In forum: Virtue ThemeSorry I do not think I was clear.
I would like all the blog posts such as the links below. To have the line spacing 20px, but keep the rest of the site with what I have selected in the typography section.

August 21, 2015 at 12:30 am #54729I’m all packed now about to sleep 🙂
“Could not create directory” is usually a permissions issue. weather your site is in a sub folder or not that shouldn’t matter. I suggest contacting your host. They can check the folder permissions.

Well, I went back into Rev Slider and tweaked some of the settings back, and also cleared the browser cache, so, it seems to be fixed now. I didn’t realize that WP needed to be updated to 4.3 BEFORE the Rev Slider plugin should’ve been updated to 5.0.4.1. But, I’m still on WP 4.2 and the slider seems ok—for now.
When attempting to update WP to 4.3, I just get an error message: “Could not create directory. Installation Failed” Could that be because the whole site is in a sub folder called dev?
The theme has also been updated to the latest version.
Thanks so much for your help—you’d probably rather be packing for your trip!

August 21, 2015 at 12:13 am #54723Hey,
1. You should only be updating the rev slider to 5.0.4.1 if your using wordpress 4.3 Earlier version of 5 worked on earlier versions of wordpress 4.2 but those are not options to install.2. When you update the theme to the latest version it will prompt you to update the rev slider.
3. After you updated did you clear your cache? I’m not seeing antying crazy on your site?

Lets put it this way …
HANDLOOM >>
ORGANIC COTTON>>
Cotton Sarees
Cotton Kurta
Cotton Salwar Kameez
Cotton Duppattas
Cotton BedSheets
Cotton CurtainsHandloom is the broader Menu under Which we want Organic Cotton to be displayed ,Organic Cotton has the mentioned Products such as Cotton Sarees,Kurta,Salwar ,Duppatta Etc.
Now when we try add the Cotton Sarees,Kurta,Salwar ,Duppatta under ORGANIC COTTON..something goes missing from Main main, example last time we added Sub Menus under ” KHADI ” the ABOUT US and BENGAL ARCHIVE went missing ,or something went missing from Current project.
Upong trying several time the Whole MENU with alll attributes went missing and the site had NO menus to browse thru not until I went to the location setting and selected primary Menu check box again and Saved it..
In forum: Virtue ThemePlease clarify: does the Revolution Slider update to v5 only work with the WordPress update to 4.3 (and not previous WP versions)?
Should I have received the Rev Slider 5 update directly from you instead of updating via the admin alerts, since it came bundled with the Virtue Premium theme that I purhcased? (As indicated in the v5 instructions link you posted elsewhere).
I updated the Rev Slider in the plugins update admin area to v5, but, the way it displays on my website is really whacked now (www.nmckeown.com). WP 4.3 will not update in the usual way (auto-can’t find the directory error message?) and, it looks like I’ll have to do it manually instead? (Yikes—this will take some time to figure out!).
Thanks for your help… (in case I catch you before your mini-vacation this weekend!).

In forum: Virtue ThemeHowdy,
Well, after installing Virtue Premium, the following message appears: “This theme comes packaged with the following premium plugin: PageBuilder by SiteOrigin. Plugin is not required.” But where is the plugin packaged?
The premium slider plugins were in the lib/plugin folder… but the Page Builder plugin cannot be found…
Help please,
Harold

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeOn our live site, we updated Virtue to 3.2.5. We still haven’t updated WC because it has problems on our test site with our other plugins.
We tested Virture premium 3.2.5 on the test site and all seemed good so we went with it on the live site. Bad plan. We need assistance because we’re on Virtue Premium 3.2.5, WC is 2.3.13 and WP is 4.2.4 and having a similar problem with variable products not properly displaying
the WordPress Log says:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method
WC_Product_Variable::get_variation_default_attribute() in
/srv/www/wp-content/mysite.com/themes/virtue_premium/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php
on line 45You can see the error in this variable product https://bitly.com/shorten/
And you can see what a product should look like here http://bit.ly/1gZGFePPlease provide assistance asap since the site is live. How can we revert to an older version of the theme if needed? Is there a fix otherwise letting us use the current version of theme while we work on updates to our other plugins (required plugins) to enable use of the latest Woocommerce and WordPress.
Thanks! Brenda

Ben,
I contacted GoDaddy and maximized the memory settings you mentioned in this thread. This did not help. I am assuming I am doing it the right way. It seems that if you were able to make the change on my site that I should be able to duplicate it. Isn’t it as simple as choosing the page and placing under and to the right of the main menu heading?

In forum: Virtue ThemeAugust 20, 2015 at 2:23 pm #54668Hey,
That shows you are using the free theme. Here is what happened and how to fix:
From wordpress.org Tech Leader:
“One of the servers here on WordPress.org had a bad copy of the 2.5.4 version of this theme. If you updated to that version and happened to get the bad ZIP from that server, you will have gotten this error.
This server has been corrected and all servers have been double checked. The theme is now correct and complete on all of them.
You can fix your site by downloading this theme directly and uploading it to your server.
Our apologies for the server error.”
So you now you need to remove that copy of the virtue free theme from your server and reinstall:
Usually you can login to your cpanel on your hosts site and find the “web file manager”
From there you can navigate to the wp-content/themes folder and remove the “virtue” folder that would get your site back up and running. Next login to your wordpress site and navigate to themes. There you can click add new and reinstall virtue.
Since the theme options and customizations are saved in your database those will all still be there.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello Ben,
I was attempting to install Kadence importer. I had also upgraded to WP 4.3. Before I knew what was happening,
I got a message and fatal error was included. When I go to my website, Harriet Roth/wp-admin, I get a blank
page with two lines of text, which I don’t understand, except for fatal error. In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Submenus under Primary menus Not getting saved

August 20, 2015 at 12:35 pm #54627You don’t need to get ride of jetpack but for stats I recommend google analytics so it’s out of your dashboard and you don’t have to run an extra plugin.
Ok that set up isn’t how site are supposed to be set up. it would make all your scripts break, you should be logging into the site your are editing you shouldn’t have a site at wp then a redirect site without wp directory. I recommend you contact your host and get all that fixed. From what your saying there is no benefit to what you have set up only trouble with the scripts that have to load.
