Hi, quick update on the video quality…

Looking closer at other videos on my site I’ve realised they all have the same problem; they look awful. It seems the only way to get vimeo videos to display to a high quality is to go to the video page on vimeo and get the old embed code and use that. Fine, I think, for most of my videos, but revolution slider doesn’t give the option to use this code, only the link to the vimeo page. urgh. Leaving aside this seeming to be a terrible mistake on the part of the creators of the slider (I think, given what I’ve read, this is always a problem?), is there anything I can do? Obviously I prefer to have a high quality play back over the convenience of the slider, so do you have any pointers for how else I can get a full screen video onto my home page?

Actually, now even using the old code is giving terrible results, which seems weird and makes me wonder if actually the problem is on my end. Does any of this sound familiar to you? First set of questions still stand, the quality of play back is separate.

If you mean about the header menu, you need to go to Theme options > Site Header > Header Height

My revolution slider layers, I created 3 of them but only 1 is showing up.

In the slider, 1st layer is “Exquisite”, 2nd layer is “Stylish” and the 3rd one “Unique”.
Animation for the only layer, number 2 is working fine.
I have searched for a similar help post but could not find one.

Hi

All images on my website are missing the Alt tag.
I have already added Alt text to images in the media library on all my images.
The Title of the image works fine and shows up but not the Alt tag

I have been looking on other Virtue Premium users images on their websites that they link to on other related issues here in support forum.
Some have the Alt tag and Title tag but others are missing the Alt tag whether that is because they have not entered in an alt text when they uploaded their images I don’t know.

I wish to have both Alt tag and Title tag on all my images.

I suspect this is not a theme issue but….. I created a website that looks quite good on my computer (Mac). When I see it on another, larger, PC screen the colours are bad – photos and colours selected from the theme’s selection (background colours, etc.) Why is that?

Hi,

I’m having the same issue with the Events Calendar not showing on the Calendar page. Like the other person, I tested it on 2014 Theme and it works perfectly, but in Virtue Premium, it doesn’t show a calendar at all.

Turned off Select2Select

Added both codes above to css (although I am not having a problem with dots…my problem is that the calendar still won’t show at all!)

The inbound now marketing plugin integration instructions for WordPress 201X located here: *Login to see link lead me to discover that Virtue theme has nested parts of core WP theme templates.

Will you be able to help me create a custom Virtue landing page template that hooks into inbound now plugins functionality?

remove_action( ‘woocommerce_before_shop_loop’, ‘woocommerce_catalog_ordering’, 30 );

In my online test site which is similar to production site I found this warning `Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use
__construct()
instead. in /web/htdocs/www.wocmultimedia.biz/home/test_site/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3457`
after updating to wp 4.3. It has the debug on so it appears maybe is important for you to know and check, I suppose it’s related to theme functions.php

My test site is in a protected directory so you cannot access it from the browser but has all plugins and theme copied from production one http://www.wocmultimedia.biz

2 : Is there a way to show only the shop page on the home on mobile devices. i mean when you visit the site on mobile i want to show directly the shop page instead of the home content.

Hi , I get a site with 5 domains, the first site (the principal ) loads very well the theme but the other sites don´t load the theme’s icons. ex http://www.ciudadesinteligentes.cl , this is the principal and http://www.ciudadesinteligentes.gob.cl , in this site you will see that theme don’t load well.

If they aren’t blocking thats fine.
I ran google page speed on your site and it didn’t block the google bot then. How are you getting it to block?

you shouldn’t have to allow anything. That should be automatic. I think it’s possible there is something bigger then your site going on. Have you tired contacting your host to make sure they aren’t blocking from there end?

I am not sure if you are able to help me with this. I noticed an issue when viewing my website on my Mac. The light weight font that I am using is PT Sans and it appears to be much bolder when viewing my site on Mac OS. I am using Google Chrome on both machines but I’d like it to look consistent on different browsers and OS. Is there a fix for this? I had found this short code on a forum but am unsure if it will work on my site…
