Hi all, I have a couple of questions.
First, I used the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle so I could make some great buttons; I wanted to add them side by side in the widget area, but I can’t get them to line up even with the Logo.

Second, when I was testing in mobile responsiveness (even though they are crooked) they disappear when you move the window to test mobile. So, I was hoping to get the buttons to stay and both go below the header in mobile because that would be great to see those buttons to tap to email or tap to call my local business client.

Thank you. I did find some code on the forum to try, but it did not do anything.

You are getting a mixed content error on your site meaning that some content is being loaded from https and others http. This likely has something to do with the issue.

I see your head broke still and no favicon. browser will cache a favicon so you should try in a different browser.

The output of your broken head is a little different on each site, Both are broken and you should not have a broken head but on your freshfoliodesign site the break happens a little later and that keeps your favicon loading.

It’s not that I don’t trust you; I’m trying to understand the discrepancy about it working on one site, but not the other.

I took out the FB Pixel Code and the WP Like Button Plug-in, cleared the cache and refreshed. That caused the favicon to reappear.

I then put the FB Pixel info back in and the favicon remained. Then I reactivated the WP Like Button, cleared the cache and refreshed. The favicon stayed in place.

What does the header look like now?

Hello,

if you’re preparing your images before uploading and using an image optimizing plugin, then lazy load isn’t really necessary. Have you seen this post that outlines best practices for adding images to your site?:

When combined with a good host and caching solution, your site should be plenty fast without lazy load. Is that helpful?

Hmm, I’m seeing the error “RefererNotAllowedMapError” “Your site URL to be authorized”

Which would mean the domain isn’t wanting to checkout.

Can you tell me exactly what you’ve added in the api for your domain?

Hi Ben,

thx a lot! Luckily it seems I cried wolf a little too early, the database is not abducted, only not in cPanel bec of how my former admin moved my sites to my new VPS.

So the site was hacked with the very helpful viagra and cialis suggestiopns (how do they know???) – but my site is still on my server, not only forwarded to their server 🙂 Wanted to ask you if you had ever heard of a hack like that … but with SSL and AIOWPS … that would have been above me …

Still its a surprise since I use AIOWPS … somehow someone got access

ok, back to recovery work 🙂

Sure, but it doesn’t change what I wrote. On both your sites the head tag is broken because fb-root div is being added into the head tag and you can’t have a div in a head tag. I suggest you fix the clear and easy to see the problem first before you look for another especially as I still believe this is your real issue.

I’m only seeing 4 portfolio types on your site. Items refers to the portfolio types, not individual posts. If you want 7 types to show, you need to add more types.

That’s odd. I have the same plug-in on both sites (rebeccagallagher.com and freshfoliodesign.com), but only rebeccagallagher.com has the issue with the favicon. Now, that site also has Shopify as part of the site, and it is the Shopify logo.

The odd part is that the RG favicon shows on the Shop portion of the site, but the Shopify shows on the other part of the site.

I believe the problem with the favicon started with the integration of Shopify (which I guess would make some sense because of the graphic showing).

Is there anything that conceivably could have happened there?
