Can you send login info for your staging site? You can set as a private reply.
If you wanted a different slider for mobile you could do this by adding both sliders to your page then hiding one on desktop and showing the other with some css, and then visa versa.

It’s a staging site on a live server hosted with SiteGround. I am using Kadence Slider Pro. As far as I can see, the only option that is specific to mobile is the Mobile Minimum Height in the slider settings. There is nothing specific to mobile on the button options.
Each slider is currently set up identically but with a different background image. It’a single static slide with a button in the bottom right corner. I have the grid height set to 300 and the grid width set to 1140. (it’s set to 200 for mobile). I set it to 1140 as I took a screengrab of the page and this appeared to be the width of the slider. (I have the site layout style set to boxed in the main settings in the theme options).
Is it possible to create one slider for mobile and one for desktop for the same page?
Would it be easier to wait for me to push it live? I can’t go live for another month or two.

hi,
my search bar, and my basket are too much in the center as you can see on the top bar of the website
*Login to see linkexcept on the home page where the header is in fullwidth, all the rest of the website is centered and with a lot of margin on both sides.
i would like it to be “normal” 🙂 so that it takes all the width of the screen.
can you telle me how to fix that ?
Thanks

In forum: Virtue ThemeHey, I added pictures to my home page slider but they didn’t show on my website. I tried to add my logo but it didn’t work. I have had problems with it. The home page was different then what I created. Color change, no logo and the slider was gone but i was able to get that back on with only one picture. The 3 bottom pictures under the slider, the first one is not lined up with the other 2 pictures. Under the slider it says’Home Sweet Spot Chocolate Shop’ I have no idea how that got there.
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Creating a new section on Main Menu
Thanks for your response. Does that mean that I should go to either the blogs or portfolio feature, create a new page, and my question would be then, how could I make those pages appear separately in a different section on my main menu lets say under Destinations, so then I have the Portfolio, Blog, About Me, Contact, and the new section called Destinations. I apologize in advance if my questions dont make a lot of sense, I’m very new to the whole making a website craft.
ThanksIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi! I had a problem where I was trying to display my image menu on the home page(s) so it would display 2 items across on mobile devices. You supplied some code that worked great until a recent update – honestly not sure when it broke because it only affects how it is displayed on mobile devices. Here is the code you previously provided:
@media (max-width: 780px){
#pg-7-0 .panel-grid-cell {
width:50% !important;
float:left !important;
text-align:center;
padding:0 5px !important;
}
#pg-7-0> .panel-row-style {
display: block;
padding:0 5px !important;
}Since the update this creates a conflict. It still displays 2 columns like we want, however it corrupts the next 2 sections which are now compressed on a mobile device. This is a multi-site and I have left one of the sites with the above code so that you can see how it displays since the update: *Login to see link
I have removed the above code from the other location sites. You can see how it displays without the code here: *Login to see link
I understand your policy and realize you cannot be writing code for websites. However, since this involves previous code I’m really hoping we can identify the problem easily. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.In forum: Ascend ThemeSo I’ve been trying to figure out how to add a a new section to my website beyond what the Photographer theme I imported has. I currently have a Portfolio, Blog, About me, and Contact. I would like to create a new section called Destinations that would appear on the Main Menu and where once I click it would give me the option to go to a different page or blog, one for each the of the National Parks I have visited which its the main reason why I decided to create a website. Just like most of travel blogs have. I would very much appreciate if you could tell me how to create this section and a new page for each National Park.
Thanks a lot!In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Calendar plug in conflict
March 14, 2019 at 4:12 pm #219864I’m not familiar with that plugin but it certainly appears that it’s overriding the excerpts which would be very strange.
I’ll see if I can get the plugin installed on a test site to see what setting might be causing that.

Hello,
1. You can use any theme you like. They recommend Storefront because they develop it and suggest it in order to gain more users for their products. Since WooCommerce is built to the same WordPress standards as our themes and plugins, it will work with whichever theme you choose!
2.
a. You can experiment with those blocks in order to see if they’re useful to you. It certainly wont hurt to have it installed on your site. If you find it’s not useful to you, then you wont be losing out on anything if you choose not to use it on your site.b. Woocommerce services is another Automaticc product that is not necessary but recommended by them since they develop it. You can certainly use it if you see features you’d like to use, but it is not necessary.
c. Those plugins are all only useful if they have features that you feel are needed in your store. Basically, any plugin that offers functionality that you feel you would benefit from should be a good addition to your site.
A good thing to consider is that if you don’t know why you’re adding a plugin to your site, then you probably don’t need it.
Hopefully this is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions.

March 14, 2019 at 3:49 pm #219854I’m providing free web/WordPress help to an organization that purchased the Virtue Pro theme when I helped them convert their site to WordPress. (My first experience with a Pro theme – big thumbs up for your support.) We’re slowly working to create a new home page using the block editor, both because of an SEO consultant’s feedback on what content to have there and to get familiar with the new editor, so we can use it going forward.
Recently they’ve asked about what it would take to enable e-commerce on the site. I’m totally new to the e-commerce side of things. WooCommerce seems the obvious choice to explore (unless we run into some “deal-breaker”, which I do not expect), particularly as Kadence has multiple plugins for WooCommerce. I’m quite comfortable learning yet another computer/web based tool and helping others get up to speed with it as well.
I’m fairly certain they’ll want to go from a single-theme license to an “all-in” ‘Kadence Membership’, particularly for Woo Extras and some of the other WooCommerce-targeted plugins. Going that route, we’ll probably figure out how to incorporate Kadence AMP as well, to improve performance for people using phones to view the site.
So I have some “newbie” questions to get started.
(1) Theme – I’m planning to put the commerce in a secondary installation of WordPress at mainsite.org/store or something like that. The WooCommerce info recommends using the Storefront theme. It seems to me we’d be better off sticking with Virtue Pro, since that’s what we’re familiar with. Does the Storefront theme (or any of your other themes) have anything spectacular that might make me change my mind?
(2) Plugins –
(a) Automattic has a “WooCommerce Blocks” plugin. Is this largely redundant to what your plugins do, an expected companion plugin, or does it provides features different from your plugins?
(b) “WooCommerce Services” looks interesting. It looks like it would be a good thing to add. Thoughts?
(c) I saw your blog post *Login to see link and will look into those. Beyond that, any “basics” plugins I haven’t found out about yet?Thanks for your help, once again.

The css would likely vary slider to slider, depending on how you have things set up. When do you plan to make your site live?
Your issue could be that your grid width settings are too high. What have you set this to (in your Slider Settings > Slider Grid Width)?Hannah
