    Once you have the icon in if you only want to show the icon and not the label then you can use css. Please post a link to your site so I know which menus your wanting to change and I’ll help you with the css.

    I’m looking at your site and it seems you have added 

    .select2-container .select2-choice {
    display: none;
}

    Into your theme options > advanced settings. That is your issue. Do you know why you added that?

    Hey Joya,
    I’m seeing the same background image showing in multiple rows on the site you linked to?

    There is no way to run a parallax image that keeps showing up behind images because parallax implies that the image is moving so as you scroll it’s moving off screen the other direction. Thus you can’t keep having rows showing the same image because it’s scrolled off page.

    You could set a fixed image. (not parallax) that does this but it would have to be done through a trick of adding it to the content background but then making all the rows that you want normal you would have to use the row stretched and set the background so it didn’t show the image.

    As for opacity.. this isn’t the opacity of the image it’s actually adding a semi transparent layer over the image. You can use the row option full-width stretched then using the visual editor widget you can add a “simple box” shortcode by clicking “virtue shortcodes”. That shortcode will allow you to add a color background and set the opacity of that background so you can add it over the top of your background image.

    Hey,
    First off you will want to deactivate jetpack “photon” extension. It’s slowing down your site dramatically.

    Sharing… You can’t share an image to facebook for example. You can share a page. But not just one image. (Pinterest allows you to share just an image).
    So if you want the focus of a share to be on one image then you need to use a page that is just for that one image, meaning you can’t share from a lightbox unless your plugin tells facebook where that attachment page is.. (I’m not aware of any plugins that do this.)

    So most plugins will add sharing for the gallery as a whole but not on individual images because facebook for example needs a url to share not just an image.

    Does that make sense?

    What you can do it disabled the virtue gallery in your theme options > misc settings (yes you’ll lose the gallery styling) then enabled the jetpack tiled gallery and I believe there is an option to link to attachment pages and not the Lightbox so people can click into each image and share.

    Hi, I did a search of the forums to see if anyone has had a similar problem but though there were some similar ones they weren’t quite the same, so I’ll ask:

    On my portolio-item pages the breadcrumbs do not list the portfolio grid page, only the item title, item type and home. I would like the breadcrumbs to include the portfolio grid page as well. I’m working locally and cannot provide a link to my website but the breadcrumbs look something like this:

    where the url is: website/portfolio/portfolio_item/
    the breadcrumbs are: Home>>Project Type>>Portfolio Item

    if I remove the type category from the item I get the following:

    url: website/portfolio/portfolio_item/
    breadcrumbs: Home>>Portfolio Item

    On the portfolio grid page itself it works fine, with the page recognizing its own existence:

    url: website/portfolio/
    breadcrumbs: Home>>Portfolio

    Ideally my portfolio-item page breadcrumbs would look like this:

    url: website/portfolio/portfolio_item/
    breadcrumbs: Home>>Portfolio>>Project Type>>Portfolio Item

    As far as I can tell all my theme options are set up correctly. Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Hey Jeff, I just looked at your site. Seems you are using a child theme with free version template files.. For example you have the free version template file for the font-page.php

    That is your issue. If you activate the parent theme you can see. You can’t use free theme template files to override the premium theme template files.

    What are you wanting to do on the front page? Why the child theme and the edit?

    Hey,
    The only way to have content that doesn’t load when you change to each page would be to use a ajax load of just the #content section of the page. This isn’t a built in option but here is a plugin that can make this happen: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajaxify-wordpress-site/

    I’ve had a look through the forum, but couldn’t find another posting about this. I am using html option for text-based slides within Cyclone slider. The width and height are set as I’d like them on the desktop website, but when I check on mobile, the words are cut-off as it seems the height is not adjusting for mobile. I have it set as Responsive. Any suggestions?

    Hi!

    I have a few design-issues concerning Virtue Premium and Woocommerce compatibility on my site nya.vattenliv.nu:

    1. The “Sale!”-label in the top-corner of the product-images, ( How do i make the coloured box and text “Sale” bigger? How do I change the color?

    2. On a single product page I´ve managed to make the price-text bigger, but how do I make the sale-price tag bigger and bold? Like the “20.00 kr” in this page

    3. On a catalogue-page (like this one how do I make the products line-up so that the surrounding box are the same height and the button “Put in basket” is aligned vertically?

    4. Also on a catalogue page, how do I change color and size of the “Compare products” link?

    Hi

    For many months we have always updated virtue premium by clicking “update” in the wordpress dashboard when notified one is available. This has always worked great and retained our settings, custom css etc.

    Recently when checking the wordpress admin we are now unable to see an update is due. We would like to install the latest update (3.3.5?)

    The site in question is currently using version 3.2.9 but the dashboard shows that the theme is up to date and no updates are currently showing as available.

    All other Plugins still notify when updates are due and update as normal.

    I have raised issue with the hosting company and they checked php version etc but still no success.

    Hope you can help as would really like to continue with auto updates.

    We have been really pleased with Virtue Premium.
