    Hi guys,

    First off, thank you so much for making awesome themes- I’ve been using Virtue and Pinnacle for years and your support has always been excellent.

    I’ve been having a couple issues with the front page and with some of my galleries (Virtue theme) and I was hoping you could take a look. It seems to have started around the end of February (I think when my host GoDaddy switched the site to WordPress 5.1, although I’m not sure if that is related or not).

    When I visit the front page ( it always shows the logo and menu items, but it doesn’t always show the kadence slider and/or homepage widget content below it. Sometimes it might load the slider but no content below, other times it just shows white space below the logo and menu. The weird thing is when you reload the page it usually loads perfectly. It works fine on mobile, this just impacts desktop (I tested in Chrome and Firefox on multiple computers).

    Another (related?) issue shows up on posts with a gallery at the bottom (example: I don’t use a plugin gallery, it’s just set to default grid, but sometimes it loads disconnected with white spaces in between the images. A quick reload of the post usually activates/fixes the grid alignment, but I’m not sure if anyone will do that.

    I thought it was a cache issue (I cleared multiple times) or a plugin issue (I removed inactive plugins and removed heavy ones like jetpack) but nothing has fixed it. GoDaddy said it would be related to the theme, so I was wondering if this was something you might be able to help with.

    Thanks again as always!

    Good Morning,
    I am working on a page that, when editing, looks fine, but when I go to view the finished page, the text in my paragraphs turns white and is impossible to read. I am working in the Kadence Blocks style. I have changed the body text font color to black as well as set the text to headings, which are also turned to black, and this didn’t help. I can get you login info if you need to take a look at the page, the website is set to private as I work on it.

    Thank you!

    I’ve compared my test site (posts section in dashboard running without errors) to my main site (cannot access posts section in dashboard at all) and they are running the same version of the theme, though outdated (now using 4.4.9). They both also seem to be running the same plugins.

    Would an outdated version of the theme be causing errors like this in the dashboard section? The only section I cannot access is Posts

    If so, I will try to update as soon as possible after speaking with the developer who instructed me not to update.

    SOLVED:
    All you need to do is, go into the MX Records of the Email Preferences (within CPanel)
    and change the Local Mail Exchange to Remote Mail Exchange. When the website tries sending emails to the email address with the website’s domain name, the web server attempts to address it locally.

    Godaddy things….

    Thanks 🙂

    Hey,
    This topic is getting long and very confusing because things have changed on your site. Please for any new questions create a new topic. Thanks!!

    1. Looks like you changed which menu is shown on mobile, so this is closed?

    2. I only see the search in your topbar so add this css do not remove it and post back here if you are not seeing it work:

    #topbar .top-menu-search-btn:hover {
        color: #eaa835;
        background: transparent;
    }

    3. It sounds like this is resolved?

    4. Please create a new topic.

    On the first link, those are built in site origin page builder using the “Ascend Icon Flip Box” widget. You can add that to any page using page builder.

    The second site is set up using X theme widgets to get a similar effect.

    That’s the trick. I can’t seem to find the feature itself with Theme Options or the Kadence Blocks. Here is where I used it on another site but used a demo content (https://redceltstone.com/). Just scroll down on that example to see flip boxes. Another option is to scroll down on this one to orange box where you mouse over to get contact icon (https://www.verticalaspect.com/).

    Hi Kevin,

    I can see all the logos correctly when I click on them, also when I check from the website. Maybe it’s the special characters? But then none of them would work…

    If you want, you can put random names in the CSS and I’ll add the file names later.

    Thank you! 🙂

    Hello,

    This can be done with some simple CSS. Just upload the image to your site, link to it here, and I can provide the CSS for you.

    Hey,
    Can you confirm using https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ that emails are able to be sent from your site?

    When you run the test email does it go through to the email address you have set for the contact form?

    Hi Hannah

    Thank you for your message

    I just tried this one too but does not go either.

    I can think on 3 things:

    – admin email is different than the contact, i tried to set as the same but does not go either

    – we built under a different server/ domain and transfered the ready site/ work using all-in-one to this domain

    or – its a godaddy account with free ssl (lets encrypt). i heard a few cases that godaddy can have a “odd” way of distribution.

    by any chance it could be related?

    Many thanks.

    Hey,
    Just to add there is no easy way to convert the widgets in site origin to blocks. 🙁

    Thanks Kevin.

    I am copying it from the Libsyn site where it says ‘get embed code’ so that you can get the code to add the player to your site. I am pasting that code into the body of the post along with the rest of the content for that post.

    I tried the link you provided but got a 404 page not found. I tried adding the http:// part from your example to the code from Libsyn and it didn’t work.

    Any other help would be appreciated

    Hi!

    When using Page attibutes >> template “contact”

    Am i correct to think that the messages generated from this form would be going to the email marked below?

    Theme options >> misc settings >>
    Contact Form Email –
    Sets the email for the contact page email form.

    We are here trying to figure it out as the messages are not going to the email we marked above, neither to the email used as website admim.

    Is there any “trick”, code, test or magic that i can make it work?

    Many many thanks and a great evening to you

    Hi Kevin

    I contact them first, and they (GoDaddy) tried a site-restore from a back-up which didn’t work. They were not able to help much otherwise and suggested I contact you as it’s a premium theme, and it appears to be an error calling up code in the theme.

    I am stumped and the client is unhappy.

    #218867

    Hello,

    I’m not sure what exactly is causing this error, but I suggest contacting your host to see if they can access your site. They may be able to load from a backup and get your site up and running again.

    Let me know what they say.

    Greetings, I have several sites I’m working on that mostly were assembled using siteorigin’s pagebuilder plugin. Now I want to use Blocks and Gutenberg, which works great for new pages and posts, but when I need to edit existing posts or content that was made using pagebuilder, I need to go reconfigure everything to open that up. Any good process defined for migrating existing content to the newer system?

    Thanks,
    Chris
