    Hi,

    On this site, I’ve added a gold line as a border-bottom under the imageslider container on the home page (or postfeat container on other pages) but below screen-widths of 780px, the behaviour changes.

    Above 780px, the horizontal line stays within the body outline. Below 780px, the horizontal line goes full width and therefore goes out side the outline.

    I’m unsure if I have caused this to happen, but is there a fix please?
    Many thanks,
    Phil.

    Hmm, I’m not familiar with those extensions so I’m not sure if they could be what’s conflicting. I don’t feel like it is one of your plugins because neither Ben or I are experiencing this when we test your site. Ben is actually backpacking for the weekend, but when he gets back I’m sure he will dig into this more and be able to provide more insight. Are you able to work on it currently? Or is the issue still happening?

    Hi Team,

    On this site under development I have included links to the individual staff pages. The link is based upon the staff featured image plus the excerpt on hover. At the moment, only the name of the staff (title) is clickable for the link.

    The client has requested the entire rectangle is clickable as visitors may be unaware that they need to hover on the title.

    Please could you suggest a fix to achieve this? I am using a child theme so I could modify the appropriate file if necessary. But ideally there’s a hook I could use in functions.php – or even via CSS…

    Very many thanks,
    Phil.

    The “sold out” badge (on single product page) is not showing when a custom Woo Template is used.
    I’m using the ‘Woo Product: Gallery’ widget when building the template. Should I be using another widget?

    This is on a test site, so I’ll provide login details in a follow up post.

    Site with shadow line below header

    Can I do this with our Virtue Premium?

    I tried these two CSS options, but couldn’t get them to work.

    header#kad-header-menu {
    box-shadow: 0px 1px 4px rgba(50, 50, 50, 0.35);
    }

    .kad-header-menu-outer {
    box-shadow: 0px 3px 3px rgba(50, 50, 50, 0.35);
    z-index: 1;
    position: relative;
    }

    Hi Hannah

    I’m playing around with another solution, trying to make a similar look to the sitewide footer CTA in the Col. 1 of my footer widget, as you will see if you have a look at https://www.stephenjudges.com/.

    A few questions:

    1. The button size (pinnacle shortcode) is a little small. When I select large it does not change. Have you got some CSS to make it bigger, say medium?
    2. I’d also like to make the button text bold and larger.
    3. How can I get rid of the grey footer bit above the column 1, so that it goes from the white page background directly into the teal footer.
    4. Is it possible to select with CSS the background colour of the footer column 1?
    5. How do I perfectly vertically align the text on the left “Want to be notified…” and the button, please? I tried valign, and it worked for the button, but not the text on the left.
    6. When I click the button, the popup appears, but the whole page behind it shifts to the left about 20px, leaving a weird gap on the right of the page. Any idea what’s going on here?

    Thanks so much for your help!

    When do you plan to make your site live? It’s hard to tell what is blocking the title from showing without being able to see the site and code.

    Hi, I’m working on an art website using the Ascend theme, where the artist has expressed that ratings should be turned off, which I’ve done, but a ‘not rated’ message appears alongside each product. We’d like that message to go away, which I’d assumed would happen automatically when ratings are off. Thoughts?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Hannah

    I had a look at the modal thing you suggested, but I don’t understand how I would link that to the sitewide footer CTA or otherwise use it?

    I’d like to be able to use the sitewide footer CTA to trigger the Thrive popup, if there is any way?

    Thanks for your help.

    Best wishes

    Hi

    I would love to have a thrive lightbox open when I click on the sitewide footer CTA button. Is there any way I can link the button to the lightbox shortcode ([thrive_2step id=’484′]Trigger goes here[/thrive_2step]) via CSS (or whatever!)?

    The site is .

    Many thanks!

    Hi Guys
    I am trying to add some JavaScript to a new Page to show weather report from an external website. The code was generated from the particular site and am not sure how to add it into that particular page.

    I installed a plugin called Scripts-n-Styles, created Hoops (generates shortcode) but it didn’t work. I have since removed the plugin and would like to keep it with the Kadence theme.

    Searching the forum I have come across the Headers and Footers scipts but have no idea how to add in this particular JavaScript code. I have added in a link to a text file so you can download from my Dropbox.

    Any help would be most grateful

    Sorry for all my previous questions but am learning WP as I go 🙂

    Currently, I can’t add anything to the cart on your site. Looks like it’s because you have some plugin or some script breaking things. It could be from your “pum-overlay” something plugin but best if you deactivate plugins one by one and see which is causing the issue.

    Hey,
    I guess I’m a little confused. I see the option to update right in your admin. You would just need to click update and wordpress would walk you through.

    I went ahead and did it for you but on any other sites you can just click to update on the update option in your appearance > themes. Let me know if you don’t see this.

    I still see that CSS in your child theme. Did you clear your site’s cache after removing it?

    Hi Ben, ah the site seems to be broken. I can get to the admin area OK but when I try to view the site nothing shows and the menus don’t seem to work…Eek

    Cheers

    ok check the site now.

    I’m going to have to add something because to convert you have to turn on the reviews save and reload the page for the converter to be powered up.
