From your site it looks like you copied the css from an email and not from these forums. You have to copy from the forms for the css to work in an email the code changes.

Nothing in the theme would send a hit to your site.
If you look at your site there are a lot of js errors that show up because of all your google ads scripts. I would check with those. Using chrome you can click inspect and see what I mean.

Hello

I’d like to add my social media accounts to my website, http://www.idtracksolutions.com in the top bar area and also in the footer. I was wondering if I can get help with a couple of issues.

1-When I add Twitter and LinkedIn to the top bar using the social media widget; the two icons appear in a second row (below the vcard and misaligned). I’d like to keep the vcard and social media in one row, with the social media icons to the right of the vcard.

2-I’d also like to add twitter to the footer but not just the icon and the link. I’d like to display my latest tweets on the footer (similar to the RSS feed that I have there now)

Speaking of RSS, is there a way to open the RSS in a new tab? Right now the link opens in the same tab meaning the visitor leaves my site.

Hi Ben,

All your codes worked well, thank you.

With regards to some points above :
1) I have used the tab buttons for the attributes …. I prefer just the border to go to dark grey (like it does when one hovers) [ this first portion is done already ] and a SMALL TICK MARK in WHITE to come on the right lower corner with d same grey background .. There can be a small little triangle on that edge that is in dark grey, so that the little (arrow- WROTE ARROW BY MISTAKE) tick mark fits on it.

2. I activated the child theme, and all the codes that need to go into the child themes php file was done. I dont know what I did wrong, but you can see all the codes on the top of the main website now and the no change has occurred. Kindly check and let me know where I’ve gone wrong.

3. After activating the child theme, the footer 4 disappeared from the footer. I have been trying to get it back in its place through Customising> widgets > footer 4 column > custom menu , but it isn’t saving. What could be the reason, any idea?

4. I also noticed that on an individual product page, the images when clicked on, open much below the screen and not in the centre of the screen like before. All this is after the child theme is activated.

It works great on the Virtue Premium Theme.

Hi Ben –

I am using the Virtue Premium theme on my website – *Login to see link

In Google Analytics, my bounce rates are extremely low (reporting between 0-4%), which I think is inaccurate.

I assume a lot more than 96% of my site visitors are bouncing from the site.

Are there any items included with this theme that may send an additional ‘hit’ that would trigger a ‘non-bounce’.

Ah sorry… Finally, it does not work everywhere on the website.
There is the same issue on the product page (http://tjc.apps-1and1.net/product/ring-exemple-7) and for the product category (http://tjc.apps-1and1.net/product-category/rings).

Topic: why wrong permalink?

I’m pretty new to WordPress so I will need a “Virtue for dummies response” to my problem:
At first my automatic permalinks looked ok, just the way I want them:
http://www.hubschvinhandel.se/vara-viner/rose-2013 (example)

Then, all of a sudden, all my portfolio posts became:
http://www.hubschvinhandel.se/portfolio/rose-2013

I started searching. Under portfilo navigation options I at first had chosen “vara viner”. Then I tried to override it by choosing “vara-viner” as my portfolio permalink base. Even when resaving the permalink names of some portfoliao options it didn’t work. I had to put our site on maintenance and change it back! Nothing worked. But I want to get it right since it affects all my links on for example social media! And google doesn’t like when I change the url all of the time! = BAD

Under wordpress settings I have: *Login to see link

What do I do wrong?!

Yeah saw the site you linked to before. That isn’t a theme option and I don’t know of a free plugin I can recommend. I suggest either getting a premium plugin: http://codecanyon.net/item/advanced-floating-content/9945856
Or developing a plugin for this. It’s not something theme support can develop for you.

Hi guys,

I’ve created a gallery post and I’m using the Image Carousel (Image Caroufedsel) option but the Mobile Site Image gallery won’t resize all images as it does with the web version (all images on the website gallery resize to be the same height). Therefore, when you read the post on your mobile it consistently jumps the wording up and down based on the size of the images in the gallery.

Does this mean I need to resize all gallery photos before I post, or is there an option I’m missing here?

So your wanting the “logo” to be next to be along the edge of the screen? or just a little left with css like this?

Icons can be made larger, The “dropdown” that happens when you click the icons on the site you linked to isn’t possible with this menu. You could try hacking the topbar menu to only show an icon then have the submenu be fullwidth and that would appear on hover.

this would make theme larger can you clarify what your wanting for “dropdown”?

Ben, I tried the “Floating Widget” (v1.3), “Floating Menu” (v1.4.1), “Q2W3 Fixed Widget” – but this is making something different thing…
I simply searched among of plugins and downloaded… Actually years ago I made a WP site where the Floating widget+floating menu worked perfectly together, but is was used on “Visual” WP template…

You can give a try, may be I just made a silly mistake with the settings…
