying to get the product page personalization section to function like this site in the link below. How close or similar can we customize it to function like that? Thank you, Gary

December 10, 2015 at 3:53 pm #70873You have set the home page to be your shop page in the woocommerce settings. What you have you also used on this page to add the content? are you using pagebuilder?
Nothing happened out of the blue in terms of your htaccess sharing. YOu are loading all your content from a different url (http://moscow-monopod.ru/) (really just should’t do that). But when you do certain things won’t work unless you change the sharing policy in your htaccess. The one key for you is all icons won’t work.
Updating of files. When you update anything, wordpress, plguins, theme and don’t completely clear the minifying code you have files that are not up to date in the minified created files and thus things can be out of date on your site. You really have to be good about your caching and minify settings and clearing those things. a note that not all plugins (especially poorly coded plugins) will work if you minify the content.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Scroll issue and Mobile Menu does not collapse
Ben,
– About the home anchor: a try: I’ve inserted a text widget top of home page and inside the widget used 2 short codes, one for the anchor from “Page Scroll to id” and added into the Menu-Custom link the relationship param as explained, and another short code for the slider inside the text widget. Total 5 anchors, the Top home worked but did not scrolled smoothly, but just like a full page reload, and it did not went really at the top of the page, which is normal. So because of this, I came back to standard using the Theme Slider setting to reapply the Slider, and then not use any shortcode as described just above.
– I know by default there is an anchor ‘#top’ used by your template with the bottom right arrow on all template pages. And with this built in, it scrolls smoothly also. Currently, the Home link uses the #top anchor.
So my question is: can I reuse the same configuration as the arrow for my Home link in my Menu?
Or may be you have a good alternative?– About the script, it works well on my iPhone, and my iPad Air 2 but only in portrait. I changed the size limit by 2100 to make it running in landscape (as iPad Air2 screen width is about 2048 pixels), but no chance, it does not work. You may be have an alternative?
for info, the site is http://www.gaspard.be/www/
Thank you for your help.

December 10, 2015 at 2:49 pm #70863You would need to load these fonts on your site (understand that the more you load the slower your site would be). Then set up the variable product. Because the theme uses select2 you could change the font family in the select box with css. If you have the fonts loaded I can help with the css.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
How can I create a Select (drop-down menu) on my products page and be able to display each word in the list in a different font style? (We will be offering personalization on our site and I want shoppers to be able to visibly see the font styles (as they are on the menu) and immediately choose what what they like.
Thank you,

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Home page problem
HI,
I worked with site. Did not change anything in home page setting. But suddenly it lost its normal look. The featured products have disappeared, all the rest elements have lost the normal order and look, and the text inside became hieroglyphs instead of Russian language. Other pages look normally. Could you please help me with that? Thanks

Thanks for help…..http://fmsdigitalmedia.com/website-design/
I put the accordion back on that page and as you can see the text that is supposed to be inside the space seems to show up out side of the “put content here” area. December 10, 2015 at 12:14 pm #70832Hey,
The category filter only filters what is on the page. I does not work as a menu, it’s not designed for multi site stores. IN the theme options there should have been a description where you turned this one that explained this. You can’t use the filter for a menu you would need to use something that re-queried the store.

December 10, 2015 at 10:46 am #70805Hey,
It’s not a matter of reinstalling the theme or trying to upload the plugin again you have to remove the empty folder. Most hosts can help you with this so that would be an easy way to get this fixed else I can do it for you I would need access to your site and your server, the cpanel login.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
I have a slight problem with the portfolio_post shortcode.
When I use the code like this [portfolio_posts columns=”3″ items=”6″] (in a siteorigin row) my portfolio posts are shown in more than 3 columns (depending on the size of the screen).
On the contrary, when I use the Home Layout Manager with Portfolio Full, the behavior is as specified.Do you have any hint for me?
Thank you in advance
