Topic: Customize Page Headers
I would like to change the page header layout for my pages (excluding my home page and main shop page)
Something similar to how it is laid out in the Bold child theme.After trying for a day I gave up and created a mockup in Photoshop in hopes I could get guidance here. I can’t seem to wrap my head around how to use the templates to customize things.
This is how I’d like the page header to look.
Title and breadcrumb centered with a light grey background strip.

On the Home Page the Flip Boxes Font Colour remains the same even though I have changed it in’Theme Options’> ‘Typography’ – please advise, thank you.

I have spent some time exploring the use of NavXT and discussing with the author.
The NavXT extension: Post Parents can do this and makes the crumb trail useable for posts. However, it requires the parent to be set manually per post which will be tricky for a large site.I wandered if there was a way to set up a list in functions.php that says “if post is this category, set parent page to this page“.

I switched your widget from a text widget to a custom html widget. I had guessed at this earlier. Whats happening is the page is being autowrapped with tags after shortcodes run which is not how it’s supposed to work. I couldn’t tell from the front end so I had thought you were using the “visual editor” widget or siteorigns editor widget which outputs similar to the text widget. The plan text widget doesn’t have a autograph on or off like the others.
You should be all set.

Actually it’s a woocommerce shortcode ([product_page id=”x”] in another shortcode. Nothing happing to the woocommerce box when you change the row layout. If you go to the site again you will find the woocommerce shortcode standalone below the white box.

I really don’t have time to do right now, none of the plugins are activated on localhost.
I notice on the main site, if the Kadence Related Content plugin is activated, all content on post and pages disappear, shows only a blank page! I’ve disabled the plugin network wide.

Whenever you paste something into wordpress you must paste into the text tab not the visual tab else it will pull in all the styling from the program, site or wherever you copied the text from. Does that make sense?

Kadence Simple Share Version 1.2.0 | Seems to work but on local, it slows down my server
The simple share plugin is literally very simple. It doesn’t do much, I’m confused how this could be slowing down your server? So if you can send me a login and send me a link directly to the pages that are loading slow that would help.
Also, it’s important to understand about caching, If you’re using it and it’s being built it won’t be built until you access the page logged out. Then you would build the cache and that cache would supply the response for future visits.

It looks like something is breaking the layout of your site. I would test your active plugins by deactivating one by one to see if the issue goes away when a certain plugin is OFF. Be sure to clear your cache if you’re running one.

One more issue with *Login to see link
When viewing the site on a tablet, in portrait it looks great, but when tablet is rotated to landscape there is a large space above the page title.Image of issue here:

Hey Dennis,
What versions of our plugins are you using? Can you list the exact version number of each here so that I can be sure you’re getting updates properly? I’m not having any issues with the plugins on my local site, and no one else is reporting this issue, so you may not be getting update notifications properly. A link to your site will also be helpful.

Hi, my web host moved our website to a new server. Now, the Theme options menu option is listed, along with each menu item in that, but when you clikc on it to open and change features (ie. Home page layout) nothing loads. They are at a loss to determine why this has occurred with the move. Can you shed any light on what may need to be updated in order for the theme options content to be returned. It looks like the url is correct for the option (I checked with other installs l have) but nothing shows. Any help would be appreciated.

Many of your plugins need updates, on my live server I have php 7.1 and local 7.2
On my local, I simply cannot have many of them activated as they slow down my server or they don’t function normally.
On my live site, it is the same, worst is the Related content plugin, I get this error many times if the plugin is activated
503
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!Because of this issues, I can’t have many of your plugins activated!
If I view pages its ok when I am logged in but if logged out, it takes minutes for the page to load and all I can see is the carousel text, repeated multiple times and nothing else is displayed.
I am really busy as the plan is to launch a new site today, therefore, I don’t have time to search all the error messages and post them.
I should mention I am not using any of your themes on this particular site. It is the Responsive Pro from cyberchimps.
