Hi guys,
I just moved the site from the dev server to the live server, and when you scroll down, the page content is on top of the header, and it becomes transparent. I haven’t seen this before in the many times I’ve used Virtue. Any thoughts?

Was it the latest theme update that did something?
Thank you,
Luke

I am using Ascend Premium Child. Clients doesn’t have access to control panel of current site I am getting content from, just the wp admin. Client’s media gallery uses Cornerstone to edit (*Login to see link Any suggestions on how I can set up the gallery page in Ascend in a similar manner? When you click on each tab above images, it only shows those tagged to that filter and stays on the same page.

Hey Ben, sure thing! The website that gave me the idea was https://carolinaburglaralarm.com/ It’s located at the bottom of the page, in the “Powering a smart home” section.
Thanks and take care!

February 21, 2019 at 3:04 pm #217369Hey,
So let me see if I can clarify. From your screenshot it looks like you have turned on PageBuilder to display by default for your portfolio posts. That makes it so the content area is a pagebuilder interface. Perhaps you want a different interface? You can click on the visual or text tab at the top. Or you can even turn off pagebuilder for portfolio posts and use block editor to edit with.
If none of that is helping then perhaps you can show me a portfolio post you want to recreate from one of the demos: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium/#demo_sites and you can send a login to your site so I can help you add that demo and you can see ways to create it.
A note about the section where you had value title, value description. That simply created a list. Because of things like page builder or the block editor creating a list is very easy and you get much more flexibility using normal tools to create a list. This is why that isn’t an option in Ascend. And it’s only left in virtue for backward compatibility.
Does that help?

February 21, 2019 at 10:18 am #217313Hey,
I also tried with your login information, was not able to access your site due to the same error.I also was not able to find any email from you. Which email address are you using?
Perhaps it would be best to email [email protected]
Ben

This is actually the best channel of support. That way Ben and Hannah will be able to access the conversation incase they have any suggestions.
You can host images with this site and share them here pretty easily:

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Added symbols after URL
Good morning!
I have a problem with one page on website and cannot figure out why it is occurring.
The web URL looks fine both on back ens and the front end. But when I copy it to hare somewhere, automatically additional symbols appear at the end of the address (%E2%80%8B/).
If I share the link without these symbols, it doesnt work.
Why is it happening and how can I clean this link address from all these extra symbols?

Hi, I purchase the license to edit my product page.
I got the error message saying that the website is currently unable to handle this request (error 500) when I want to edit with elementor.
Go thru the forum and found that error 500 is related to server and I need to contact the host.
Can I request for a refund as the host never returns to my message and I am not able to use the plugin at all…
Thank you

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi team
I’ve got real problem on a live site – sakalajewes.co.uk
I originally set up a pair of sites with a small list widget. I then decided that the whole footer could be better done by using the footer facility. So I deleted the widget leaving the widget areas empty.
sakala.co.uk/goa played nice. The live site did not. On the web the list persists whatever I do.
I do not use caching plugins and have cleared my browser cache. I have tried hiding the elements with CSS. I tried placing another widet in colun four but that never showed up. I thought I would overide the whole footer template but the original is intentinally blank.
Help!
In forum: Virtue ThemeFebruary 20, 2019 at 4:58 pm #217206Hey,
That isn’t a theme thing, that notice means that WordPress is currently trying to update. If your server stalled while trying to update and your site is stuck there then you will need to contact your host and have them remove the .maintaince file from the server.Ben
