I would like to show testimonials on my daughter’s site : *Login to see link , but I am confused .
I have read Kadence Doc : *Login to see link and *Login to see link but I am not sure how to go about it.

1. I would like to create a testimonials page that could be reached via a sub-menu of the “about” in the main navigation menu . I would divide it into 2 groups ( “Clients feedback” and ” Press Reviews” ).

2. I would also like to show some testimonials on the home page maybe as a carousel widget or using a shortcode ? I can’t find shortcodes in the new Testimonials post editor.

Sorry to ask such basic questions, but I feel stuck right now.

I would like to make it like zappos website, where there will be a horizontal bar, when the menu doesn’t fit the screen.

Hey,
I’m looking at your content I don’t see anything that is multilingual, You seem to only be defined as the already defined site language.

I think google is supposed to ignore it if it’s the same as your site language.

You can run a test using something like: https://technicalseo.com/seo-tools/hreflang/

There you can see the the tag is there but it’s not defining anything more then what’s already set as the site language.

What are you interpreting hreflang tags to be?

Hi Ben,

It’s a internal site so I don’t have a link. However, it is using the default CSS. The only change I made was to add a border on the top of the footer that I put in the Advanced Settings > CSS while testing CSS changes I want to make. I did try removing the border but the same issue persisted.

Hey,

Here’s some CSS that will add a underline to all of your links on your site:

a:hover {
    border-bottom: 2px solid #000;
    -webkit-transition: border .2s ease-in-out;
    -o-transition: border .2s ease-in-out;
    transition: border .2s ease-in-out;
}

It’s styled the same as the links in Ascend theme. This will effect every link on your site, including menu items. If you’d like to be more specific or any other changes, please post a link to an example link on your site.

Any idea, how can i solve this ?

I think there is a chance that is malware. I would try re-installing WordPress through the updates page as well. If it doesn’t go away after plugins and that then you may need to contact your hosting provider to determine if it is malware and restore the site from a backup, then check your server security.

Actually, the slider wont display any wider than its container size. So to get it to show full page width, you have a few options. If you’re using the new editor, you can add it to a fullwidth column in the Kadence Blocks row layout block:

You can use site origin page builder and add the slider to a text widget that’s set to display “fullwidth stretched.” This will also work in elementor.

Another option is rather than adding the slider to your page content, try adding it in Theme Options> Home Slider. Then it will display in the same area and be fullwidth.

Let me know if any of those options work for you.

Hey,
What type of server are you on? Are you using a shared?

2G RAM isn’t very much, considering all the plugins I saw you were running I would not call your site small. The number or pages or posts you have means very little till you get well beyond the 100s. But the number of plugins and which plugins you are choosing to run. That means way more.

I have the Latest Posts feature on the homepage of my website ( http://www.gardeningnomad.com ) and the tile has always been ‘latest from the blog’. Recently I noticed that after the blog items there’s another title ‘Latest Posts’ at the bottom of the page. I don’t know how this appeared (I haven’t updated the site in a while) and I can’t get rid of it. (sorry of this is a basic questions… I have tried various things, but it won’t go away).

Dreamhost support weren’t able to solve the issue that server can’t handle all the processing after trying dozen of things. And they say exactly the same – the only solution is server upgrade.
Do you believe that current 2G RAM isn’t enough for a server to process my not big at all website?

You should see your api key here: https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/
Then you can paste it into your site in Appearance > Getting Started > API License Activation.
Let me know if this doesn’t work for you!
