I tried to change my header image on the home page from a background video to no header (instead I just wanted widgets added to my page – so you will see the truck which is what I want)
Now what’s happened is the homepage is showing both the original video background and the new header image below it and I can’t get it off. Please can someone assist?

I just had a look at my site and it seems to have suddenly lost all of the layouts made through Page Builder – the layouts are still there on the Page Edit pages but not on the actual site. Any thoughts as to what might have happened?

I’m seeing quite a few mixed content errors on your site, meaning that some pages are being loaded over http and others https. Woocommerce doesn’t have any majoir reports of breaking sites and the latest is being used by thousands+

Hey,
Kadence recaptcha will not show on a contact form 7 form.I see your screenshot is not showing any error with Recaptcha that is an error with your form not able to send. It’s possible you don’t have a mail server correctly installed for the site or something else. I suggest you check your php error logs to learn more and talk with your host about the sites mail server.

It’s hard to know what would cause that without seeing the error logs. “breaking the site” is vague enough that I don’t know I could guess. I suggest creating a backup local site and updating there to see how things go.

Sorry, when you say one “site,” do you mean “page?” If you want to only effect that page, then add the images to your media, then link to them here. I can write you some CSS to customize the logo and background if you can provide the images.

so the client contacted me to say that the categories suddenly stopped working (the menus link to category pages). I couldn’t work out what the issue was so I started to update the plugins.
I updated wordpress, then started with the plugins. Woocommerce broke the site.
Can you suggest anything? I’ve restored a backup for now but concerned that any updates I make will break it again.

Yeah, for the image of the pink pipe, I would try first using a much larger version of that image. Something at least twice the size of the current one. That should allow it to be cropped properly.
Just for future reference, all images on your site should really be at least 1600px by 1600px, or around that size to display optimally.

I would like to change the background in christmas colours/pics. I never changed that and I never found out how it works. I changes the header, but how can I change the sites Background?

Did you complete the form and submit to test it out? I haven’t received anything. Every time I put info in and click submit, a orange boxed error message appears which implies spam. Here’s a screenshot.

I wonder if I use Kadence Recaptcha it would solve the problem. I assume KRecaptcha required a site and secret key from Google also.
