Thanks for the info to make the menu of my Virtue Premium website http://www.vcc-wellswark.org.nz display properly on iPad.
That was a simple fix but it raised another issue: the columns on my Calendar page now display vertically one after another instead of alongside each other.
I am using Advanced WP Columns plugin and the ‘responsive layout’ box IS ticked. Is there some CSS to correct this or do you recommend using a different plugin for columns?

thanx for the support, didn’t have isues with 1&1 in Germany so far and i have done a few sites, but i trust you have more experience.
This site is for a friend and she did buy the smallest package from 1&1, it has a limit for memory, i have to check how much.

Reuploading will fix the issue ? Is my content safe if i reupload theme? It was a lot of work…

I read a few tutorials, including yours and i can figure out simple stuff but sometimes i just can’t find the right identifier for CSS – like this time. I will learn more 😀

In your theme options > topbar settings you have the height set to 30px.

You added an icon that is 40px. You need to set your height larger.

Next you have set your header style to be center logo with menus on the sides. You need to change that back to default. It’s the first option in your theme options > site header.

Its fine as long as the page is just another page, but when I make it the front page in Reading settings (a temporary situation until the site is ready), it seems to add the header and footer. http://www.midnightcafeuae.com

hi,
So after waking up this morning and checking my site i realised that my menu had jumped out of my header. I did not do anything to change this and it was not like this last night before i went to sleep. I am fairly new to wordpress so it is hard for me to troubleshoot. I had a gander around but could not figure out how to fix this problem. The site in question is http://www.secondlivery.com. Can anybody help me resolve this issue?

I believe your issue with shortcodes is your hosting… looks like your using 1&1 and fyi (they are by far the worst host I come across in all my support).
But to be more specific I think your issue is that you don’t have all of the theme uploaded because of your max upload size. I’m assuming you uploaded through ftp? You need to re-upload ftp (especially on 1and1) is not always consistent.

Also You need to get your max memory, max execution time and max input vars increased for the site.

You can edit dropdown with css:

#nav-main ul.sf-menu ul li a {
    color: white;
    background-color: magenta;
    font-size: 14px;
}

Hi, I have used virtue on two sites, now doing another, I have the zip file that I have paid for the upgrade, I just cannot remember how to get this going on my wordpress dashboard, I know that sounds a bit daft! I seem to remember it was so simple, just cant remember how I did this, I want to use the upgrade again so I can use the revolution slider.

Any help appreciated.

Hey Dennis,
I just tested your site from an Iphone6 and an Ipad and the menu worked fine on both. Try clearing your cache. Let me know if the problem is still there after.

On iPad the home page opens but without the menu at the top so one cannot open any of the other pages.
I am sure there must be a simple fix for this but I am a newbie so would appreciate some guidance.

I updated WordPress, Woocommerce and also downloaded 3.2.6 from this site. I manually updated to 3.2.6 via file manager but lost CSS formatting of all menus. Finally I updated 3.2.6 again, but this time from wordpress themes using “update now” button. Now everything is working as expected.
