Is that so. I regret that can not be it.
By the way, why can not I rename the “portfolio-type”? I want to at least change only this.
My portfolio site is below. Please to diagnose. How do I guide login?

Hi Sadika,
Looks like your logo is just a blank space? What have you added in Theme Options > Main Settings? That should appear beside the primary menu.
The banner in the demo is the home slider. You can set this up in Theme Options > Home Slider and it will display right under the header.
Also just to clarify, the menu on your site right now is the primary menu, not the topbar menu. These are different.Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Top menu bar
Hello I am having an issue. If you take a look at my website: becomeaphlebotomisthq.com you will notice the menu bar on the top then the word home and then a space and then my banner.
I want my layout for the top to be like the virtue theme layout for the top where you have the logo Virtue Theme (in your font) and immediately in the same line the menu bar and then underneath without a gap the banner.
I have tried maneuvering the menu bar in the different locations and no luck.
Please advise.
Hope to hear from you soon

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi, I like the image grid look in the portfolio post, but I get four columns of images no matter what even if I edit the columns number in edit gallery. I’d like the option to go to 3 or 2 columns.
I managed to get almost the same result if I remove the options and do everything in the text area. Chose to columns then shortcode in the gallery images by id, but this is not ideal. First the white box surrounding the text is larger with this method and just makes the website harder to update in the future for other people.
All I need is for the column settings in gallery to be reflected on the portfolio page.
Hopefully this post is understandable, thank you for all the great work on this theme, I really like it!

July 22, 2015 at 12:21 am #49741ok, so two other things I found while working on your site. Your cache was not working. there wasn’t the correct expiration set for the content. This usually means your htaccess file is not working. So I checked and you had put “/%category%/%postname%/” in for the permalink structure. This was causing the htaccess file to not write correctly. I updated to just postname and now your cache is working.
The second thing is your max memory setting in your php. If you click on woocommerce> system tools you can see what I mean. Your max memory is 40mb and it would run much better if that where higher.

July 21, 2015 at 11:39 pm #49733Hey,
There are no absolute links in the theme. When you update your sites url in the settings all of your links will update. Also if you have any trouble with certain ones then you can use a plugin like : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: HTTPS Compliant theme coding
Hi Ben,
I am using your theme for an e-commerce website. My client acquired an SSL certificate for that site. The issue is there are many links and images that use http. I can edit those and change to https, I am afraid however that all those edits will be lost once I update the theme.
Sincerely.
Ronie

July 21, 2015 at 11:07 pm #49728“WP Super Cache installed… Is that one not good?” – It’s by far the worst caching plugin (in my option). using the payed wp rocket or the free w3 total cache will make a difference.
“How can we narrow the problem down?” – have you tried on any other internet connection. To me I still think your issue has to do with your really long load time for mobile (and only mobile). Have you contacted your host in those 25 hours to see if there are error being logged in the php? That would really help if you can see a plugin causing errors on mobile and slowing down the site.
“How do we trouble shoot me getting a crash every time on everyones phone and you not?” – We try to figure out what is different about your settings. Like the internet connection. Or a browser setting.
“How can I send you the login details without posting them for everyone to see?” – when you type a reply you can check the box called “Set as private reply” which will make it private to you and me.

Ben, Thank you for your though answers again…I really appreciate your help…You seem very smart and logical…I have WP Super Cache installed…Is that one not good?…As far as my time I have over 25 hours trying to fix this problem……I make about $100 an hour when I work..So actually its about about right ..I can send you screen shots of each phone crashing because on safari the page gives and error on reloading….I am not logged in…I just go to site and click shop then filter then category then crash…from each phone and from different browsers….I am on wifi …cleared each phones cache and each phone then crashes again…I would love to look at the settings but if your unable the duplicate the problem then something else is wrong…How can we narrow the problem down?…How do we trobule shoot me getting a crash every time on everyones phone and you not?……How can I send you the login details without posting them for everyone to see?…Thank you again for all your help…Regards, Alan

July 21, 2015 at 10:37 pm #49725Hey,
1. “Can you please call me” – sorry we don’t do phone support.
2. “I would like a refund if I cant get this to fix” – you are certainly entitled to a refund if you choose although I would think by proof of the demo that you would see this is not a theme error but one more related to your site and the plugins/settings you have.
3. “I have spent 50 times what I paid for your theme to get the mobile crashing issues to stop” – Who are you paying money to and why? I would hope you have not spent $2250.00 for nothing?
4. “Oh and yes I installed a cache plugin as you suggested and still crashing problems on many phones” – Looking at your site right now I don’t see either caching plugin (w3 total cache or wp rocket the two I suggested) installed. I see that you have wp super cache which is ok in terms of caching but not great. Considering that it’s taking<!-- Dynamic page generated in 8.093 seconds. -->over 8 seconds for your page to load on mobile I think you should really consider my advice. At the moment I see that your site is really slow on mobile, it’s better on desktop but you have things really slowing down the site on mobile. At this point I strongly recommend you contact your hosting provider to check your error logs.5. “All errors are on mobile devices only and only occur on shop page” As I said above and even tested just now:
I have tested with multiple internet speeds and different mobile devices (iphone4, iphone5, iphone6, samsung note3 using safari and mobile chrome android. Not once has your site crashed for me. (takes a while to load but doesn’t crash) I’ve tried clicking the filter as soon as possible and still nothing crashed.
Can you answer my questions from above?
Can you tell me anything else about your set up that I might be able to see this crash? Are you logged in while on mobile? Are you on a slow wifi or using say 4g?
Finally if you want to send me a login to your site I would be happy to take a look at your settings.
Ben

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: blog page layout options
On my blog page (not my posts) I have the blog template chosen, and I have each blog excerpt with an image. I would like to see the title of the blog post first, then the image, then the excerpt and the other odds and ends. How do I do this? The image shows up first. Also is it possible to set a feature image on the blog page. I know how simple it is to do on a post, but the blog page does not seem to allow this. I’d love to have a static image on the blog page as I do with the other pages on my website. Thanks!

If you do to themes > add new. You should be able to choose the zip file you downloaded and upload to your site. See here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#premiuminstall
