Yeah so even with that can’t you deploy a normal wordpress site?

No need to respond I’m just curious 🙂

ok, interesting. Your images were set to pull from http address and not an https address. since your site is using https the images weren’t being pulled correctly.

I updated the latest news – picture framing in preston slider so you can see it working.

Just need to edit the sliders and updated the url to use https.

Odd, I can’t duplicate the issue on my site. It seems that the slider is loading, but something is hiding it. For now, just make the change you previously did to get the slider to show. I’ll mark this for a developer followup so that Ben can provide some feedback.

I have had an issue where the legacy sliders have stopped working on the site. I tried one of the pro sliders I have done and that worked fine using the short-code, but none of the legacy ones would work. I have now replaced the legacy sliders with pro versions so the panic is over but I wondered if anyone else had this issue or whether you were aware of any bugs in the new updates for the slider or Pinnacle theme?

    Hey Kevin

Currently the site wide default is full width blog post with recent posts at the bottom. That’s fine for most posts, but I’d like to be able to have the summary show in the side bar on some posts instead.

When you say “clearing the cache” what does that mean to you?

Usually, sites have caching plugins like wp-super-cache or your server has a caching plugin. Those have to be manually cleared and don’t have anything to do with your browser cache.

    Hello again,

I wrote earlier about not seeing the menu font changes reflected on the live site.

I am now having a similar problem with the content of the homepage.

My style of working is to constantly be testing changes and making adjustments, so it’s really a challenge for me to build a site if I can’t see how the changes are looking. Any insight you have about this would be extremely helpful.

Also, I anticipate you’ll ask so I will confirm –
I am testing in multiple browsers and clearing my cache. Sometimes I see changes, sometimes I don’t, even after clearning the cache and refreshing (or even restarting) the browser.

    Thank you!

Thanks everyone! I’ve cleared my cache, and I am seeing other more recent changes reflected on the site…

    Hey,
I’m seeing a javascript error on your site. Possible conflict with something else. Can you send me a login so I can test?

    Hi there,

I have changed the settings inside the Ascend theme to change the color of the menu text, but I am testing the website on three browsers and not seeing my changes reflected on the live site. Is there something I am forgetting to do?

Screenshot of what the inside dashboard looks like:

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

Can you provide a link to your site as well as some specifics of what you’re wanting to change so I can help with the CSS?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I have set my site width at 1440px. I set the the slider width at 1340px and on my laptop the slider looks perfect and aligned with the image menu items below.

When I view the site at a different divice the slider do not align with the image menu items and site width.

I dont want a site width slider.

    How to fix this?

    my site = http://www.shoeplace.nl

    And now?

    Hello Anette,

I just tested the button shortcode on my site and it’s working fine. How exactly are you trying to add the button? Does anything time out when you’re adding it?

    Hi,
I would like to change my caroussel post in the home to my site.
    Link:
    http://www.camponovo1.tempsite.ws

    For something like this:

(with the title above image, with greater prominence.

    Is possible?

    Hi!

I am building a new site and this time the Image Menu isn’t responding to mobile devices correctly. Instead of displaying 2 images beside each other when viewing it Landscape on mobiles – it just displays ONE at a time and leaves a big space unused – more scrolling for the user. I guess it might have something to do with padding, but I put it on 0 and no changes.

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Ben:
Thanks for the feedback. Does it make sense? Well, yes and no but I think the learning point you have made for me is something along the lines of …

    1. Focus on the page load speed and don’t go crazy over the other data (unless the page load speed is really bad.
    2. Tweaking stuff without knowing all of the impacts will likely lead to unwanted outcomes.
    3. Leave most plugins on auto unless you know what the heck you are doing.

As an analogy, what i think i am learning is like when the doctor says you (or someone) might have XXXX. Then we go to Google and get way to much information that is likely best not to know. If the web site isn’t on death’s door, likley best to not treat it too much.

    Cheers,
    Jim
