Hi there, a friend of mine moved our website to a new server 2 weeks ago and ever since we are experiencing issues with us receiving the copy of the order sent to our email. We get the odd one and the majority we are not getting. Not sure what to do, we only know we have the order by looking at the woo commerce tab within the site and then we can’t print them off.
I have installed a mail plugin to track emails sent by the site and it is showing the system is failing to send some of the order acknowledments to us but the customer copy sends fine.
Can you help please.

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Ascend problem
Hello,
I bought membership and am trying to use Ascend theme. Have many questions, first: It seems that when I choose a Google font (Oswald) for the website in Appearance and then save “Custom CSS”, the fonts go back to default. What should I do?
I’d like to build menus as in this site I have previously made: *Login to see link – would this be possible in Ascend? How to access the items in the 2 menus? Or maybe I should just forget about the archive file looking backgrounds in the menus. This is where I am trying out the new site: *Login to see link
Detail question: 1. How to get the upper menu align left with the page content? Now the menu items are centered. 2. How to hide the vertical little line inbetween the horizontal menu items? 3. How to hide the horizontal line in the beginning of footer items and sidebar items?
Is it advisable to create a child theme if you make so many changes? – I am not yet familiar with child themes, must study that.
Question regarding work with clients: Now that I’m a member, shall I give my Product API Key to the client or just fill it in while building the site and then next year ask for a password and go fill the key in on their site again? What if I cancel my subscription? My guess is the client then is on their own and gets no updates, unless they make a subscription themselves.
Thank you in advance,
UllaIn forum: Virtue ThemeHello, we need to have our website already operational, which is why it is already on its final site: http://archicad.es/
If you have made modifications on: http://archicad.es.mialias.net/nueva/wp-admin this site is no longer valid, the real one is: http://archicad.es/wp-admin
Continue with the same username and password in case you have to modify something.
In the new site the error continues to occur.
Thank youIn forum: Membership ForumsHi there,
I have use kadence woo extras on this site: *Login to see link for colour sample variation.
However, the gallery view preference from the client is portrait underneath the main image. All images in the gallery crop to portrait, however, when you select a colour swatch the image displayed in the gallery underneath the main image is square. *Login to see link
How can I ensure the view here is portrait to match?

Ben,
I am using WP Rocket for caching and it actually creates a separate cache for mobile and desktop if you ask it too. So that is how it has worked on the site I have it setup on in Pinnacle.
I the slider plugin I am using does not use background images. So I may have to try a different slider or try the lazy loading.
I will send you a link to the dev site.
As Always thanks for all the help / support.

March 12, 2019 at 11:28 pm #219575Pinnacle does it that way backward compatibility, but it won’t work if you use page caching on your front page, simply because page caching returns html without doing any quering on the server so the server never finds out what specific content it needs to send out.
This can work but I don’t suggest it, in pinnacle I’m going to make the default way this works not require any querying on the server.
I know I can hide the sliders on the other pages with css, but my impression was that the images would still load and cause the page speed to take a hit, even though they are hidden with css.
Not really correct. Sliders use background images, by simply adding CSS to make the priority background transparent for mobile and hiding no image will be loaded.
If you post a link I would be happy to give you an example css.
By the way if you were loading regular images and hide them using css they wouldn’t load either as long as you are using lazy load on your site.

Ben,
I have a site setup with a slider on the home page. And for mobile I am using the themes (Pinnacle is the theme on the site I am describing, the site I am currently building and have the question about is in Ascend) Home Page Mobile settings and for the slider I set that to none.
As far as I can tell this makes it so the slider code and images do not load or even show in the inspector if I am in a mobile view. Is that not the case?
I know I can hide the sliders on the other pages with css, but my impression was that the images would still load and cause the page speed to take a hit, even though they are hidden with css.

March 12, 2019 at 11:00 pm #219563Hey,
With css you can change a lot of things. What are you wanting to do exactly? For example, if you want to change the background image you can do that with css.
If you want to programmable remove it (check the browser before you send a response from the server) you can’t use page caching which will slow down your site more than any single thing. So I don’t suggest you do that. The home page outputs both html showing one or the other based on screen size.
You can simply hide it with CSS and easily set the background to transparent so that nothing but the few lines of html load.

In forum: Ascend ThemeMarch 12, 2019 at 8:33 pm #219557I have most probably not last version of Ascend but after Gutenberg was introduced the website changes. Most of Kadence theme features are killed, as columns, galleries, etc. And I cannot change them. On some pages I used page builder which can be problem too.
Question is if I will update last version will this be fixed automatically? or need really use only what Gutenberg offer or eg. Elementor? In forum: Virtue Theme*Login to see link

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I’ve already got my H1 set for my site and the text color is white.
I want to use page titles on my portfolio that I will be launching and I want to use a different style for that heading.
Is there css code I can use to update the page title font style?
Or is there a setting somewhere I can change to set the page title style to H2 or H4?Thanks,
