Topic: hide category image & title
Hi!
Just installed Pinnacle Premium.
background: We’re changing our site from a “selling to everyone” to being basically just a wholesaler and not selling through the site at all, just to registered agents (not through the site).
we only manufacture FIVE products that will be available this way, so it’s silly to have the shop archive (which will be set to catalogue mode) have multiple categories.
We only want it to show the 5 products. However despite Woocommerce settings set to “product only”, we’re seeing the category image (no image, placeholder only) and title appearing *behind* the first two product images.
Obviously we don’t want or need it there – it’s messy. Where abouts can I “hide” this please?

Thank you, I don’t believe that was caused by me, because it appeared broken all at once while I was working on something totally different. However, a thousand thank you.
@hannah: I tried to require an updating of my php version, but unfortunately it is not possible at the moment. I hope that when the website will be cloned on the production server, which I hope running a more recent version of php, I will not find bad surprises. In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Virtue Header

Lazy Load by WP Rocket. can easily break other plugins or how things load, especially if you are adding in some caching plugins that are doing strange things. I can’t see your site so I can’t guess as to the issues you are facing.Ben

Hi

I’d like the 3 columns to be fairly evenly spaced; the first row has a layout builder which is fine the way it is.
Could you help me please?Thank you so much.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Blog Post Bottom Carousel not working
Hi,
My Zip Recipes Plugin developer has found the problem why my blog post bottom carousel is not working (all posts displaying individually not in a carousel).
Virtue premium theme is overriding the <select> element that’s used in Zip Recipes for ratings. Turning off ratings or recipe reviews in Zip Recipes > Extensions fixes this. Can this be fixed in the theme?
At the moment, I have turned off recipe ratings and recipe reviews, so the carousel is working. But I need to turn on these 2 features for better google rankings.
This issue only happens for desktop version of my website not mobile version. Mobile version post bottom carousel is working properly.
Thank you.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHey Kevin… I decided the easiest way to work around this was to use Page Builder, enter a row with 4 containers, and then write my own html with images, a hover effect, and links. So the Image Menu code you would want to look at is no longer up on my website.
That said, I think both the problem and solution are pretty clear. The individual image containers which the visual menu creates don’t provide any unique identifying information to the “gtm.click” event trigger. The easiest solution would be if each container had a unique id, e.g. id=”im1″, “im2”, etc. Currently the only identifier that comes through is class=’home-message’, but all of the menu items share this same class. You could generate an id automatically, or add a text box in Theme Options>Home Layout>Home Image Menu dialog to allow me to enter a unique id manually for each container.
I hope that’s helpful. Tag Manager is a very useful program that works with Analytics and Ad Manager, allowing you to define conversions based on click events (among other things). In this case, the image menu takes users to a different domain, which I don’t control, so I needed to capture the event from the click. Frustrating I couldn’t
You can mark this item as resolved, if you’d like. Or if you guys decide to make a change to solve the problem, I’d be happy to test it for you.
Hello Kadence team:
Long time not posting a question but now I need your assistance. I am building a new website with Virtue, and I need to have the top bar with low opacity so it will show in the background the image of the slider. As it is now, the slider start after the top bar. Right now I lower the opacity of the white background of the top bar but I still can’t see the slide in the background (this is where you see GB Video Editor Canada placed on the top left, that has a white background with low opacity. How can I place the slider starting from the very top so when I lowe the opacity of the white background to say 50% I can see the slide? I have a little mockup but I can’t attach it. Here is the website; I am just starting to build it: *Login to see linkIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi, my site http://www.indigohypnosis.co.uk has a logo on the desk top it looks really good and clear but on the mobile it is tiny and not that clear, can you advise in any way please? Thanks.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
Can you please link to your site so I can take a look at how you’re setting this up?
Also, can you link to the google documentation so I can better understand what you’re trying to do? I’ve never set this up before and would like to read about it.

1. I’m seeing all of the drop downs appear the same. Can you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing:
https://postimages.org2. I’m not sure why this is happening. Try going to Theme Options> Main Settings, and set the site to fullwidth instead of boxed. Does that make a difference?
3. Just add the font weight like this:
#content div.product form.cart .variations label { font-size: 12px; font-weight: bold; }-Kevin
