Topic: Issues with checkout page
Hi,
I am having issues with my checkout page. Everything works correctly until a customer gets to the checkout page and enters their shipping details etc. After that however nothing shows except “Your Order” text and they cannot proceed with the order.

thanks yes that did the trick. i thought it would be something like that.
its just that i prefer the ‘off canvas’ style menus. the silverfish built in mobile menu is OK but in general this is the way that websites are going in my view.
however i understand the logic as to how you did this in the first place…

1. Only if you make your front page the “post page” then make sure to add the “page content to enabled and move the “latest posts” to disabled.
2. The owner of that video has set it to only show on certain sites. If you own the video you need to change your settings.

Your CSS codes worked beautifully and did exactly what I wanted, thank you very much.
btw, I can now login through http://dev.idtracksolutions.com/wp-login.php but that sitll takes me to the main site dashboard (idtracksolutions.com/wp-admin).
The main domain and the dev sub domain are supoposed to have their own seperate work spaces. I don’t know how to find the two separate areas to work on one or another.

And randomly the font has changed and it looks odd – I checked and it still says Lato in the typography etc but it looks more like Times New Roman!

So basically is there any way I can shift the slider on the home page to the right and then get the side bar to move up to be in line with it? Alternatively shift the slider to the right an be able to add in static image blocks on the right hand side?

Hello all!, i finally got round to updating my website and i update the wordpress to 4.2.2 and also update virtue premium to the latest version today.
My first blog..i found out i cant upload images from my system (600 pixel wide, less than 120kb) to the media. it kept showing error!.
I did got my logo and some images uploaded months back when i stated building my site.. those images are still there.
Please what am i doing wrong? or what can i do?

ok on this website: *Login to see link the secondary menu does not show up on the ipad, but it does on other screens- specifically i mean in the landscape orientation.
I am confused as to why this is.
I have not assigned a mobile menu, I am using responsive menu but the breakpoint is set to 992px. it works fine, I am just unclear why the menu is disappearing on this device. is there a media query i need to override somewhere? on normal screens it behaves as it should.

Hi Ben
The dev site is a subdomain of the main site which I created in a subfolder for the main site folder. I know the duplication has been successful beacuse when I turn off the maintenance plugin I can see that the dev is the replica of the main site.
The question is how do I access the wp-admin of the dev subdomain to turn off the maintenance plug in or contiunue the development with the dev site for that matter. I thought I could go there from dev.idtracksolutions.com/wp-admin but this redirects to the main site.
I just temporarily disabled the maintenance plugin in the main site wp-admin for you to see both the main and dev sites. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Hi Ben – I built the site using the free version of Virtue and don’t see “blog settings”. Is that an option that is only in the premium version? I just purchased the premium earlier today to access support. Would I be able to upgrade to the premium version without losing what I’ve built in my child theme using the free version? Thanks.

Yeah the theme widget doesn’t have every social media site. But the plugin above has a lot and is easy to implement.

If you have a completely separate development site you can create separate logins and post a login using the Set as private reply. Or turn the maintenance plugin off for the development site.

I’m currently using Virtue Premium 2.2.4 and I want to update it to the last one I just downloaded from my account, Virtue Premium 3.0.8.
Can you explain to me how I can update it safely ? I don’t want to loose the modifications I made on my website…

If your remove slide button isn’t working it’s likely a different plugin that you have activated that is causing errors in your site.
Go through your plugins one by one and deactivate then test.

1. For the Home Page Blog posts:
Under “What’s Happening” (blog posts)How do you indicate that there are more posts under the 6 posts that i have showing on my home page? (like numbers or read more… etc)
2. the Youtube video that is inserted into a page gives me an error saying that “it’s restricted from playback from certain sites”. Could you tell me what I can do to make this work?

Site: http://www.happy-travels.com still in development. Hello, my mobile menu does not appear. I’ve tried turning on and off the “show only button” option, but that doesn’t help. Under Menus, I do have the mobile menu assigned to Main. What else am I missing?

First off thanks to you and Hannah with your quick responses.
I did create a database for the dev site using this instruction from my hosting service http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/wordpress/duplicate-wordpress-site-for-testing .
The problem still remains, that is, the main site ( idtracksolutions.com ) can be accessed if I am logged into the WP admin and it is locked when I am not logged in , this is expected. However, the dev.idtracksolutions.com remains locked with or without the WP admin login. I just don’t know how to make the dev.idtracksolutions.com become accessible by you without unlocking the main site.
