Just a quick question before this topic is closed: I inserted a video on this page http://www.wbajamaica.com/event/blitz-vs-saints/ for you to see how the video is not sized properly and is overlapping into the sidebar. Any suggestions to let the video stay within the page border?
I know you were answering the sticky header issue in the next topic but since you closed it this is an easy question. I currently notice that the dropdown menu on this site is detached and about half an inch away when at the top of the page before the menu shrinks after scrolling. Anyway to close that space?

I tried deactivating sliders and page flips…I have not tried narrowing down each plugin…I will try that….I think we can agree its a loading issue….Here is what my brothers friend said…He says its an iphone issue:

good news, it’s the phone and not the site itself. bad news, the iphone can’t handle that much processing going too fast and its crashing itself.

the big hang up with an iphone compared to most androids is that the iphone thinks it’s doing way too much, and like a prepubescent teenager, it upsets itself when it receives stress

It’s really odd that so many people don’t have this issue. and you have it every time. Again this still points to a loading issue. Not code not settings. When you try and load your site how long does it take to stop the loading wheel.

Have you tested trying to simplify the shop page, no slider and deactivating all your plugins except woocommerce?
If your server has an issue with mobile and it’s response time on mobile then removing some plugins could help.

the thing is in my mind the issue seems clearly a loading one. Your server can’t handle loading the site for mobile consistently. There could be reasons why your server can’t but it would be up to your server to figure out why there mobile response time is so bad and there desktop is fine. This is something your server support has to be able to solve.

Thank for the information….I have had great support from them….But would have preferred one with more reliable host speeds…So where do I go from here?…Im clueless as to how to fix this problem….I tried to hire someone at Fiverr and they couldnt duplicate the problem…They said they fixed my cache because it was set wrong but couldnt find the problem…..I dont know what else to do because for me the problem is every time I look at my website on my phone or any phone…I have people with iphone 6 plus just like me with no problem…Only difference was they were running ios 8.4 an I had 8.3…Dont know if that made a difference or not….What would you do or suggest next?

other then that I don’t see it being related to a scroll.

Have you check the css box for errors like a out of place bracket on your hidden site?

Hey,
Could be that your server timed out while updating. Hard to say. you would need to access the files through cpanel or ftp and remove the theme and reinstall. If you can post (through the set as private reply) access to your site and cpanel i can help restore the site.

If you just want an image that links to a different site why are you calling this a “call to action”? Just use the virtue image widget (not image menu widget) and add your link and image.

godaddy…..I thought they were a leader? – They offer everything from low end shared server for small blogs to high end for large online stores. It depends on what you have. In general I would never recommend them to anyone because of there awful support.

W3C compliant……Why is this?….Could this be the case? – no w3c compliant is a set a guidelines to follow. There errors have to do with there guidelines and not a site issue. The reason for errors at all is because this theme supports older browser so code that supports those gives you a w3c error. It’s really nothing to worry about. It’s a tool.

pingdom that is your desktop speed. pingdom is testing that speed not your mobile speed which is much slower.
