Hi, Hannah & Ben,

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I’m unable to post a link as the site I’m working on is internal only and doesn’t have outside access. I did add the code Ben suggested though and it did work, so thank you very much.

Another question … I’d like to remove (hide really) some of the theme options. I copied the theme options pages and assets to my child theme and removed what I didn’t want but of course this probably isn’t the best way to accomplish my goal (although it does work). Is there a better way to filter out what I don’t want/need? For example, we will not be using the Shop Settings so I’d like to hide that.

If this should be a separate question/thread, please let me know. And thank you again for your quick response.

Hi Hannah & Ben,
I tried to update the Calendar page in my site http://www.vcc-wellswark.org.nz and get this: “Not Found
The requested URL /calendar/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
None of the pages will display apart from the Home page.
There are actually two Calendar pages, #1 with columns and #2 without columns but with extra spaces to form columns, but neither will display.
I have not changed anything except updating the Calendar and plugins which had update notifications.
Can you help please?

I contacted my host and he corrected permissions, but site still won’t show and this is the reason:

Hi Hannah,

I already dit that (I always do when something strange happens) but without result.
The problem suddenly suddenly occurred. The website and mobile site were working fine before.

Because exact the same problem happened before with anohter website (also built by me) I posted again in this thread. It was solved then by Ben but I dont know what he did to solve it 🙂

The GIFS are the bottom 3 images on this page http://callumdawes.co.uk/project/salford-symphony-orchestra/
I added them using Add Media and when you click them on the page the GIF works in a separate tab but on the site they don’t work.

Hi Hannah
now i can not post it. My site is being redirected to server. I try to explain visually)))
The shoes have following sizes: 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36. I sold e.g. 31, 32.
When I choose select box in theme settings there are 33, 34, 35, 36. That is, the sizes which were sold disappear.
But when I choose select box in the theme settings there are all: 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36. Besides when I click 31 or 32 (sold sizes) the browser writes me that it’s imposible to choose these sizes. It’s not very convenient. It will be better if sold variations in select box disappear.

1. Add this css and if it doesn’t do all of what you want post when there are icons there so I can see:

Bonus. The rss widget your using is from wordpress directly it’s one of the core widgets and they have for a long time not added a function to allow for this because in general they feel as through if a user wants to open a new tab they will and sites shouldn’t do it for them.

Hey,
Who is your host?
There are currently over 20,000 sites using this premium theme and you are the only one currently telling me there is an issue saving the theme options.
I can test with php 5.4 and that isn’t an issue.

If there is a issue with your servers wp admin-ajax.php file what is the error being posted in your php error logs?

can you confirm you are using the latest version of the theme (3.2.6)

As a way to troubleshoot the theme uses redux theme options framework. Try installing this plugin as a test.

1. Tick mark or arrow I still don’t know what you mean? Sorry can you maybe send an example along. This something you hope to build in css?

2. I would need to see into the child theme files to know what you did wrong, Can’t just look at a link. Can you post what you have added in your functions.php file? Or send a login to your site.

3. In your appearance > widgets (not customizer) when you add any widget to the forth column what happens?

4. Yes, that would happen if you are outputting code into the header. (by the way I assume you took it down? I looked and can’t see the code on your site).

And It’s not possible. The theme isn’t designed to do that and it’s not close enough that any css can make it. The whole structure for the menu and logo would have to change along with how the dropdowns work. It’s not something theme support can build for you.

What I tried to explain above about the drodown on your primary menu is as close as you could get but again won’t every be like nest because it’s not in the purpose of the theme to be that.

As for the image in your topbar. Please explain what you mean by the left side? Are you talking about the screen size or the page size. Because the css I sent would align it with your page size but to have it be the screen size it’s different and I would need to know if thats what you want.

Hey just to clear up with more details:

You don’t get a full license when the slider is bundled with the theme like you do if you purchase directly from the plugin authors. You don’t get there support or updates through there api. It’s part of how they do there licensing and theme bundling licensing. What you get in the theme is the use of the plugin on one site use that theme that it was bundled with and all support and updates come through that theme. (which by the way the theme will update Monday and have the update for the latest version of the slider). Current version in the theme is 5.0.5

I started this website about 5 months ago and added a lot of media files with tabs and description in various pages, this website is for a Furniture store. 1st of all I don’t know if I’ve been doing it right, lol.. I have been making pages for every product we carry, is this the way to do it, or should I be doing posts instead? Also, my website disappeared a few weeks ago due to a WordPress Update. The free version theme wasn’t updated and so upgraded to the premium theme instead to make it work again, but NOW there’s another update for the theme and it says if I update it will erase all of my customization. I don’t know what to do? Can someone please help me figure it out? I don’t want to be afraid my website is going to disappear every time there’s an update.I recently heard about Child themes, will that be necessary? If so, is there an easier way to do it, and how do i transfer all the work I’ve so i wont lose any of it?

The revolution slider can be found by navigating to the lib folder and then the plugins folder. “li/plugins/”
I’m seeing your slider fullwidth on your site? Is this working for you now?

Thanks, however the align css for the image widget in the topbar hasn’t worked is there a way to control how many pixels from the left it appears?

Also regarding the icons in the topbar how would i implement the exact ame functions as in the nest website?

I need the topbar to feature the exact same fuctions and almost appearance as the one featured in the top right here: nest.co.uk
