Hi, I use Pinnacle Premium 1.40 with a child theme.
I wanted the header as well as the shrinked header to be 97% opaque, i.e. the color behind the elements of the main menu.
I selected Theme options -> Site header -> Transparent Header -> Enable Transparent header until scrolled? ON.
Then, in my child style.css file I put, with success:
.headerclass {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.97) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; }

For the menu when it is scrolled, I went to Theme options -> Page title -> Page title -> Page Header background Overlay Opacity. It only goes to 0.9 so I selected 0.9 .
Since I want 0.97, I added in my style.css without success this time:
.is-sticky .headerclass, .none-trans-header .headerclass {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.97) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; }

Where am I making mistakes?

I’m looking for a tutorial or best practice for managing categories for a webshop.
1.I would like a clean instinctive selection of products and categories.
We have
-men/women
-T-shirts
-Sweatshirts
-bags
-products
-other Merchandise

advice would be more than welcome

I tried some plugins, but found the layout not good

2. ALso, i don’t know how to edit the font size of the menu witout changing the whole website….

Hi!

Hi Larry,
Your site is in maintenance mode so I can’t quite see what’s going on.
You fonts should pull from your theme options > typography settings. Have you set your fonts up there? You can see what each does here- http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#typography

I have no font size selection button on the page word processor in the Virtue Premium theme on a new website I’m building

When I first started I loaded the free theme first, just to see the difference between the two. Then I loaded the premium and started working on it.
I put this in the copyright box in the misc. settings

2: the copyright announcement with the link is there on the fresh download, but it’s not in the copyright box in the misc. settings.

-text font is grey though, not black as I originally coded it.

Can you help me?

So how would I handle this in:

CSS classes?
And do I need to add this to the site CSS via Theme Options > Advanced Settings

Hi, I am using a child theme of Pinnacle 1.3.8. On my local installation, I saw a call for an update to Pinnacle 1.3.9. I clicked on it. The theme fails to upload completeley and said it was damaged as it was missing a style sheet. So I deleted it and tried to reinstall v1.3.8. hoping the call to update would show again. It does not. I tried on another installation and all went well. I rebooted my PC, I redownloaded V1.3.8 from my order to Kadence, reinstall it, but the call to update to 1.3.9 still does not appears. How can I get access to V1.3.9 for that site?

Thats showing on your site at that size… If you only have images this size how would you like them to look? Do you want to force them all to one ratio? If you can tell me how you would like theme I would be happy to help.

Hey,
The “my account” menu item is just a menu item, you can filter it like any other menu item and you can hide it show a different one, whatever. The theme doesn’t add “my account” to your site. You have to add that through one of the menus.

My site has turned out great but when you use your Mobil device the “Revolution slider” goes beyond the rest of the HOME page leaving half the page “blank”.

How do I make it scale properly on Mobil devices??

It’s the same on another site of mine as soon as I add the link it breaks.
If I deactivate the plugins one by one are you suggesting that the problem will rectify itself?

I deactivated the last couple I installed and there was no change

I have 31 plugins on the site – I am worried if I start deactivating I will loose all the plugin settings that have taken me ages to setup?!!

Hi, I’m absolutely loving your Virtue theme. I’ve been tweaking it over the last week in preparation for migrating from my opencart store and it seems to have everything I need.

I’ve been searching the forums here whenever I’ve been stuck and so far have always found an answer. However, today I need a little help if possible. I have the option for showing the “Sold tag” enabled in your theme settings. This works beautifully throughout most of the site, but doesn’t appear on 2 widgets on my pages (“Woocommerce Recently Viewed Products” and “Products”).

I sell one-of-a-kind items that sell out very quickly as I release them in batches and I would really like customers to be able to see the sold tag on products featured in those widgets so they don’t waste time clicking on them. Can this be done?
