Good morning,

I’m using Ascend’s mega menu feature for my client’s product list and he has 5 categories. I found an answer from a previous forum question to use the custom css below to display the 5 columns, so that’s working.

.sf-menu.sf-menu-normal>li.kt-lgmenu.kt-menu-column-4>ul>li {
width: 20%;
}

Is there any way for the mega menu to display the full width of the header and be center aligned? At the moment, it’s only about 75% – 80% and left aligned. Here’s the link to the working client site so you can see what I’m talking about.

Is there a more general code to reduce menu spacing as this doesn’t seem to work for me. I’m not sure which header style I’m using!
I’m looking at http://www.felicityschocolate.com regarding this, however it’s something I’d like to be able to do on other sites.

Hi Ben,

You got me thinking when you couldn’t replicate the problem, so I tested it in another website where I use your theme etc. and it worked.

Checking setting for setting, it was the fact that SiteOrigins Page Builder was set to Network Active instead of active from within the single site (we are on a WP multisite setup).

Sorry to waste your time.

Any plans to make the Page Builder available within the custom tabs? 🙂

Hiya,

I have a site where I use a portfolio grid on the homepage. This works great on desktop as you get the titles when you hover but on an iPad or mobile it is less intuitive. Is there some css I can use which will switch on the Hover Square and Portfolio Title when on a mobile?

We are using SiteOrigins Page Builder to create the product description, however if we use a Custom Tab, the content from within the SiteOrigins Page Builder is also displayed in the Custom Tab when viewing the product. If we use the text editor it works fine.

Found this information about SiteOrigins Page Builder in a blog thread… not sure if it’s helpful.

Discovered that the SiteOrigins Page Builder doesn’t write anything in the standard content area. The content of the panels are stored in the _postmeta-Table, the entries are stored under the meta-key (userdefined field) “panels_data”.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hello Team Kadence!

I have a few questions:

Some of my sites, despite being activated, never get the notice that the theme is ready for updating. I’m not sure why. Any hints on how to fix this? I currently login to my Kadence account, download the newest copy of the theme, and upload it via FTP but it’s time consuming and I’d like to be able to do updates via the admin dashboard. As an example, I just checked one of my sites and realized it’s still running 4.4.7.
After the update to 4.6.2, I can’t save my save theme settings. I keep getting a “unable to create temporary file” error. However, I have no issues with 4.6.0 (which I happened to have a copy of so I used that to rollback). Any hints on this one?

I don’t know of a construction plugin that would let you still show one live page on your site.

I think you just will need to use a construction plugin to create you temp page and not something in your real site.

You could hack into your htaccss to run a site-wide redirect then didn’t affect your IP but id all others but that wouldn’t be my recommendation and would require you know a lot of about server files.

I tried using construction mode plugins, but they make me use a landing page of them, and I want to use my custom landing page.

Do you guys have a sugestion on that?

Hey,
I still see the javascript error on your site, and so I still see the issue with your fullwidth layout not working because javascript is broken.

If you right click > then click inspect. Do you not see this in your console log?

I am facing a problem with the sliders when displayed on mobile.

I displayed some “button” on the images of my slider : when on desktop the buttons are layed out as I want (on the top of each other) but they are completely shifted when it comes to mobile.
