Hi Gabriel,
There isn’t a built-in function to move the menu below the sitewide banner. Are you using a child theme? I wouldn’t recommend updating the theme files unless you were doing so.
If you use the standard header (theme options > main settings) and select the third logo layout, then an option will appear to “Make the primary menu Sticky”. Would that work for you?

Hi, I am designing an E-commerce website with Virtue Premium and I need to move the nav menu(s) under the sitewide banner.
I searched for a solution but everything I found was either to complicated (I’m learning php and have a medium level in css), or simply not working
Eventually, I would also need only the Menu to be sticky (as from what I understand, the sticky header option makes the entire header sticky).

Hi Team,
Excuse me if this falls outside your remit but the complexity of this one is becoming overwhelming!

On this site I am using SearchWP to surface PDFs saved with Simple Download Monitor, which creates custom post type sdm_downloads.
I have created a supplemental search engine which returns results using the temporary template page-searchwp-supplemental.php but this gives only a very basic list of titles.

I would like to get to the point where the results use the theme formatting and I have identified templates/content-searchresults.php and templates/content-loop-searchresults.php as the relevant files.

Can you give any guidance so that I can end up with a display of results similar to here, showing a grid of image, title and download button.

Very many thanks for any direction you can provide.

I am not sure what I have done, a menu button drops down to another line before the menu enters a different reactive state.
Some users that enter the site with browser windows sized down or have smaller screens only see the menu it its broken state.

When viewing the site on a mobile device users are able to scroll left and right. The footer width is not set correctly.

Can you point me in the correct direction to get this fixed?

If your theme options have been reset then that would mean there was database data loss. It’s not saved in files but in the server database. Have you checked with your hosting provider? The only way to resolve an issue like that is to get a backup of your site.

Also please let us know what version of hte theme you are using, what the last thing you did was.

Just to be clear Breadcrumbs do not show browser history. They show site hierarchy. It’s not a representation of how you got somewhere but an ability to navigate through a site’s hierarchy.

You can use both actually! Your static homepage (where you’re using siteorigin) is enabled on the homepage via page content in the homepage layout manager. Then the portfolio carousel can separately be enabled. If you’re wanting the portfolio carousel mixed into your page content you can use this shortcode: [carousel type=portfolio orderby=date columns=4 items=8 speed=9000 scroll=all] Just paste that into a text widget within your site origin editor.

Hi,

in order to speed up our site further I would like to disable “select2” under Misc theme settings. (so that the select2.min.js, around 80KB is not loaded).

I cannot find any docs on what this setting does, I do not think much unless you have some radio / select buttons, right? We also have WooCommerce anyway which comes with its own version of select2, so not sure why we would need it… I guess it was enabled by default some years ago and we never bothered. Am I missing anything, happy to hear a potential risks/problem in case there are any?

For some reason I can no longer see the custom CSS. The page has just reverted back to the starting page before anything has been customized on that site. As far as I can tell, all the files are still there, everything is updated. I have been digging through forums without luck. It seems like something is just not connected. I’ve even got back to the one I made that’s hosted locally and that also has no customizations for some reason.
