In reply to: FOOTER – kt_footer_sitewide_shortcode
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello,
I would like to hide my footer_sitewide_shortcode (google map) from all the pages except the Home and Contacts page.
I tried this code individually but it’s not working: .page-id-7114 .kt_footer_sitewide_shortcode {display: none !important;}.
Thank you.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Accounts problem
July 25, 2018 at 4:55 pm #197022Just a few things to consider. I strongly advise against using a plugin like “simple ssl” just properly setup ssl for your site and you don’t have to have a plugin continually editing dangerous files and filtering all your content.
https://www.kadencewp.com/adding-ssl-wordpress/
You have a setting in WPML that has to do with logging into one site logs you into both. I suggest testing with that options as well as talking with WPML support. That could be part of your issue (although I think it’s certainly got to do with your server).

Hello,
See this post:
https://kb.kadencethemes.com/knowledge-base/use-different-sliders-for-multilingual-site/Just use a shortcode option for your home slider, and in the translations for your home page, translate the shortcode to the one that you want to work for the other language.
Let me know if that makes sense.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi. I’ve recently created a new site using the latest versions. I need a tool that will allow a search on a variety of categories which I believe the plugin Search & Filter By Designs & Code should work *Login to see link I’ve downloaded and activated but it only shows the plugin name with a page that offers technical support. It does not offer the option to add a new search form in the sub menu as shown here *Login to see link I can’t see any issues in their support forum so I think it may be an issue with the Virtue Theme. Do you have any ideas? Alternatively do you know of any similar plugins that will allow multiple search options using categories?
TIA

July 25, 2018 at 12:50 pm #196963Hey,
Ok so it’s not a multisite. The issue I see is that you can’t flush your permalink settings. Anytime you try on your site you get an error saying that you’ve hit the max memory. That max is showing 140MB even though you’ve tried to set it higher locally so your host is probably putting that limit on you.
I suggest deactivating plugins until you can access and flush your permalinks. Leave WPML active but deactivate other plugins to see if you get drop the memory being used down below 140 to flush.

Hi Richard,
What happens when you try to login? Would you mind sending login info? You can set as a private reply.
I’m seeing several 403 (forbidden) errors in your site. This is typically a permissions issue with your host. Have you tried mentioning that to them? Who is your host?Hannah

Hello guys,
I have noticed that I have some problems. I googled around and found it could be a conflict with a theme as well as many other things. I have virtue for a long time, but I have to say I am totally desperate.
I tried my hosting tech support, but they just gave up as they could not resolve the issue.
At the moment I am unable to log in into my dashboard as well create any new accounts. Or log in into any account.
I have a multi site and it works via one, but not the other.
So I can’t log in via: *Login to see link
or *Login to see link
or password reset , though I do not need to reset the password. I have done that via different routes and It never works. It is just that no matter what I try, whether it is registering new account or logging in, the page will just refresh.
I can, however log in through the rdbroyal.com/wp-admin and then I stay logged in when I go to .SK domain, but that is more of a workaround and it does not solve the issue. If you can help me, I will probably build a statue in your honor.
Just let me know what you need.Richard
In forum: Ascend ThemeJuly 24, 2018 at 9:58 am #196841Hey,
Let’s start by clarifying some things. First, your message does NOT mean you have an error on your site. It’s a suggestion for speed from a robot that doesn’t actually know how your site works. Whoever you “received it” from is giving you the best case scenario based on generalized suggestions. NOT based on the actual needs of your site. There are many good performance and user experience reasons to in fact use render blocking scripts. It’s not black and white and eliminating render blocking doesn’t always speed up your site.SO when you say “I have so many problems on my site that I don’t know where to start?” where are you getting this? Who is telling you this and are you interpreting the information you are getting correctly?
Now with that said if you would like to async load your scripts thats fine, you need to be aware of what that does to your loading experience and aware that many plugins won’t’ work properly if you do this so testing is required.
Please read this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/
What caching plugin are you using?

In forum: Ascend ThemeJuly 24, 2018 at 4:05 am #196810Hi Ben, I have so many problems on my site that I don’t know where to start?
I received the following message and read about it but it is mind Boggling and I am worried I will destroy my site further:-
Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Your page has 4 blocking script resources and 12 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.
None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.Remove render-blocking JavaScript:
*Login to see linkThe request did not specify any referer. Please ensure that the client is sending referer or use the API Console to remove the referer restrictions.
I went into the following, but dont know where to make the changes. Can you please direct me?
*Login to see linkIn forum: Ascend ThemeJuly 24, 2018 at 3:13 am #196808hi all, i need again your help, now i have this site *Login to see link where the left corner logo is always visible, is there a way to have it hidden when the site is on top and show it when the white header bar is showed… actually i want the same header bar logic applied to the logo…

AngeloIn forum: Virtue ThemeJuly 24, 2018 at 2:43 am #196806I need some assistance in figuring out what I need to do to get my site to look decent on mobile/tablet. I got the site looking the way we wanted on the desktop but a lot of things seem to be out of whack on mobile & tablet and I am definitely not proficient in my mobile design skills. http://www.organizeyourlifestyle.com
1) the topbar is gone, and my client’s contact info is in the topbar. Is there any way to either have a mobile topbar or to maybe move the topbar info to within the menu?
2) the spacing in the two text boxes on the home page looks odd when look at it vertically. Horizonally it’s fine, but with vertical orientation the text looks very choppy.
3) the virtue icon flip boxes are sized/spaced strangely. On the desktop, I have padding between each box but that disappears on mobile and they seem to be overlapping.
4) the footer – is it possible to have the footer set up with two columns for desktop and just have everything centered in one column for mobile?
5) if you click on the “services” page – under declutter & organize, I couldn’t figure out how to get the layout set up the way my client wanted – she wanted those two columns with bullet points exactly as show on desktop so I just made them into a jpg for the time being. While it’s not great, it works for now. However, that whole section looks narrow and size strangely on mobile. I’m sure it has to do with some CSS I added when trying to figure out how to make those columns but I’m not sure what.
On this same page, there are 3 flipping boxes. On mobile, vertically these look fine. However, on horizontal, some of the boxes overlap. It is the opposite on tablet – they look fine horizontally and overlap when vertical.
6) how can I center all of the page titles on mobile? They are centered on desktop but show left-aligned on mobile, only when verticle.
Fortunately it’s a small site so there’s not too much I need to to tweak. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!
