June 23, 2015 at 1:42 am #46507Did you “Also if your using a child theme make sure you have the child theme files using the latest version.”
Your using caching. Did you clear it also??
Looking at your site I see that several things are not updated.

http://www.shopmendatory.com/ this is the link to my website. I just turned off the construction mode so you should be able to see it. Thanks!
Initially it was shrink header but after that i changed it to make the size constant through out when scrolled.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Revolution Slide Duration
I’ve been working on making a Revolution Slide for my home page. I’m running into problems making overall slide durations shorter. It seems no matter what duration settings I mess with, each slide on the slider sits for 10 seconds before shifting to the next slide. Due to the design of how I’m making this slider it’s pretty important that I get those durations down. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Edit: I should probably add this while I’m here…none of the layers are accomplishing their end animation either, or ending at all. The end time is set, the animation is set, etc. In the layer preview box it is working as intended, but it does not display on the actual site.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Editing the "Image Menu Item"
I am a novice at this and not to comfortable messing with the DNA of my website. Makes me a little nervous. I have screenshots of my issues but no way to attached them. Am attempting to give you the link and see if that works.
Id you can see this, the products have white type and is 2 cases, need black type. Can I have both? Can I change the font? Can I outline the font?
Also not that there is padding on the top and bottom of each box that I do not want. Have no idea how to get rid of itAlso below I can not edit the button on the call to action. I can not change the color or the color of the text.
frustrating to me as these seam like simple controls but I guess they are not.
Thanks in advance
Gary

That is most likely your issue. Using a plugin to test a theme never works right. You are better off creating a development copy of your site and running real tests there.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Moblie Topbar Menu Text Settings
Yes, it’s working on the mobile now. Is it possible to have two different text preferences for the main site and the mobile? If not, how can I get rid of the mobile topbar menu only? When I change the (background: transparent;) to (display: none;) it removes the menu from both.

June 22, 2015 at 3:01 pm #46406I don’t see the css I posted in your custom css box. Did you clear your sites cache. Make sure to add at the top so any other css your adding doesn’t break it.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Sub-Menu Issue
Ben,
These are the only plug-ins I have on.
Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
Page Builder by SiteOrigin
Theme Test Drive
WR PageBuilderI eliminated (Black Studio TinyMCE Widget) and go the submenus to work. But I have secondary menus associated with the submerse. I see the arrows to the right but the secondary menus do not pul up.
I still have these plug-ins on:
Page Builder by SiteOrigin (need that, right?)
Theme Test Drive (I have to have this as I do not want to work on the original site live)
WR PageBuilder (must have, right?)Thoughts?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Moblie Topbar Menu Text Settings
Okay I’ve corrected the bracket and added the CSS Heather suggested, and it still leaves the topbar menu on the Mobile site. I changed the .topclass setting to diplay: none: but that took the menu away on the main site and the mobile version. Is there a way to just change the mobile text to black in the topbar? Here is the new settings.
.kad-topbar-left {
width:100%;
}
.kad-topbar-right {
display:none;
}
.topbarmenu ul li {
display: inline-block;
float: none;
}
.topbarmenu ul {
text-align: center;
}
.topbarmenu ul li a {
font-size: 16px;
}
#nav-second ul.sf-menu {
float: none;
text-align:center;
}
#nav-second ul.sf-menu>li {
width: auto;
float: none;
display: inline-block;
}
#nav-second ul.sf-menu>li>a {
padding: 10px 20px;
}.footerclass .kad-info-box{
padding: 0;
}
.home-message h4 {
color: #ffffff;
background-color: #000;
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0);
}
.home-message h5 {
color: #ffffff;
background-color: #000;
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0);
}
@media (min-width: 992px) {
.topclass {
background: transparent;
}
}
.topbarmenu ul li a {
color: #010101;
font-size: 24px;
font-family: lato;
font-weight: bold;
}
}
@media (max-width: 992px) {
.topclass {
display: none;
}
}In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Dropdown menu with an arrow
Hi Ben,
How can I add a “down” arrow to my main menu in a dropdown item menu?
websites: *Login to see link and *Login to see linkThanks, Octavio
In forum: Virtue ThemeOkay, so I have everything pretty much like I want except that the topbar in the mobile settings is not inheriting any of my CSS changes.
Is there a way to:
1) Configure the text CSS for the mobile topbar? (color mainly)
2) Turn off the Mobile topbar menu altogether (I would still need it for the main site) and just use the mobile menu?Thanks,
Rob Harris
